Donatello and the Royal Navy were coming into the the port of Costa Nueva, a small town on the western edge of modern Cuba. Mostly lively taverns and bleak shops lined the port's interior. Donatello glanced around noticing the line of ships and their flags. "Of course. Pirates." Donatello stepped off the ship in the midst of a drunken riot. It seemed to have the notorious Oriana Fuentez and a member of another crew yelling at each other.

Oriana pulled her sword on the man. "You do not hurt my crew member." She stood a good foot and a half smaller than the man she was fighting but still managed to draw the sword well close to his neck. Quickly she sliced his achilles tendon, sending him falling down, and nearly decapitated him with one swing across his neck. He was instantaneously dead. Oriana pushed past the crowd to enter the tavern with cheers behind her.

Amata sat in the tavern the entire span of the fight. She would rather not be involved the debacle of Oriana's rage although the fight was about that young man slapping her. Amata was longing to return home, despite her father's death. It had been a long year on Oriana's crew, despite Oriana's attempts to make her comfortable. Amata then noticed Oriana coming in, she plastered a fake smile on her face knowing Oriana fought him with the best intentions.
