I fear fame, I fear shame, I fear the shadow that looms over my name.
I fear of the unknown, and if my destiny will be set in stone.
I fear my emotions that I worry one day will take over...
That the steps I take lead me to doom, closer and closer...

I fear the hatred of others against me, I fear the depression I am slowly falling into.
I fear the cause of my inactions, simply not knowing what to do.

My mind is shutting in, blinds of madness flicker.
I cannot fight, the course of my thoughts transform like a shapeshifter.
I collapse to my knees, my arms begin to quiver.
Sweat glistens, death listens, as I begin to shiver.

Beasts howl, monsters prowl, instincts are my only friend.
I try to run, but the spindle has spun... Have I met my end?

I am soon showered by darkness and numbed by anxiety.
My phobias emerge, many a variety.
The ultimate nightmare has cornered me once and for all.
I cannot escape, this is my downfall.
