How would you like to get your own pet cat, dog, or other animals you've photographed on one of my projects? I'm in need of some photographs of various breeds of cats and dogs. Photos of other pets as well as wildlife are also also acceptable.



Please try to submit the highest quality photos you have. Good lighting and high quality cameras are appreciated, but I'll accept just about anything where you can identify what is in the picture.



You must own the rights to the photo. Do not steal others' photos! Please do not submit photos taken in zoos or of pets you do not own, as you most likely do not own those rights. Photos of wild animals are fine.



For the intended project, your photo will be credited on a separate page with a link on the page with the photos.



Legal stuff: By replying to this thread with your own photograph, you hearby grant me legal permission to use it as I please in projects related to site development.

Gonna add this too:
I need as many photos as possible. They're just gonna be thumbnails, so epic quality isn't a requirement. Ten photos of the same cat won't help, though. Two perhaps, but I don't want to reuse the same pets too much. Clearly visible faces are best.

I'll post more eventually, but this cat got out and I no longer know where he is. Sooooo, the others will come eventually.

Here is 2 picture of one of my favorite dogs; Foxy Brown. She is a Red Boston Terrier.

I guess this is good enough..not sure, the quality is bleh. I need a better webcam...

He's technically a stray kitty that my grandma lets in (without officially claiming him her's, since they have an indoor kitty already), but he gets along with me the most out of any other person, so I claim him. =w= I can't decide between the names Nimbus or Cloud, but I tend to lean towards Cloud just so I can call him Cloudy-Poo. Picture might be a litttttle grainy since my camera takes pictures in lesser quality than my phone, which is what I used here.

What I'm aiming for is the ability to tell that it is a cat, dog, or other animal at that size. I'd like to get as many photos as possible, so please ask around to try to get folks to submit them. The reason for this will be clear in a couple months.

I apologize for my previous picture submission not being good enough, but I have found an old pic from November 2010 that has much better quality.

This one should do the trick for the most part, if I'm not mistaken.

It's slightly altered from the original in the sense that it's colour-corrected after taking the photo.

I think I have some more cat photos... I'm surprised that the 3DS cameras hold up surprisingly OK-ish.

I apologize, but this project has been cancelled. Its intended use was going to be a custom CAPTCHA, similar to Asirra. For technical reasons and ease of hacking, I have discarded this and replaced my intended use with a classic reCAPTCHA.

I finally got my cat to stop running away from me so I can take- oh okay. At least we got to see some cute cat and dog pictures! =3

Here are some pictures of my dogs, 3 are Boxers and 1 is a Chihuahua.

This is one of my 3 dogs. She's part German Shepherd, part Husky, and part wolf.

My dog Momo, a mutt whom most of us humans are unsure what she is a mix of...

This is my cat, Patches. Apparently, cameras make a good place to rub up against.

Can't believe I forgot to share this in here.

Ive gotten into photography lately so thats why these photos look like some professional took them or whatever....but anyways~

I have 2 cats total:

1st picture- Archie (Mainecoon Mix)
2nd picture- Phoenix (Mainecoon)

Archie and Phoenix are not related whatsoever. Archie is from a rescue about 2 hours away from where i live and Phoenix is from the local rescue that we volunteer at and was rescue at the local Walmart under a heavy duty pick-up in a very dirty state. Even though Archie is my favorite of the two, i know a lot more about Phoenix and the meaning of his name.

Phoenix was a 6 week-old kitten when we first started to foster him since back then at the time we were volunteering for the shelter. But the day we got to foster him was the day after my family's first cat tragically got hit by a car just a few days after my birthday. Her name was Asha, because her coat was grey like ashes. Hopefully everybody reading this knows how a Phoenix life cycles. And thought the name Phoenix was perfect for the new-comer foster kitten. Weeks pasted and somebody called to adopt him. My mom and I had a hard time saying our goodbyes. But. It turns out we have the right to adopt him over somebody else since we fostered him. Which then that choice came true. Today, Phoenix is a 2 1/2 year old happy cat with his 'brother from another mother' Archie to keep him company.
