*grabs root* *pulls himself out* *holds his arm down* "Grab on."

"When I say 3 you push as hard as you can on the leg that doesn't hurt." *holds her arm* "1-2-3!"

*jumps up*

"There we go. Let's get back to camp." *picks up Sydney* *limps*

They walk back to camp in pain.

"I can walk."

"Yeah." *starts walking*

"Let me help you." *holds out hands to offer help* "We're nearly there."

"Thank you." *puts head on his shoulder*

"We'll be alright. There's the camp." *rests her leg in his hand and lays her down into the base*

"No problem." *smiles at her*

"Alright. We'll need to make little noise and have little light coming from here. They could find us."

*walks towards them from behind a bush* "Hey!"

"Who are you?" *holds up gun* "Are you an ally?"

*gets nervous*

*puts hand up in air for dear life* "Hey hey HEY! We don't need any shooting involved here. I was sent for a mission. Do you folks need any help?"

"By who? Who sent you on this 'mission?'" *lowers gun*

"My master, Kabaka. He is a Blaziken. He sent me out on a mission to train so I can return back to my master and take his place when he passes" *shows and opens a scroll of a Blaziken harmonizing* "This is my master"

"You're not going to kill us, are you?" *tears up a little*

"What exactly is this... Blaziken thing you speak of. It's not from this planet I'm sure."

"No I'm not here to kill you. Kabaka is a species of a Pokemon. They control a certain part of our Earth that no human has ever heard of. I was sent for that mission I mentioned..." *turns head and looks up at the sky* "But I want to be a free person. Free from being ruled by Pokemon. That's why I haven't returned to my master for 2 years. People have asked my if I need help but nobody would believe me..."

"I believe you, but how could we help?"

"I'm not helping. I think she's lying. If there was a species controlling people in a certain part of the Earth, I would have heard of it." *turns around* *lays down*

"Brandon, we could at least check it out."

"I can prove that I'm telling truth." *pulls out a microchip and a computerized map of Earth appears* *points to a location in the Pacific Ocean at a island* "This is where humans are being trapped and have to obey Kabaka. My civilization is underground of Mt. Kufai..." *looks down* "...but I will leave if I'm causing trouble"

"And why exactly should we help you?" *crosses arms*

"Brandon, he's being oppressed. If it was you, you would seek help too."

"But how did he get here? If he was stranded in the Pacific then how did he end up here? I'm not helping him unless he gives me a full explanation."

"I'll help you..... I never learned your name."

"Oh I'm sorry...I never did tell you my name." *turns and stares at them* "My names Mikamu...otherwise my friends back on my island call me Mika." *turns to Brandon* "Yes...I did travel here by a boat... I built it out of Bamboo and Cocoanut shells."

"I... I can't help..." *raises pant leg* *reveals twisted leg* *flesh is peeled off*

"I'll help you."

"It's... it's too late. It's infected. I can't go on. I'll go back into the city and get people to work on it. You can help her, not me."

"Mika, I'll help you as soon as I help him." *picks up Brandon* "You'll be okay."

"I can... walk myself. I'll go to the nearest town. You go. I'll get there by myself. You help her."

"Are you sure?"

*stands up* "Ya. I can manage."

"I don't want you to manage. I want to make sure you'll be okay." *hugs Brandon*

"I'll... I'll be alright." *hugs her back*

"You sound unsure."

"I'm sure I'll be fine."

*kisses his cheek* "You better."

*stands tearing* "Here." *gets a pad out of her backpack and grabs some nearby twigs and vines* *wraps it around Brandon's leg* "This should help it from getting infected. Are you sure you don't want to help me?"

"I'll have to help you later." *limps away*

"Mika....I'll help you." *tears up as Brandon limps away*

*struggles but gets over the hill* *sees town* "Ah there's a hospital."

*waits for Mika*

"Do you have something that we can stay connected with him?"

*pulls out phone* *tries to call Brandon*

*arrives at hospital* *asked to turn off phone* *turns off phone*

"He's not picking up."

*goes into operating room* *gets sedated*

*starts praying Brandon will be okay*

"Let's try later...he's at the hospital remember?" *pulls out a sheet with a list on it* "We need to get ready for the trip...Here's the list." *hands it to her* "By the way I never knew youur name...what's your name?"

*gets out of bed* *walks to door*

"Sydney." *looks at list* "I guess we should get started."

*stumbles out of hospital in scrub outfit*

*climbs over hill* *sees forest*

"Ok it says first on the list we need a shelter...that's portable that we can afford..." *pulls out money* "I only have $153.29." *looks at Sydney* "Do you know anywhere we can get something like this?"

"The only thing I can think of is buying a tent."

*sees Sydney and Mika* *walks towards them*

"Hey look it's Brandon!" *turns to Brandon* "That was a fast operation how are you doing?"

"Urrr... hey..." *holds leg* "It still hurts a lot."

"Let's go get a tent so we can sleep for the night and get ready for the trip. Also so we can let your leg heal." *looks around* "Know anywhere that's safe to stay?"

"Well we did just set up a little base." *directs her to the camp*

"Oh! Okay." *stomach gurgles* "Is there food there?" *smiles and giggles*

"Urr... there was a small ration that I kept." *lifts up rock* "It's missing! Great..."

*looks at a tree* *climbs it* *looks above the forest* "Hey! I see a waterfall! There might be some berries there!"

"Berries won't cut it. We need protein." *smells ground* "Deer nearby."

"We can hunt them then cook with a fire."

"Uh...I'm a vegetarian."

"You can eat the berries."

"You know in some cases of survival your going to have to give it up. What would you rather do? Die or eat meat?"

"Just pick the meat."
