I doubt that there existence would fade. Even though hard drives have larger capacity, memory sticks are smaller in size. Their size is their biggest advantage. They are extremely portable, which is why we will continue using them for smaller day-to-day files, unless hard drives become as small and as fast in accessing the information.

Hmm... When flash memory prices keep collapsing, well, good things will happen, right?
Believe it or not, but I actually have Chrome installed. Fastest, though? Not for me. I tried it with a lot of tabs open, and, well... it's a lagfest. |
|
Prices going down is not necessary due to decrease in demand. You also need to take to account that fact that manufacturing the technology of USB is now easier and cheaper than few years ago. Since the costs of manufacturing is getting less, then it is appropriate to say that prices are decreasing.

I suggest downloading and installing Google Chrome. Not only it is the fastest web browser so far, it is has a handy spelling check and its options are easy to use and handy.

As of the lagging part, I would say that about Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox, which always crashes!

The newest one is Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, but it's more expensive than your usual game because it has... well, figurines and stuff and... well, a lot of things.
It's also available on the XBOX 360 and Wii, and a different version is available for the 3DS (that will come with a different set of figurines, but all of them are usable in other platforms) It can get expensive, though. That game got mostly good reviews, but it, I think, isn't what most people call a true Spyro game. |

I do believe that these days, an external hard disk is much more cheaper than a memory stick per GB, and... well, it's larger, hence less easy to lost, though it IS larger and slightly heavier. I got my 1TB one for less than $90, and... it only needs one USB cable to plug into one port.
Seriously, I was thinking two ports and/or external AC adaptors. I was wrong. |
Happy Halloween everyone. Today I got my learner's permit. Looks pretty sexy. When I was there taking the test, somebody I knew came in to register to vote. Okay so it was my best friend's mom. My best friend lived in Louisianna (where I was from). Well he came in too to take his learner's test. At first I didn't recognize them until he said, "Finally dress like your gender." (I looked like a little boy when I was younger) I hadn't seen him since I was like 8. Today was the best day ever
So I finally came back from trick or treating. You're never too cool or old for that. And if you think you are, then your argument is invalid.
Also, my mom came over to visit from Mexico. She usually comes up once a month every year, but finances restricted her from coming these past two years, so it's nice to finally see her.
Overall a pretty good day. ;>
I'm back
I'm so relieved I have power again I haven't had it since 5:00 on Saturday and my family was told we wouldn't get it back until Sunday.
So I'm really relieved I no longer have to travel to recharge my lap top and how I can now take a shower and flush the toilet. I had to resort to pooping in a plastic bag.
So how has everyone else's week going for them?
I don't have to show up for school until Monday ![]()

Starting from tomorrow, I will be having a holiday until Tuesday. A 5-days holiday should be enough to take a break from the excessive amount of work we had for 2 months.
As for today, we had like 20 universities visiting our school and promoting themselves. I disliked all of them, but it was a good way of wasting time and skipping classes. After the lectures, we continued playing football (soccer) for more than an hour to finally go to my basketball practice. It was an exhausting day; my feet are sore and I can no longer walk. Yet I enjoyed it.

My graduation ceremony for my IGCSE is in June. I can't wait for it, seriously.

I am obviously the best asteroid.

1 – ShinyToday was fun. I went with my family and friends to the desert, where we spent the whole day until late night. Not only we enjoyed the trip, but the weather was extremely cool to an extent where it started raining, or rather dropping. Nevertheless, today marked the first day of the raining season, and I honestly hope that this year there will be a lot more rain than last year's.
Another good thing: I finally defeated Uncharted 2: Among the Thieves after a month of playing.
So, admittedly, I was probably overreacting a little bit from this little incident, but just when I thought I was getting better, I went into a relatively important local scholarship competition that I had won 1st prize in Piano in last year, and yesterday, I didn't even place.

I believe I have now entered the stage of my senior year that I call "Academic Depression," where you really seem to lose all motivation to do anything school related, mainly because it just feels like you can't do anything right.
(Also, I saw the judging papers at State. Remind me to scream bloody murder at someone later...)

" version. Y'know, the one where the afflicted is all, "I'm about to graduate. I don't give a rip about my homework." I find this to be the most difficult type to work with, as the condition seems to make the individual unable to comprehend that the homework they don't give a rip about must be completed in order to graduate in the first place.|

I'm doing a solo piece on Marimba for a thing called "Solo & Ensemble" which is when someone or some groups get together and play pieces then get scored from a 4 to a 1 (one being best). You get a one or a two, you get a medal.
I normally play Trombone... and the music piece is Hungarian Dance No. 5.

So today was our first day after the 5-days holiday. No one came to school, so I simply came back home to enjoy today as well as tomorrow as holiday, and then a weekend of Friday and Saturday.
|
I haven't really had a break from school besides one day off during the week (not including weekends). I'm both physically and mentally tired from school, so I need a break from all this work. :sThis weekend is the first three day weekend since the beginning of the school year. And boy does it feel great! A hurricane came and cancelled the first few days of school. To remedy that, the board decided not to use our 4 snow days on the three cancelled school days, but take some of our early dismissal days and turn them into full days, and take some of our days off and turn them into early dismissals.
I'd love to relax, but I have college work
Plus that piece of crap "Senior Exit Portfolio" our school makes us do.
I hate all the homework I'm getting:
-A.P. Statistics is so confusing, I would've understood it better if it were written in German.
-American Civics is literally impossible to do for me.
-L.A. teacher has the inability to print my essay.
-Japanese is Japanese, just typical work.
-Physics gives me stuff that I don't remember how to solve.
Go school.
I decided to start studying for my exams in the end of November tomorrow. I wonder how much I can resist the temptation of not studying. It usually overcomes me, but hopefully, I can start tomorrow.
Today, I finished watching the ten seasons of the sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It is a wonderful show and I was so happy these months watching it. I am really going to miss it.

Today is the last day of my holiday. It feels so awkward going back to school after 9 days of vacation.

I'm lost whether to buy Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3. Any recommendations?

Okay I just realized I don't remember the last time I logged onto OH MY GOD I don't remember what the new name for the old Pokedoptables section of the site is what is wrong with me.

I haven't bothered to write my AP paper in biology yet (it's due Thursday). I'm a procrastinator, but somehow I stay up 'til three in the morning and get a 100% which really scares my family. Another thing that scares my family is my IQ level. 151. Ironically my "learning disabilities" have gotten worse. I can't focus in school or on one thing at a time. I think it's kind of funny actually. Oh wait got to get on that AP paper.
As of now, there is a limit of 100 posts per page.
