Hmm... When flash memory prices keep collapsing, well, good things will happen, right?

Prices going down is not necessary due to decrease in demand. You also need to take to account that fact that manufacturing the technology of USB is now easier and cheaper than few years ago. Since the costs of manufacturing is getting less, then it is appropriate to say that prices are decreasing.

As of the lagging part, I would say that about Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox, which always crashes!

As far as I'm concerned Mozilla isn't a data-miner like Google is.

All browsers are equally crash-able as far as Anvil God is concerned.

SO ANYWAY Kero had another blackout at keros college last night. Power's been back up for 12 hours thankfully.

Seriously, I was thinking two ports and/or external AC adaptors. I was wrong.
Funny enough, there was a massive electronics exhibition called Gitex Shoppers 2011 around two weeks ago. Many shops have stands and amazing deals to promote their products, both new and old ones, in order to get rid of as much stock as possible. And contrary to what you might think, most of the electronic stuff on display is actually of really good quality. So when I bought a new laptop this year, I got 8 free things with it, including a 500 GB external hard drive, a digital camera, a 3-in-1 printer and speakers. Everything is branded and is functioning properly so far!

Happy Halloween everyone. Today I got my learner's permit. Looks pretty sexy. When I was there taking the test, somebody I knew came in to register to vote. Okay so it was my best friend's mom. My best friend lived in Louisianna (where I was from). Well he came in too to take his learner's test. At first I didn't recognize them until he said, "Finally dress like your gender." (I looked like a little boy when I was younger) I hadn't seen him since I was like 8. Today was the best day ever

So I finally came back from trick or treating. You're never too cool or old for that. And if you think you are, then your argument is invalid.

Also, my mom came over to visit from Mexico. She usually comes up once a month every year, but finances restricted her from coming these past two years, so it's nice to finally see her.

Overall a pretty good day. ;>

Hmm, this reminds me of a classmate I knew back in middle school. He would constantly claim he was sick on important days, such as test/quiz days or days that a project was due. He would always be granted to leave and go home, despite the suspicious timing of his sickness. My middle school teachers weren't too bright.

I'm back

I'm so relieved I have power again I haven't had it since 5:00 on Saturday and my family was told we wouldn't get it back until Sunday.

So I'm really relieved I no longer have to travel to recharge my lap top and how I can now take a shower and flush the toilet. I had to resort to pooping in a plastic bag.

So how has everyone else's week going for them?

I don't have to show up for school until Monday

Starting from tomorrow, I will be having a holiday until Tuesday. A 5-days holiday should be enough to take a break from the excessive amount of work we had for 2 months.

As for today, we had like 20 universities visiting our school and promoting themselves. I disliked all of them, but it was a good way of wasting time and skipping classes. After the lectures, we continued playing football (soccer) for more than an hour to finally go to my basketball practice. It was an exhausting day; my feet are sore and I can no longer walk. Yet I enjoyed it.

Not only we enjoyed the trip, but the weather was extremely cool to an extent where it started raining, or rather dropping. I believe I have now entered the stage of my senior year that I call "Academic Depression," where you really seem to lose all motivation to do anything school related, mainly because it just feels like you can't do anything right.

That's called "Senioritis". Symptoms include what you just described and slight variations of it. The strain I observed occurring in others most frequently in high school was the "Embedded image" version. Y'know, the one where the afflicted is all, "I'm about to graduate. I don't give a rip about my homework." I find this to be the most difficult type to work with, as the condition seems to make the individual unable to comprehend that the homework they don't give a rip about must be completed in order to graduate in the first place.

I personally experienced the kind where you get depressed because your entire life is going to be shifting gears into a new setting and you don't know exactly what to expect. I'm currently going through a bit of the same thing again since I have just graduated from college and am now beginning to look for a job. I just try to look forward to the day that I do get a job and that my life will adapt to consider working to be "the norm" instead of going to school.

Yeah, I know about Senioritis, but I don't like saying that I have it, because that makes me come across as lazy, as you pointed out most patients of said disease are. I suppose how I called it is a form of Senioritis, but I'd also like to think it's much different. I'm very actively involved in a lot of things at my school, but what happens a lot is something stupid happens in one of those, and I suddenly don't want to do anything for an extended period of time.

It's not that I stopped caring enough about the homework to do it. It's moreover that I stopped having the motivation to do anything productive at home. I've even let some of the things that I actually want to do fall down the priority list.

Standard Rating system for Solo and Ensemble, I see. I think mine MIGHT have the extra V for the particularly bad, but those ratings are rare if even present.
As it happens, I'm doing a marimba piece for Solo and Ensemble also. I'm also doing a tenor-soprano duet with my friend.

I am lucky, but in two weeks time, I will be conducting my midyear exams and as you may have guessed, I haven't even touched a book yet.

I will be graduating this Saturday.

To think that it ends there now, huh?

Ugh. I hate being sick. -_-
Been in bed with the flu for the past 3 days. Anything is better than just laying in bed miserable.

On another note, Skyrim comes out tomorrow, and I plan on heading to go get it.

This weekend is the first three day weekend since the beginning of the school year. And boy does it feel great! A hurricane came and cancelled the first few days of school. To remedy that, the board decided not to use our 4 snow days on the three cancelled school days, but take some of our early dismissal days and turn them into full days, and take some of our days off and turn them into early dismissals.

I'd love to relax, but I have college work Plus that piece of crap "Senior Exit Portfolio" our school makes us do.

I hate all the homework I'm getting:
-A.P. Statistics is so confusing, I would've understood it better if it were written in German.
-American Civics is literally impossible to do for me.
-L.A. teacher has the inability to print my essay.
-Japanese is Japanese, just typical work.
-Physics gives me stuff that I don't remember how to solve.

Go school.

I decided to start studying for my exams in the end of November tomorrow. I wonder how much I can resist the temptation of not studying. It usually overcomes me, but hopefully, I can start tomorrow.

Today, I finished watching the ten seasons of the sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It is a wonderful show and I was so happy these months watching it. I am really going to miss it.

We actually graduate twice in our school: once in our Junior year, since we graduate the IGCSE course, and one in our Senior year, since that is the official end of high school.

I believe I have now entered the stage of my senior year that I call "Academic Depression," where you really seem to lose all motivation to do anything school related, mainly because it just feels like you can't do anything right.

(Also, I saw the judging papers at State. Remind me to scream bloody murder at someone later...)
I'm slightly like you in the sense that I am extremely competitive in everything I do, but I learned a couple of years ago that I should tone it down. Just keep in mind that life consists of both ups-and-downs.

Uhm. From what I've heard from critics and friends, MW3 isn't that great, just a decent FPS like always. I have a couple friends who play BF3 too, and they say it's good, but not a heavenly game.
Either way, they're both another cookie cutter FPS, but I'm still going to get BF3.

Well, your question was real generic. No one probably answered it because they didn't know what you were questioning.
All you said was "Wait what is this about??" What can be anything, this thread, a certain post, the forum, etc.

You'll have to give us more if you want us to answer you. It's not like we're mind readers.

I haven't bothered to write my AP paper in biology yet (it's due Thursday). I'm a procrastinator, but somehow I stay up 'til three in the morning and get a 100% which really scares my family. Another thing that scares my family is my IQ level. 151. Ironically my "learning disabilities" have gotten worse. I can't focus in school or on one thing at a time. I think it's kind of funny actually. Oh wait got to get on that AP paper.
