I got the last copy of Dream Team at the GameStop that I was at. I consider myself lucky.

Stopped by the thrift store after dropping off some unneeded stuff, and I found:
- Handspring Visor Neo (early palmtop computer) for $1
- Parallel printer cable (for communications tinkering), also for $1
- Sony TC-WE305 dual cassette deck for $7

Little did I know that there was a "50% Off All Merchandise" sale going on, so after all was said and done, I ended up paying about $5 for everything. The icing on the cake, was the fact that everything worked perfectly when I tested my latest finds.

And yes, I am a huge sucker for analog audio gear and other vintage technology. It comes as no surprise that you'd find plenty of cassettes, VHS tapes, old radios, and vinyl records in my collection.

Three Sims 3 expansion packs (Pets, Generations, University Life), for SGD 56.25 or so.

One thing I like about Origin is that they can use local currency. No conversion troubles.

Preordered X and Y a few days ago. October 12th can't come soon enough.

Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle (PS1 -complete) - $3 (only reason I got this was because it has the first demo for Vigilante 8, so I need it for my Vigilante 8 collection)

Another copy of Mario Paint (SNES), Mario Paint (SFC; Super Famicom), Wario's Woods (SNES), and some Pokémon trading cards, all for about $23.

Today I got the Wii U Deluxe Set and Earthbound for myself. For a friend I also bought him Project X-Zone (He's a day older than me and we shared a joint birthday party.)

With the money I received I might save it or buy Mario and Luigi RPG4 Dream Team.

Today I bought Pokèmon Rumble U and two figures. I ended with Litwick and Shaymin, so it's all good. The figures are quite small, but the come in gashapon capsules, which I think is EPIC. Can't wait to play it~

I just spent the best worst $200 ever. Went and preordered the Blue XY special edition 3DSXL.

My friend convinced me to buy an app called Akinator. $1.99 I think. It asks you questions about any fictional or real character to try to guess who it is. It is freakishly good. I've only fooled it by making it guess an obscure card from Magic: the Gathering. It even guessed Kisara from Yu-Gi-Oh!

Also got a Japanese PS1 copy of Vigilante 8 (The Best (Greatest Hits)) complete for $10.

A while back I ordered a Game Boy Micro for $88, and yay it just arrived so I can take a crappy picture of it

(also, there's a speck of dust on the underside of the faceplate. So now I have to somehow take it off. >.<)

Pokemon X/Y, you're next...

That's the first time I've seen you truly smiling in a picture, Cyrus.

But these aren't just any CRT sets, these are Sony Trinitron PVM monitors. These are high-end professional monitors that are used in places like TV studios, hospitals for medical equipment, and security cameras. With that though, these Sony Trinitron PVM (and BVM) monitors are actually the best possible sets you can use for retro gaming.



The top unit is a PVM-1271Q (12" screen) and the bottom a PVM-14N2U (14" screen). Yes they are small screens, but considering the picture quality I'm fine with it (that and I don't have room for one of the larger sets at the moment anyway). Once I get them cleaned up and calibrated, I'll take some comparison shots against my run-of-the-mill set (well the best shots I can get, anyone who's tried to photograph a CRT screen knows the difficulty in it).



Oh yes where I got them and price. Normally, sets like these run in the $100-150 range. I found someone on Craigslist who said he had two and was asking $50 each. After getting there and playing with the units, the guy said I could take them both for $60. All I had in my wallet was $55, but he accepted. I really only need one, but for that price they were both coming home with me. 

Well I scrapped together painfully the (ever so slightly increasing price) of a pre-order on Pokemon Y version and got that poster... which is kinda bleh I think, compared to what the other countries got. xP But yay Yveltal~ One more month and I can pet it on Pokemon Amie... but seriously the pre-order was $40-some odd number. Instead of the typical $38. I don't like that.

Put money aside for a purchase of GTA V next week. As well finishing pre-order payments for WatchDogs and Pokemon Y. Plus started a mini pool to purchase This mother.

In terms of non games. I went on a spree that gives my parents a reason I should never have money in my access...

This whole damn shelf netted me over $355. The shelf was $10...

Two figurines on the Left are Play Arts Figurines, went for a hefty $75 each. 

The four on the right went for around $25 each. 

The character key in the center was roughly $50. 

So where did the other $45 come from?

I picked up a Sony KD-34XBR960 HDTV off Craigslist for $100, primarily for my media and gaming setup. That dang thing is 200 pounds in weight, but the picture is absolutely beautiful.

I got my Grand Theft Auto V: Collector's Edition (Xbox 360) yesterday from GameStop.

I also ordered my keyboard and mouse from Newegg. My sister gave me a monitor a little while ago (not sure how good it is, though). All I need now is a desk and a place for it.

Got a few things from the 3DS eshop today, cuz why not
10-in-1 Arcade Collection($2.99) Fun, little collection of arcade games, though most of them aren't that well known. Presentation is beautiful, and it's still good fun for the price.
Kirby's Dreamland 2($3.99)Got this with the Kirby's 20th Anniversary collection, and I loooooved it~ It's one of my favorites in the series to be honest. Definitely deserved a second buy imo.
Super Mario Land 2($3.99) I actually never played this game before, so of course I had to get this.
Cave Story($9.99) Uhh, it's Cave Story. No surprise here.

I do need to save money, though, I'm looking to buy both Windwaker HD and Pokemon X next month.

Recently picked up a copy of Need for Speed Most Wanted U.

Today, I bought my monitor (the one we had wasn't properly equipped). It's a Dell 24" LED 1080p with VGA and HDMI. It is a very nice looking screen. The keyboard and mouse I ordered also came in today (Tt eSports Therion and the Microsoft Sidewinder X4).

Preparation for Pokemon Y. I got this shiny purple nurple off amazon used, but it's almost like new! So I'm borrowing his Dream Drop Distance until X/Y releases.

I got Shadow Warrior Classic Redux when it went on sale that one time a month and a half ago.
I was also gifted Magicka and Bastion a few days ago.
I got Pokémon Rumble U a little bit ago.

While I don't have Pokémon Rumble U and figure I won't have it for a while, I figured that I might as well pick up some figures while they're easily obtainable at stores like GameStop. I bought two, and inside were Eevee and Bulbasaur.

Bought The Wonderful 101. And damn this game is fun. It's theme is also stuck in my head now...

Picked up my 3 Palkias and, because I had no reason not to, put $10 each on X and Y. I'll get my Giratinas and pay off the rest on the 12th.

Picked me up a copy of Pikmin 3. What have I been missing all this time?!?!

I just picked up the latest Humble Bundle (but didn't bother with the bonus games).

Also, anyone want a free copy of Humble Bundle with Android 6 (no bonus games)? I accidentally bought two of them a while back when that one was going on. The four games (Aquaria, Fractal, Organ Trail: Director's Cut, and Stealth *censored* Deluxe) work on Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux and include their respective soundtracks. There's also a Steam key for folks who use that.

Been so preoccupied with X and Y that I forgot to say that I picked up my preorders on launch day.

Earlier I bought the "Xbox Demo Disc" (Sega GT 2002 & Jet Set Radio Future plus a bunch of trailers) and Shadow the Hedgehog, for a total of about $20.

I paid off and picked up the Pokémon X/Y strategy guide from GameStop, which I had pre-ordered with the game.

Oh yes got The Stanley Parable on Steam for $12 on Tuesday. Played the demo and it seemed like the randomest thing ever, so I got full version. Full version is randomest thing ever X20, but I love it (though I think I found pretty much everything within 6 hours of playing).

I picked up the Nyko Power Pak+ for the 3DS from GameStop for only $7, to replace the dying one in my own system. I also bought a USB charger to charge it while around my laptop but not around an outlet.

I got Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U for $40 and a decal for my 3DS XL for $7. It was totally worth it.

I got The Stanley Parable on Steam for $15. Next up (when I get the money for it) will be Antichamber, hopefully.

SO getting SUPAH Castelvania 4 on VC once I get the chance

I got a black 3DS XL for $100 on Craigslist. The reason why I got so cheap because it didn't have the charger and stylus but I already have 2 chargers for it (one from my DSi and another my 3DS. Yes they ARE compatible with the 3DS XL) so I'm covered there and I just bought the screen protectors, which includes the XL stylus.

The screen protectors cost about $9 at GameStop so all together I spent $109 on my 3DS XL.

Bought the memory card that goes with the GameCube Action Replay for $20 shipped, thus completing the AR set worth $80. Now to go mess with the debug menu in Smash Bros Melee.

I picked up a Nintendo 2DS and Pokémon Y off Craigslist, both practically brand new.

I got Lego Marvel Superheroes on Tuesday and I've been playing it nonstop since.

I got Metroid: Other M for $5 brand spankin' new at K-Mart. I'd say it was well worth.

While out Black Friday shopping, my mom got me a PS3 bundle with Arkham Origins and The Last of Us, as well as a copy of Kingdom Hearts HD Remix 1.5 as my birthday present. I went to GameStop and pick up a copy of Gundam something or other for $6

I have obtained Forza 4!

Price: £30 ($49.11 USD)

Ridiculous Price, but I couldn't be bothered to wait if I ordered it. Great game!

Best Buy had a nice deal going on. Wii U Mario and Luigi Deluxe Set + Nintendo Land + Mario or Luigi Wiimote Plus for $320 (Normal Wii U Deluxe $300 + NSMB U $60 + NSL $30 + Nintendo Land $30 + Wiimote Plus $40 = $460 total for everything with no bundles).

Obviously I took advantage of this and finally got myself a Wii U (with Luigi controller). Looks like my Xbox 360 with GTA V can finally take a break.

I combined gift cards to get Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. I got another gift card from that which I can combine with ANOTHER gift card and I'll use those in December for either A Link Between Worlds, Mario Party Island Tour, or Dark Moon.

Eh, I decided to go out anyway and do a bit of my Christmas shopping. There really wasn't anything of interest otherw--

Okay, I lied. I couldn't pass up on Best Buy's deal on the Wii U. They had plenty of them still at the store. I'm contemplating whether I should open it now or wait until school ends (so I can focus on my projects).

Dammit. I got Kirby Dream Collection, Halo 4, and New Super Mario Bros. U for Cyber Monday. So that means I got 4 games knocked off my list this weekend. And I still have gift cards for 2 more games? Ooh, someone better stop me now.

Got some really weird game involving two plumbers, a princess, and a talking mushroom traveling the land eating other mushrooms, stomping on other other mushrooms and turtles all while wearing cute cat fursuits just to climb up a flag pole.

Some of you may know this game as Super Mario 3D World.
