That excludes one address. That should be enough for you to find it yourself.

Well, there are some villages that have the same technology as they did centuries ago. I'm just saying that people complain about technology not working all the time, and saying that they can't live without it, but there are people who have it much worse.

School started today, and it was good. Two of my teachers I've had before. When I came into my tech class, despite not going there for months, my legs automatically took me to my old computer. We had a good laugh about that, since it apparently happened to another person lol. When the only girl in our class came in and saw me she immediately ran up and hugged me, so I guess I don't have to cut myself tonight <3. And other than that it was a normal first-day-of-school.

Today was my last day of work.

I was supposed to start school Tomorrow but they cancelled it due to the hurricane.

So school now starts for me on Wednesday.

It seems I will be the last one to enter the school among you all, as my school starts on the 11th of September.

I didn't know people in the middle east went to school during the weekend.

So do you guys go to school 7 days a week?

If my school did that I'd go insane.

No, but our weekend is on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday is the first day of the week. I know it is messed up, since not all the countries in the Middle East are like that. Back in Lebanon, we used to have the same weekend as you all, but in Dubai, things are different.

Ah, wow, Spirit.. I haven't seen you in like forever. (Then again, I haven't been on VR in forever)

Anyway, on topic :/

Weekends arent as awesome as they used to be for me :/ I have large piles of IB homework and a more or less full time weekend job to work at..

Good to see you again. What happened with your IG results by the way? I heard they were announced already. Plus, are you applying for any IG exam this year, or you are done?

Today we had a chemical spill, 3 fire drills, and the drug dogs come in. Not a productive day for students, but a productive day for the resource officers and Haz-Mat

This is either the sign of a very exciting year ahead, or a very dull one.

Do you know any details yet?

First day of school seemed pretty good today. I came out alive.
'Twas real boring, though. The teachers went through all the classroom rules and procedures nearly every period.
Plus their was a mistake in my schedule, so I got switched from Algebra I to Geometry.

No one was harmed. 14 kids were caught with drugs (mostly sophmores of course). Someone pulled the fire alarm the first time and it screwed up the system

I love how I keep hearing stories about students with drugs and criminal activity, and then nothing ever, I repeat, ever happens at my school. The drug dogs never find anything (for every year they've done it since I've gone to school, they've never found anything), the fire alarms are always scheduled, and we rarely ever have violent breakouts. I suppose it's because we live in what we call the "Agoura Bubble" (named after the place where the school is), where there almost never have any criminal activity. Maybe once every 6 weeks at the most. That also might be because all the crime is confined to our neighbor to the south, Los Angeles. XD

My school, something always happens. I mean we're supposed to be the best school around, but there's always something. Also gossip spreads like wildfire in my school, so you always know what's going on

Well, with Facebook and all that stuff going around, that's not much a surprise. I try to stay out of things that don't concern me to the slightest.

THIS. Teachers now think that weekends are there for burdening students with homework, quizzes, tests, assignments and whatnot. Do they expect us to work 7 days a week?

I think you need to get some advise from Jared the player.

Thankfully, the worst thing that ever happened in our school was either smoking in the bathroom or, in the case of only one student ever, smelling a drug-like substance which gets you high. Our school, and the country here, is extremely safe as compared to other countries.

Lovely. You send the crime to our district, huh? xD
We also got lectured today in PE by the principals. Mainly about drugs though.
Last year about 4 or 5 kids got busted for having marijuana in their backpacks and lockers. Two other kids got arrested for having weapons as well. One had a letter opener, while the other a screwdriver.

So we're going to be having drug dogs down here next week to sniff the lockers.

If anyone were to have a shank at one of our football games, it would most likely be the 0lder kids in the stands. Typically the high schoolers who try to fit in with the "gangsters".
There actually was a stabbing at a football game three years ago too. Luckily no one suffered sever damage, and the guy got arrested.

One kid got in trouble a few years ago for saying that something was "the bomb" (AKA Cool for all you noncool people) in the hallway. That right there's just being paranoid.
