First, if you think you have been exposed to poison ivy, oak, or sumac, wash all exposed areas thoroughly. If you can do this within five minutes of contact, many times you may avoid an allergic reaction.
You can treat most cases of the rash yourself with calamine lotion. Cold compresses -- 15 to 30 minutes several times a day -- are useful for itching and blistering; cool showers are also effective. Antihistamines may also relieve the symptoms, but they can have unwanted side effects. If you have complications from a severe case, you may need to see a doctor. If your case is so severe that general illness (fever, nausea, dehydration) develops, your doctor may recommend oral prednisone or another corticosteroid.
If you do contact any of these poisonous plants, be sure to clean your clothing, tools, or any gear that you may have had with you. Since urushiol can remain on clothing and other items for extended periods of time, you don't want to be re-exposed at a later date by touching a contaminated item.

I didn't write that. It's from Web M.D. Very useful, though! Hope that helped.
1 – PokeRemixStudioI have a job interview today in a local pizza place and I think I did alright. I have to call them on Friday to find out if they are hiring me. I want to have a job to earn some money and save some for college. I have some issues with my parents when it comes with college especially they want me to stay at home. At this point, I better off making my own path because even talking to them doesn't help anything.
Great. this was the only place I could vent and calmly express myslef, and now that's being taken away from me through infraction threats?
I would go to glitch city but people act like hooligans there...
Edit: and I can't do VR chats... so infracting me for this would be like taking away my freedom of speech... just sayin.

@Nytz: You shouldn't be worried about being infracted here unless you post spam or irrelevant posts. besides, Mag never said he was going to infract people for sure here. It was just a warning to everyone to not post small one sentence posts.
Anyways.
I'm so excited because I just found out that we might be going to the LA County Fair. <3
We didn't get to go their last year cause my parents got sick, and I really hope that doesn't happen again this year.
I love the deep fried food they had their 2 years ago. Deep fried Oreos and Deep fried White castle burgers are like heaven in your mouth. <3

Whenever I hear about "deep fried _______," all I can think of is this small excerpt I saw of a show called "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations." This is what I remember hearing him say--
"A fried cheesecake on a stick. God. It's like, 'Doctor! Doctor! I'm not fat enough! How do we speed up the process?"
But, hey, I don't see what's wrong with it. If you can down a deep fried stick of butter and not die of a heart-attack on the spot, you have my respect.

Wow that sounds so much better then my town's fair, it's basically typical you know everything you'll see at any fair they'll probably have at the in my town.
The one worse going to in the area though is easily the Big E fair which has everything to the max. Also what is it with people who live in the south and frying all foods? |

Okay, but even though it's a solid, it technically acts as a liquid in that it's small pieces that behave like liquid atoms (where are my nerd glasses?), so how do you but it in a deep fryer and expect to be able to get it out? Is there some sort of video you've found of this, because I'm getting a little incredulous at this point...

Where do you FIND this stuff? I've never seen this in Arizona, although that could very easily be because I haven't really looked hard enough. Again, though, past a certain point, a lot of deep-fried food items just sound nauseating, with all due respect to those who actually enjoy them.

I'm very unlucky with video games.
I recently bought a Sega Genesis with Dynamite Headdy and a couple other games for no particular good reason, and I haven't played it since I found out I need a special video cable for it.
I also sent in my 3DS for repairs after it broke for no reason. When I got it back, everything on it was deleted and I can't access my eShop now. Better watch your back, Nintendo.
I like it with garivor alone. Looks cool like that.
My sister bought a beta fish. It is a pretty purple fish. The thing I dislike about her owning a fish is one things: she calls them tghe most weirdest names. Her last one she called was a gold fish and she named it Swimmy. But when they die, she acts like its a big deal. But I can sort of understand because when a pet dies, you miss it lots. I missed my old dog Galen when he died
In an hour I'm leaving for my new job YEY. My community got a pool, and since my dad's a commissioner my mom and I are obligated to work in the food stand. For now, it's going to be volunteer, but wednesday night the township manager is going to call a vote to give everyone working at the pool a wage, probably minimum. But the lifeguard is hot so it's all good ![]()

I just resumed Zelda Phantom Hourglass after perhaps over an year of not playing. Got a headache from playing it. No, not the puzzles, just the hours of playing. And I gotta clear my head before tonight's WoW raid. I am also bored.

I already used up the random thought of the day for this thread, Kaorto. Try again tomorrow.
1 – 7dewott8I just remembered...I still need to read the second half of Wuthering Heights. Does anybody here like this book? I always find myself falling asleep while reading it. Also, everyone hates each other in this book, so it gets really annoying that nobody can like each other. And they keep telling each other that they're going to kill each other. GOD, IT'S SO DEPRESSING.
