Personally I don't see the point in it, lol. I like raising and battling a variety of pokemon just like most people, but once you get it to level 50 or so, your pokemon's strengths, moves, and strategies are more or less set in stone. The motivation to keep leveling dwindles then because there are no real changes left to make. Outside of ingame teams where high levels might be necessary to finish the game, I've never trained a pokemon past level 50 unless it needed to learn a specific move. It gets too repetitive after that; I get bored fast when I'm just repeatedly beating the same trainers with the same pokemon and leveling up exponentially slower. XD

I'm lucky to even have HG/SS sometimes.

Even in the past very rarely have I bothered to train anything substantially past 50, only once in an old Ruby file that I no longer have did I assemble at least a half-dozen Lv.100s, and at least 20 pokemon past 50.

Nowadays general disinterest in anything not the Pokeathalon in HG has been in effect for months. Even VR dulls my senses these days.

To veer the topic direction for a moment...

We have a friend from Japan who just had her first child a few months back and we're having her over until June 19th. How I'm going to survive, I don't know, but her baby seems to be screaming every 5 minutes. Now, I know, I shouldn't expect anything less from a baby, and I shouldn't be complaining because the mom is going through an even harder time than I ever would. But this is definitely going to put my nerves on edge. So I may be a little more irritable than usual in the next few days. Hopefully I'll settle into it soon.

Veering back on track, like Dewott, I have White, but I suck at Wi-fi battling.

Reminds me of our code red drill. We were having fun and chilling in the classroom during the drill, and then the teacher opened the door when she wasn't supposed to and got us all killed D:

That reminded me of something. In two vacations in a row, the fire alarms in the hotels I've stayed at have malfunctioned. The first was at the Walt Disney World Dolphin of all places. I was having breakfast in one of the restaurants, and the staff started going around the tables notifying people that there apparently was a fire somewhere in the hotel. In all the confusion everyone decided it best to leave the restaurant and go out into the hallway (it was raining quite heavily outside). While we were waiting for the all-clear, one of the families started talking to us. The mother said that she and her husband were in the bar and had left the children in the room when the fire alarms apparently went off.

The second time was in my recent weekend in Toronto. I was getting dressed when the fire alarms went off, and it rather conveniently started raining as soon as we got outside. A couple of minutes after the fire trucks came, we were given the all-clear, and I guess there was no fire judging by how quick it was. The fire chief's truck accidentally went to the wrong hotel, and a taxi happened to pull in while the fire trucks were there.

It ought to suck to join the Toronto fire department only to be called into a malfunctioning fire alarm on the outskirts of the city.

One time I was at a aprty in a church basement, and they had an alarm system that had a box on one corner, and some reflector on the opposite corner that used a laser beam to find smoke particles. Well, someone rthought it was a good idea to put streamers in front of it. Took them two times to figure out the problem.

Okay, I don't know why I'm posting this at 2:30 in the morning, but I had my first behind the wheel experience today (A few days after getting my permit and 100% on the written exam). After writing a total of 21 exam papers for my school, I'm finally enjoying summer! It feels so good just hanging around and doing whatever you want without restrictions.

Anyway, my parents issued me a Visa card for my 16th birthday, and I am going to get a new mobile phone soon. I'm also going to hold a party for my friends sometime during next week, so my summer is already packed! What about you guys?

Well... To be honest I'm sure someone worse would have come along if Hitler was gone. The more effective solution would be taking out Germany early (and motivating other nations to do so), thus ending the Holocaust before it could nearly as much damage, and still eliminating many of the (sadly common) anti-Jew sentiments of the day.

[Yes, this response was in no way needed.]

Aspell!

Though, I must confess that was a weird practice.

So yesterday I got a PS3.

I think it would be a lot better if I had a better TV than a 19" 4:3 CRT.

I mean, the first game I played was NFS Hot Pursuit, and that has huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge letterbox bars on the top and bottom, so the game field itself is extremely small. Is it really that hard to write a few lines of code to scale the resolution to a 4:3 ratio?

Funny, my friend has Hot Pursuit 2 on her PS2 on a 19" 4:3. The aspect ratio is fine, but the TV's res is so tiny that it's impossible to see anything, especially on multiplayer.

The contrast setting is also too high so that makes it even harder to see.

Although if you wanna decently play NFSHP you'll want a plasmascreen. Some things (especially the Las Vegas tracks) are even hard to see on an LCD.

So, Spirit is permanently leaving tomorrow at 5:00 AM to his home country. I feel really down at having to say goodbye to one of my best friends. I've known him for at least five years and we've both grown up together. I hope he'll be able to visit me sometime during the holidays.

I asked him to hang out with me today for the last time, but he apologized and said that he is really busy with packing and buying missing stuff. I have just contacted him and asked him to post a farewell on VR, but he might or might not have the time to do that.

Aw, man. I'm gonna miss the guy. I remember the first time we talked on PokeZam and how happy he was when I gave him a promotion of a moderator. He was always a guy would knew the rules and was able to help anyone on the forums. I hope he'll come back soon.

Today we received our report cards from school, and I am so freakin' happy at the results! Both my term 1 and term 2 grades (the latter including exam marks) were averaged together to give my final grade for the year. And guess what? I got A's in all 11 subjects, making me the highest achiever in grade 10! I received book coupons worth $210 to spend in the largest book store in the UAE, which is great. And the most important part is that I did NOT act arrogant about it, since I really don't like that attitude.

Today was my actual last day and I didn't bother to show up since I knew I didn't have to do anything.

What's ironic is that my school called up yesterday despite that I wasn't supposed to show due to make ups but they didn't call today.

I pretty much spend in a day camp at a university this week. I get to learn engineering and do cool projects too such as setting my hand on fire and light the balloons on fire.

I just returned from a two-day trip to another 'state' in the UAE, and it was really awesome. We spent the night at a fantastic hotel which overlooks the mountains, and offers a delicious breakfast buffet as well as fun water slides. Our car almost ran out of petrol on the journey (with 10km's worth of petrol remaining), since the whole trip was at least two hours from my house to the hotel. I must say, though: buying food and drinks from there is damn expensive! A 0.5L bottle of water, for example, was at least five times more expensive than the traditional price. o_O

I'm honestly not very interested in engineering, but some parts of it do fascinate me.

I saw Cars 2 today and I'm very disappointed this probably is the worst film pixar has ever made.

I think it's also pretty obvious that only reason they came out with the film is so they can sell more cars products and toys so Disney can continue to make unnecessary squeals to there classics.

Yes... making unnecessary to their classics is the meaning of life to Disney.

But I don't understand all the hype about Cars. It only had one mediocre racing game, and the cars didn't even transform or anything.
