We did a lot this week. Younger grades started cleaning all school campuses and the areas around it and provided all sorts of plastics to the art teacher. Along with his students, they are making all sorts of art models. Other grades planted trees and we, elder grades, made a presentation. We also requested our headmaster to make a contract with a recycling company to send to it all of the school's unneeded papers. He agreed. We definitely did a lot this year.

I got my progress report today too. It's my worst one yet. 2.83 GPA. Mostly due to me slacking off and not doing homework.
The thing that ticked my parents off was that they know I have more potential but I'm lazy.
It's just that the material they teach me I understand at first then they go over the same thing for 4 days. It's just so easy for me...
Anyone doing anything for Easter? We're going to my grandma's house at noon. Everyone is going to church. I'd go but I'm not interested in it and agnostic.

School days are starting to become too boring. And now I'm starting to feel more nervous as the final exams quickly approach us. Here's a break-down of all the papers which I'll be writing:
Three papers for Physics
Three papers for Chemistry
Three papers for Biology
Three papers for ICT
Two papers for Business
Two papers for Maths
Two papers for English Language
One paper for Arabic Language
One paper for Theology
One paper for English Literature
Yeah, it's a little too much. =/
o.O That's a lot of paper to write. And yeah I agree with you with school getting boring. I blame the warm weather and the fact that I am focusing on preparing myself when I graduate from high school. I find that school sometimes don't help you prepare much for living your life to the fullest.
Happy Easter everyone! I have a new laptop since the old one broke. >_< The lifetime of the laptops are usually about 3 years. Also about relating to Easter, why are there bunnies represent as Easter? What does eggs have to do with bunnies? Though I saw a toy bunny pooping jelly beans somewhere.

that's pretty normal. supposedly your long-term memory doesn't develop until you're 6 or 7 or something like that

I wanted to go the gym today, but although it is so close to my house, I felt too lazy to proceed with my decision. Sometimes, I hate my laziness. I have to force myself tomorrow just for the sake of it.
|
|
Ahh. Today I went to the gym to exercise. When I came back, I did some homework and went to bed early. My word, I think I just had the most productive day of my life.
|
I actually worked out lately and got quite a bit of arm muscle, I can curl 20 pound weights. And my legs are already fat. Unfortunately my shoulders and torso are super skinny, and even though I eat crap all day I don't gain any weight. xD But I am trying to work out my shoulder muscle, too.
|
I won't be able to train any time soon sadly. My Business Studies paper (1) is in two days D:
|
|
Rather than worrying about working out, I am supposed to focus on eating more since I am too underweight. I need at least an increase of 10 kg.

I am currently suffering from a very strong flu; not only is my nose runny, my dry coughs are killing my throat and chest. I am taking three different medicines prescribed by my aunt (who happens to be a doctor), but my condition is not improving. If things continue like that, then I will be forced to remain absent for school - something which is good and bad during this time. =/

I'm gonna double post because I need to update this thread with something:
Remember when I mentioned a couple of pages ago that I was sick? Well, it turns out that I'm suffering from acute bronchitis (which is NOT caused by smoking). My nose is runny, my coughs are extremely dry/violent, my throat and chest are aching, and I am running short of breath. This disease is caused by a virus, which means that medicines will not help to cure it. I'm using painkillers, sleep-inducing tablets and Ventolin Evohaler to ease the pain a little bit, but I'm starting to lose my voice. My doctor said this is a sign of early recovery, so I REALLY hope the disease will be gone within a week. My final exams are just around the corner ._.
I know it is not the place, but happy birthday Anathema. Good luck tomorrow in both of your papers, and hope you do well. I expect you to wish me good luck in two weeks when my finals start. ![]()
Speaking of finals, I finished revising for six subjects, with only four remaining. I am still not sure what to study next.
Thanks Spirit
and of course I will xD
Wow, hectic week ahead of me..
Long math paper, physics practical, physics multiple choice, chinese listening, chinese continuous writing, english directed writing/composition
D:
Ahh, two more weeks, two more weeks and the poop will stop falling from the sky.
I don't know about you guys but I'm going to petition to ban children 3-7 years old from church. Today some little kids escaped their pew and were running around the back of the church during mass.

Good idea, I had a kid (didn't even know who he was) all over my arm during the sermon at my church today.

I hate children like that who are always running around. ><
But what I hate even more is when their parents put them on leashes. It jsut looks cruel. It's like they're treating their children as dogs.
I remember when I was at the park, I saw this lady who had her 2 year old daughter on a leash, and the little girl would run to pick flowers, but the mother would pull her back before she could. Then she was like dragging her against her will.....

I probably was. But that could have been avoided if I was banned from Church. That's my argument on it :3

I used to love kids and always wanted to have a younger baby brother. But since the last two years, I started hating this idea. I don't think I am suitable for taking care of kids.

That would be against the law´s in Austria.....
Seriously,WTF? |
I used to be the kid who is hyper and went around places and wound up being in a leash.
But then I calm down later on.
I used to feel uncomfortable around younger kids especially babies because I really don't know how to react around them, but after working in a daycare I got comfortable.
Holy crap, my vocal cords are trashed from last night. I went to the Symphony X concert and Powerglove was there. Rocked out to the Pokemon theme song, Those who Fight Further, and every song from Final Fantasy IV. I don't think I've shouted so loud for so long ever in my life!
EDIT:
Video uploads on my YouTube and a couple of pics too:
Powerglove's awesome stage prop
Russell Allen and Michael Romeo taking center stage
Symphony X taking a bow after their encore
=D
Dear members,
I'm still very new here. I'm afraid to post, really, due to the firmness of the rules, but I will try to abide by them and hopefully enjoy this site. Is this the thread where anything can be discussed, including casual pokemon talk and battle at the same time? I saw the official thread for pokemon battling and trading, but I didn't know how to reply. I like to interact with other trainers, and get to know them before I engage in a battle. I guess it's because I'm new that I'm having such a dilema. Anyway, I hope to have a good time here.

So anyway, I am so excited tomorrow for the mosaic festival. It's like a fair where students sell food and artwork they make to the general public and there are performances. I will plan to help out and take pictures as well too!

hmmm.... so apparently tomorrow the world as we know it will come to an end...
I'm not sure if I should laugh, or be worried, or rejoice.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I really can't wait to leave this screwed up world legally, however, I don't quite think that mankind has that kind of knowlege of when the world will end... just saying.
Edit: Just disregard this... I'm just thinking out loud. I saw an article as I was on my way here about the world ending...

This weekend my church was having a weekend-long carnival. I went today since my boy scout troop was on trash duty (Yay -.-) ansd I only saw two of my -372 friends. One was with her boyfriend, the other was with her group of friends who would have killed me if nobody else was around (You probably think I'm joking...). All in all it was a waste of my time.
But it didn't start raining cats when I finished everything on my to-do list so I can assume the world is not going to end.

Sounds like something I'd personally be interested in. What are you planning to do if you're going to participate?
