"Ahh..." George said as he opened his mouth.

The examiner swabbed the inside of George's mouth then stucked the swab in a solution. "You'll be fine."

"Good." George said as he nodded slightly.

"Tell Claudia she'll be fine too. She seemed nervous." The examiner opened the door

George left and sat down next to Claudia. "Your fine too."

"Really? You're sure?" Claudia looked at him worried.

"Yeah. We should probably finish punishing these kids." George said as he opened the door for her.

"Thank you." Claudia walked out. She didn't want anthrax in her system again.

"Alright kids. Fill out these papers then go meet with your lawyers in the main office." George stated.

"Okay." Lance sounded unwilling but filled the paperwork out. Jeff did the same only the decided to keep his mouth shut.

George directed them to the main office when they were finished. He told them to wait for their lawyers then they could leave and wait for a future court date.

Melrose came up to get Lance. Rob was conversing with Claudia. "GET OUT!" Claudia yelled at the end of the conversation

George came over in suspicion. "Stop raising too much attention. Rob if you would take these kids back that would be great."

"It's standard with us." Rob chuckled a little. "I have to get ready for court. You welcome to sit in." Claudia said with a little bit of tension.

George followed Claudia and got ready for court as well.

Claudia shuffled together some papers and went to the courtroom.

George ripped out some of his notes. He followed Claudia into the courtroom.

"This is the arreinment case of one of the Rachellio's a.k.a our dead girl's daddy." Claudia whispered as she walked down the center aisle toward the judge.

"Okay." George nodded as he followed Claudia.

Claudia immediately went up to the judge.

George stood slightly to her left but also behind her. He wasn't good at this stuff so he decided not to say anything.

"I apologize for being late." Claudia promptly left the judge's stand and set her papers on down. "Sit down until the end of this." Claudia whispered to George. "Your Honor, the defendant has a perfectly logical reason to leave the country. Mexico is where his "friends" own dog fighting rinks, and Canada is where the liqour he imports comes from. People request remand."

George sat down silently in the benches.

The other lawyer countered, "Your Honor, my client has a missing daughter. Why would he go to a different country without her?" Claudia remembered the father wasn't contacted, but she couldn't tell evidence from another case. "How do we know he didn't send her to another country?"

George was surprised by seeing Claudia's skill. He looked up at her with surprised eyes.

"This is proposterious." The lawyer yelled at the judge in anger. Claudia, calm as could be said, "It's absolutely possible." "People's request for remand is granted. Case dismissed." Claudia grabbed her papers and looked at George. "Let's go."

"Alright." George followed her quickly. "So what's next?"

"We figure out who killed his daughter." Claudia walked out of the courtroom and took a deep breath

"Wait... I was hardly..." George mumbled as he watched her walk away. He sighed then tried to catch up with her.

"You were hardly what?" Claudia turned around and smiled that fake smile all lawyers had.

"Paying attention." George mumbled as he looked down.

"Come on. I'll explain." Claudia grabbed his arm and pulled him down to the medical examiner.

George kind of dragged along and followed her down to the medical office.

As soon as Claudia got down there, She heard a mumble from the room. "You're not the most unusual death I've ever seen." Claudia opened up the door. "Doc, hope that's good."

"What do we have here?" George mumbled.

"She didn't ingest the poison. She inhaled it, but Claudia was right about cyanide. The only gaseous form is in a medical ward in the military." The doctor pulled a small film canister. "This much cyanide can kill 4 people."

"Put that away. I'd rather not have 4 people dead in here." George said. He always hated chemicals.

"It's not filled with cyanide. That's how much she inhaled. Poor girl must've choked on it." The examiner opened up the film canister to reveal a roll of film. "I'm suprised Claudia's not scared."

"Me too." George said as he turned to Claudia.

"I'm sorry that I'm not afraid of poison. I've been poisoned four times. I feel it's a stupid fear for me." Claudia suddenly realized she had never told George about this fear.

"Well alright then." George said as he shifted back to the doctor.

THe doctor look at the girl. "She had asthma." He went into her pocket. "Inhaler."

"Indeed." George said as he looked around the room. He was getting bored.

"The cyanide was put in the inhaler." The doctor carefully threw the inhaler in medical waste.

"Was it now." George said as his attention went back to the doctor.

"Someone switched the oxygen out. It had to have taken a precise hand." The doctor also reached in and took out her wallet. "She also had anemia." "So she was going to die?" Claudia looks curiously at the doctor. "Yes."

"Then check her medical files. Some past injuries might have something to do with this. Check who she was with too." George ordered.

"Regular doctor's Thomas Reddler." The doctor handed George a file.

"We should question him. Let's go Claudia." George said quickly. He wanted to get out of the room. He was terrified of hazardous chemicals.

Claudia followed. "Reddler? He has to be new or a speciality doctor."

"Yes." George said as they walked to the car.

Claudia got in and started racking her brain. "Low white blood cells. She was probably born with it."

"Ah. Where's this Thomas guy at anyways?" George asked.

"Crosser's Street. Third right." Claudia shifted to get comfortable

George got to the third right but then he noticed a car speeding away from a bank. He turned on his siren and chased after it.

Claudia looked at George unaware of what was going on.

"It appears to be a bank robbery. Sorry to get side tracked. It's just our duty." George said as he floored the pedal.

"Oh. I understand. I had no idea there was bank robbery." Claudia sat up alertly.

"Have the gun ready if things get heated." George said as he pulled up behind the car.

Claudia pulled out a gun and waited for more orders.

"Shoot out the back left wheel." George said as he gave her more room to aim at.

Claudia did as she was told.

The car suddenly spun out of control. George slowed down and waited till the other car stopped then he exited out of the car with his gun pointed at the drivers seat. "Hands out of the car!" George yelled.

Claudia gulped in impression. She thought, "I shouldn't make George mad."

"Out of the car with your hands in the air!" George aimed the gun at the driver. "NOW!"

(fixed) Claudia regained from the intial shock and looked at the situation analysistically

The driver slowly exited the car. He put his hands in the air and responded with Georges demands. George quickly ran over and handcuffed the man.

Claudia was on edge her seqt staring at George's calm demeanor.

George picked him up and threw him into the back seat. George then got in the front.

"You impress me." Claudia admitted. She hoped it wouldn't be an awkward ride to the station.

"Yeah. Thanks." George said as he drove towards the station.

"Welcome." Claudia could feel the uncomfortablity set in.

George looked behind to see the criminal staring at him. They arrived at the station.

Claudia got out and looked the guys.

George got out and grabbed the guy in the back.

"Why would you rob the bank? I never understood why someone would go in blindly and rob a bank. That's stupid." Claudia was thinking out loud as she came in.

George silently moved the man into the station. He placed him on a chair and told him to sit.

Claudia stayed there looking at the man. She simply shook her head.

"Ya we're going to need a free cell." George asked the lady at the counter.

"Right this way." The lady led them to an empty cell and unlocked it.

George dragged the guy down the hall and threw him into the cell. "Alright we have another job to do." George said to Claudia.

"Alright." Claudia followed George

George sat down in the drivers seat. He tapped the beat to his favourite song on the steering wheel.

Claudia got in andcurled up against the seat.

"Hey." George said as he looked at her.

"Hey." Claudia looked back at George and smiled.

"Your the best partner I ever had." George said smiling.

"Thanks. I would say the same thing, but you kind of win my default." Claudia chuckled a little and rested her hand of her opposite shoulder.

George chuckled with her. He looked at her and for the first time he felt different.

Claudia sat up straight and smiled. "So where are we going?" Claudia brushed her hair out of her eyes.

"Crosser's Street. For some Thomas guy." George said as he remember what Claudia said awhile ago.

"Oh yeah. My bad." Claudia faced out the window. She thought about the doctor.

George quickly drove off to the Doctor's house.

Claudia got out. "Thomas Reddler is married." She was suprised at the shape his yard was in.

"Wow. Doesn't look like a doctor's yard." George chuckled as he walked up to the door.

Thomas's wife came to the door. She was tall and tan with black hair. "May I help you?" She kept the door covering the left side of her face.

"Where's your husband?" George said sternly without hesitation. His sunglasses added more intimidation to him.

"Right this way." She opened the door all the way to show a bruise around her eye. "Did he do that to you?" Claudia asked.

"If he did that's 6 months." George quickly added.

"No, I fell. Thomas!!" The lady turned away and waited for her husband to come down. "I'm coming, Darla." Thomas came down.
