I feel like my avatar is a bit old now, but I don't know what to change it to. I'll think about it later on. =P

Anyways, I've tried booking online tickets for Harry Potter 7 Part 1 tomorrow in a close mall, and it turns out all the tickets have been sold! I'm now trying to purchase tickets from a mall further away, as I've been told it has empty seats. Hopefully, I'll succeed and watch Harry Potter tomorrow.

Here's my grades right now:

Biology P: 101.2% (A+)
Tests are insanely easy, since the short answer questions are considered as extra points.
World Geography: 93% (A-)
Our teacher is an idiot. Well, not really, but she just doesn't know how to teach.
Chinese I: 98.3% (A+)
A very easy class. 'Nuff said.
Geometry Honors: 92.5% (A-)
A difficult class, even considering math is my strong point.
Marching Band: 92.5% (A-)
Another difficult class, but I can get by easier without too much trouble as Math.
English I Honors: 88.5% (B+)
English is not my strong point, and the class is difficult.

Since I have a month to finish the semester, I might be able to stretch a straight-A report card again.

Today was a very busy day. We woke up and bought a sheep early in the morning. Then we sent it to a restaurant, where it got cooked for 4 hours with rice. We took it, as a whole, and went to the desert with all of our friends and stayed there all the day until night. The weather was really nice; not sunny, a cool breeze but the sand was fine. We played there and drove all the day. Driving was awesome, and the sheep was delicious!

On the way back home, we saw a person who got hit by a car and was dead. It was a bad thing to see.

Nice. I got my grades back, and after two horrible years of bad grades at another, slightly harder school, these were rather refreshing.

Intro to Calculus - 99
I'm really happy about this; math has always been one of my strong points and to be getting a high grade means good stuff for the future.

English 11 - 94
Eh, I made a few goofs here and there, but it's still a very respectful grade.

French III - 90
I was actually concerned that I would get a lower grade than this, since my quiz average was meh and my test score was bleh.

Modern History - 90
I missed a few homework assignments, which count a lot, so I'm happy that it was above 90.

Physics - 100
This I was really pleased about. For the first time in two years, I'm taking a science course I like and now I'm doing well. Woo.

Religion 11 - 90
This class I do really well in, but on one test I couldn't remember the answer to a question (which was worth 20 points) and some of my papers were less than satisfactory. But it's still pretty good, right?

For background, I'm going to the second academically toughest high school in New York City (the one that I transferred out of was the first, and although the work wasn't that much harder, there were many more classes that a student was required to take than here at my new school and as such the strain was much higher). Make of that what you will.

It's funny how most people either have too little snow or too much snow. There's never a right amount of that stuff I guess. o3o

It snowed last year here down in Texas, and it was pretty hard the couple days that it did. Maybe it will again this year. It didn't stick to the ground last year but 2 years ago we actually were able to make a mini snowman because it did for a little while. :3

I did go to Japan during winter break. I swear, it seemed to be just the right amount. Enough to make a snowman, not enough to clog the streets, and it was a beautiful sight...I was so eager to jump into the snow and fire snowballs...and my plans were so intent on it...

...and then I got sick and had to stay inside doing nothing all winter break. >.>

I don't mind the amount of snow, it's just when I have to constantly shovel it is when I start to be ticked off. It also makes me mad when the snow is almost past my knee's and they still expect everyone to arrive on time at school.

I haven't seen any snow yet. But when snow does come to where I live, there are tons of it.

And SK, you are right. It's usually - not enough to close school for the day or too much to the part where I am forced to shovel my driveway for an hour.

2. We got snow too! It's been snowing all day yet next to none of it stayed!

You guys are lucky. We get sandstorms here that sometimes are too strong that can get a man out of the ground. I saw snow once when I was in Lebanon. It was amazing. I built snowmen and played with my cousins with snowballs. The snow was so... AMAZING!
Now, I am stuck in Dubai, and the weather here is too depressing that we actually get excited when it rains! I know. That is stupid, but when you are living in a desert, it is not. I wish I can go to Lebanon in winter to see the snow, again. I wish.

I also noticed Fubab's comment about seeing dead people. I have seen a good number of dead people that now I am used to it, unfortunately. However, I find it strange that I still get mad when I see an animal getting killed by human.

I don't really like to eat sheep, but the people around me do. Also, other than driving/safaris/dune bashing, there are limited stuff to do in deserts. That's why I find them kinda boring.

Well, you are lucky to have seen natural snow once in your life. The only time I actually saw snow was... in Ski Dubai, which is artificial. Back in my village in Syria, the temperature now is around -7 Celsius (it gets much lower later on), and snow is just around the corner. When I once went over there during the winter, it was perhaps my best visit ever; the sun would set at 4:30 PM, and by 5:00 PM, the sky would turn really dark. We stayed at my favourite aunt's house and had a lot of fun with my cousins. Although there was no snow, I loved the whole experience, as it was new to me. I still remember seeing the beginnings of ice forming on trees, especially in the day when we were going to the airport, when the temperature was -2 Celsius. All in all, this was one unforgettable trip in every sense of the word, and I hope I can repeat it soon.

I just returned from watching Harry Potter 7 Part 1, and it was AMAZING! I mean, it was so dark and evil yet there was plenty of humour in it, too. I think it's one of the best movies of 2010.

(Note that were some few, minor stuff which I didn't like in the movie, so that shows I'm not just giving a biased opinion.)

Now, I'm highly anticipating the last movie in the series, as it will be extremely spectacular with all the action in the final battle. It's going to be epic!

The 1st movie comes out tonight and the 2nd one next year I believe. This allows for more elaboration and an overall better movie - Maybe they will eventually put them together for a big 4-5 hour movie, lol. That would be pretty epic.

I think I'm going to see it tomorrow but I know I will have seen it by the end of next week.

The review Shadow gave to Harry Potter 7 made me more excited to watch it. There should be lots of action to make up for Harry Potter 6 which I just watch. The movie was boring which barely have any action and mainly focuses on the romance. I was really mad at the ending because

Ending of the 6th movie
After Snape killed Dumbledore the deatheater and him just ran off and Harry attempt weakly to kill Snape.

What really makes me mad is the ending. The book has a lot of action with battles but the movie there were none. The battle could have made the movie a lot more interested but instead it fell flat for me.

Lately I been busy with being in the school play, IB projects, and setting up open house for the 8th graders. The open house was really fun. There are the Video game booth, NHS, and a lot of clubs. I stayed almost 12 hours in school to help out but it was worth it. To pass the time, I did homework for English and play Mario Kart with the video game club.

Ah yeah, HP6 was pretty crappy. I liked all the ones before it though, they were all good and re-watchable, unlike the 6th. The only part I remember from HP6 was when Harry and Dumbledore went to get one of those things in the lake or whatever, that was kinda a good part. HP7 is going to be good.

This morning I woke up to (only) 1 foot of snow and -13*C weather. It wasn't so bad even with the wind and stuff, but some kids were treating it like it was the coldest day they've ever seen. That's not even close to how cold it gets! Anyways, I was passed my ankles in snow and it was in my shoes and stuff so now my shoes are all wet and probably will be for the rest of the day.

I just returned from a journey to another 'state' in the UAE with my relatives & friends (i.e, Spirit and his family) and we had a pretty good time. We sat at a restaurant/coffee shop which had a lot of amazing views, and thankfully the temperature was cool over there; it was something around 20 degrees Celsius or even less, so some of us actually had to put on jackets/blankets. I really enjoyed everything over there except for the fact that our parents took a long time to leave, as it started to get boring at the end.

It seems most people agree that Harry Potter 6 was not as good as the other movies, although from what I heard, the book is quite different and more interesting. Surprisingly, however, the critics think it is the third best Harry Potter movie. 0_0

I'm sure that Harry Potter 7 Part 1 will not disappoint you; the whole movie has a sense of danger, uncertainty and darkness due to the events taking place outside Hogwarts. It combines action, humour and romance (which is not too heavy/silly) and is very faithful to the original book. As I mentioned earlier, that doesn't mean it is completely flawless, but for the most part, I thought they did a pretty great job on it.

I managed to get out of school 2 hours early today!!

We were supposed to have a Pep Rally later (That I'm not going to) and since I was in the gym for 3rd period, my gym teacher asked me to help them clean out the Equipment room. I helped, so he then told me that I can go to Tim Horton's or somewhere else without being unexcused. and since Gyms my last class of the day...Yeah.

Ok, for a few weeks now i've been taking a "break" from P.E. I've been going into a one man bathroom at the other end of campus and just chilling for an hour and a half! I bring snack foods and even a little T.V to watch in there, but no good things last forever.....The principal had seen my attendance records for the past few weeks and had realised i'd been to every other class except "Phs- Ed" so he called me in and yelled at me for a LONG time I mean atleast 3 periods! After all of this he just let me go! He didn't even call my mom or anything no papers, no detentions. I wonder if I just got lucky, or was that really the punishment?

I woke up early today (Saturday) to go to my accounting class in school, only to find out that my teacher wasn't there, and the classroom door was locked. Great... Imma go drown my anger in hours of brawl.

In other news I saw HP7 last night, it was pretty good.

Possible theme spoiler
It was mostly dialogue to enrich the story, not too many action scenes.

It's really rare for a teacher to be hanging out in their classroom on a weekend. I'm pretty sure they have lives outside of teaching.

Well, I kind of expected it to be like that because there's a lot of information which needs to be addressed to the audience, especially those who haven't read the books. However, in spite of that, it had a really good share of thrilling action scenes and was definitely not like Harry Potter 6 in any way.

It had a lot of action, but to say it contained non-stop action is a bit of an exaggeration, at least in my opinion.

After watching Harry Potter 7 on Thursday, I can easily say that the movie was awesome. It is all packed with action and in the same time, humor. The whole spectators were clapping when the movie started and ended, and now and then, we used to laugh at the jokes and puns used to be said. It was really amazing. On the same day, and in order to make it a very Harr Potter-ish day, I bought the book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and I already finished 10 chapters. I can say that the book is much better than the movie. It is really nice and funny.

Yesterday, I went with Shadow and his family to the other state. Strangely, it was so uncivilized compared to Dubai. The weather there is obviously much better due to the fact that it is close to the sea and in the same time it is between a range of mountains. It was a nice day overall.

I don't think it was packed with action when you compare it to Harry Potter 4, for example. True, it was tense and had a big sense of darkness and insecurity to it, but the dialogue was a bit more than the action scenes. Despite that, and as I said earlier, the movie had a really satisfactory amount of action, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it.

(Oh yeah, maybe we should start talking about other stuff beside Harry Potter now. )

So, the exams timetable was launched in my school's website. I already prepared a schedule and will start studying on Wednesday. It is really going to be a hard task. My exams will start on the fifth of December, and it is like we have 2-3 exams per day. There are few days where there are exams of subject that I don't take, so I will be free. Nevertheless, I know that I will be leaving VR throughout the examination period, which isn't a good thing. :\

Well, that's for today!

On Saturday I did a food drive with my Boy Scout troop. It was awesome going to peoples houses, taking their food, and talking to their cute puppies and kitties <3 One house even had three paper bags filled with food.

I was like <see attachment>

But when we went to one of the leaders' house to sort the stuff, it went a bit downhill.

First, they were counting wrong. I noticed that, and tried to fix their mistake. They yelled at me (Probably because I told them second graders were better at counting than them) but let me count for them.

Then the other boys, save for one who was taking the boxes to the truck, were busy eating donuts and talking like canadians ()

But that was the only bad part.

lol I had my sharpie taken away cause the teacher's said sharpies are the tools of taggers. I just laughed and got a referral and an hour detention after school. <_<

Anyways, I got the whole week off for Thanksgiving due to budget cuts in the district. It sucks for the teachers but us students couldn't be happier. X3

I'm not sure if my school has that policy, but I don't think it does. They just don't want you drawing on people.

It doesn't really apply to me, since I never bring a Sharpie to school anyways.

Definitely PRS. I've been around them for extended periods of time and got pretty loopy, probably from all of the dead brain cells. xD

We had a Physics test today, which was super easy. I am hoping for a good mark. Tomorrow I have Chemistry test. I hope it is easy.

So I've always wondered about this thing: why do schools put three different exams on a single day when they have a lot of time? Okay, two is acceptable because they're indirectly teaching students to handle a lot of work in a short period of time, but having three just kills them. Thankfully, we only have one day where we have three exams, but I still find the idea pointless. =/
