I'm not so big on movies myself. I guess it's because I'd rather go with friends, and I have non that are available at that time to go with.

Ugh, I'm so mad you guys are so lucky! The storm totally skipped Winnipeg, going just north of us. Brandon (a city a few hours drive away) got a foot of snow! I want snow so badly right now, it's so much fun to have snowball fights and build forts with. Canada <3 (<-- Got kinda random there)

We had a power outage over here at my school for like 15 minutes. When it happened all the clocks stopped and they were like 15 minutes behind.

Your clocks run off mains power? Don't they run off a single AA battery (Which can last for, like, several months)?

On a different note, the builders that have been working on my garage for the past couple of week are finished. It's been converted into an ordinary room, wood flooring, mood lighting (=D), windows, everything! It's got this awesome echo effect in it, too. We're planning on moving all our games consoles into there, and then hooking them up to our TV (We're hoping to get a decent projector in there, but we don't have the money at the moment), and then hooking that up to a pair of huge speakers that we've found while searching our attic. We'll do that when our two bean bags (YEY) and our Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter comes. It's gonna be awesome!

Change of plans: instead of watching "Hot Tub Time Machine" today, we're going to watch "The Social Network". I hope it's as good as its score on Metacritic.

The cinemas over here are going to release it on November 18th, and since this will be during a festival holiday for us, I'll most probably be able to watch the movie on the same day of its release.

Haha. I wonder what her reaction is for the 2-part finale of the series, especially Part 1 which is just around the corner. =P

We just added walls into our garage, since it wasn't fully finished. I remember while putting a piece of drywall on the ceiling to complete the building. My mom complained it was off center, grabbed a stick and started hitting it while it was still going up, It fell right on top of me and the ladder. It caused the ladder to pin me to the ground. At least it didn't weigh so much.

Oh, and you can't uninstall it, either. Stay with the old one, trust me.

That's one day before the U.S release. I read all the books and watch all the movies except the 6th movie.

Someone told a funny (but a nasty joke) in Chemistry. The teacher mention how Uranus relates to one of the elements and most people know another meaning of Uranus but then someone said

Not suitable for younger ages, open at your own risk
Why astronauts can't find Uranus? It's because it got lost in the black hole.

The whole class laughs at the joke and I was laughing really hard but it's still a really dirty joke.

Oh, and Live 2011 is okay for me. I have noticed some big glitches, and the ugly smilies, but i've fixed the smilie problem by making custom ones from the old version, plus that giant window you're getting can be collapsed by pressing this button, Nin:

Hey, I can't read Japanese well enough to have bought Black/White....plus the two were at least $20 more than HG/SS, which I couldn't afford entirely. On top of that I had been planning on getting for awhile now.
Although an old friend of mine I met up with yesterday already has the non-translated version somehow.

The Mew is a nice plus, though - I'll just treat the games as a late birfdai present to myself, and the Mews as presents from Nintendo.

I hadn't bought anything for my DS since Mario Kart and Emerald, and the money I used for HG/SS had been sitting in a jar for well over two years.

I don't think I'd go super-serious on beating them both before Black/White are fully translated, though. I like taking my time training what I have up slowly anyway.

Yeah, it might be a tough time dealing with all the Pokémon haters out there, so try to move the Pokémon stuff onto a separate USB or hard drive if they're not too large. If you want to avoid all this mess, just hide them in an unknown/unnoticeable place in your computer so that no one can notice them. Also, you could always remove the bookmarked Pokémon sites temporarily and then re-add them after the day ends.

Played some Mario Party 8, Where somehow I always predicted who was going to lose or gain a star, Whose gonna get good luck, and I lost. I also got beat up cause I cost my friend the game since I took half his coins on the last turn.

Heh, when I have friends over I delete my history of VR :u Might get a bit messy if.....

But yeah it's a family computer. >_> They wouldn't tell my friends about being on VR either (although all they know is that it's Pokemon related). I am able to stay logged in though.

I don't have friends over too often and when I do, it doesn't matter because I have my own computer and just about all my friends like Pokémon and the ones that don't like Pokémon don't mind it.

*sigh*

Today's been real tough on me today...I had a test in all of my classes today (the Math test I think I bombed, it was so hard), left my locker key in my English teacher's room, and I feel like my brain feels like it's about to explode. *collapses to exhaustion*

On topic, I don't have friends over. About once every quarter year I see them. That's how anti-social I am. Thus, my anti-sociality makes VR unkown to everybody, except for my friend who comes to VR occasionally.

I don't have friends over at all. I never had one over for my birthday or just to hang out. o_O
I just feel uncomfortable because none of them know I like Pokemon and I have a bunch of Pokemon stuff all over my room. So I'm really uncomfortable with friends coming over...

All of my real friends know I love Pokemon, and if they don't accept it then they aren't my friends. They all know that I'm a staff member on here, the only people that don't know are my mom and my other guardians. My dad knows, but he doesn't really care.

Same with me. Altough a higher percentage of my circle friends (which there are only about 4) know about it. Half of that percentage thinks it weird that I still like it.

I really dislike those kinds of people, even if they are your friends. People have spread embarassing stuff about me too (except they weren't my friends and they weren't actually true) and now people think that I'm even stranger than they originally thought. It just repulses me that people would do such annoying things. Kind of ruins the view of decent humanity. :/

I hate people who are really shallow and judge people by their looks and what type of person they are from the surface. Why can't people take the time to know someone? It made me really mad when people pick on someone because they don't fit in "the normal people" or because they are different. I get picked from time to time but I keep thinking to myself that these people are wasting their time trying to be popular and to follow the crowd. What's in always keep changing and copying other people will lose your identify that made you unique.

You, Kirby, pretty much paraphrased my life story. I'm always getting picked on by the populars. People look at me and say: "Oh, it's that smart guy" or "Oh, he's really...weird." The first quote may seem like a compliment, but people say it disgustingly. People hate me for it. My own friend has said, "If you get an A on this test, I'm going to be so repulsed at you." It was a particularly hard test...but to be repulsed? Sometimes I question if my friends are better off without me. I sometimes wonder if I actually bring them more suffering than I do joy.

I tried not to take much offense from them...but I always end up getting upset in the end. I had an appointment with my counselor set up by my parents to get me settled into high school. And yet again I've heard the obvious truth...

"As you get into high school, you're going to have to be more social." and the counterargument, "He's always been very immature. His maturity gain has been extremely slow; his maturity is about the same as it was 3 years ago." And it's the truth. I've always been very immature. Thus, I lack the social skills of people my age. Even if I am younger than most people in my grade. Need proof? I get nervous when I try to call someone I've never called before, I get nervous when I don't know which door is the one I'm supposed to go through, and sometimes I question everything I say, considering if it's the truth.

Heck, I get nervous talking to someone, making sure I don't say anything. And why? I've seen the populars. I've seen how happy they are. I've seen what makes them happy. What is that? The humility of other people. And that's a pathway I can't go down, no matter what way I think. But am I doomed to forever remain a solitary person just because the popular road is the road leading to what I feel is despair. Reminds me of a poem... The Road Not Taken always pops up in times like this.

Phew...that was a long rant. I probably shouldnt've typed so much, but I often lose track of how much I write.

Seems like I'm much more social in real life than what I thought compared to all of you; thankfully, I'm very well-known in school for many reasons, and I have a fairly big group of friends who I talk and laugh with during classes/breaks. I always try my best to maintain my reputation in school as a hard-working, dedicated student despite a few students saying I am a nerd, which I'm not fond of. I still 'chill around' and do little mischievous stuff from time to time with my friends to prove these people wrong, and now I'm finally looked upon as a 'cool' and popular student.

Now, this is not to brag about myself or how I rank in school. It's just to show that no matter how difficult life in school can be for you, it will start changing sooner or later to the best. Looking back at when I first joined my school in 2008 (and being treated as a stranger and a nerd), I can confidentially say that the change happened to me.

Not meaning to make matters worse for you, but I'd be pretty depressed if I had no friend to talk or hang out with.

My parents don't know what "Victory Road" is other than being a Pokémon-related site, and they're not really interested in what position I hold over here. They just think that it does not concern them, and that there is no benefit for them specifically to know what it is.

You know I feel for you Grass. I know exactly what it's like but on the opposite end. We've talked about this before and i'll always back you up no matter what, I promise! I'm intireally different on the other hand. I'm the popular guy that everyone knows and loves, I have lots of friends, I get all the girls, i'm captain of the football team, all the teachers love me, but all that jazz isn't what it's made to be. I have as many problems as the next guy but if ANYBODY found out I was on a Pokemon forum i'd be outcasted by all of my friends and I know it because everywhere you go in life there's always gonna be the people that judge and hate on you for things you like, and face it Pokemons not the most smiled upon franchise by highschool kids you know.People are cruel and mean everywhere you go thats life but it's the people who don't like you for stupid reasons that bothers me. This guy who I guess you could call a "smart/weird" kid judges me every day just because I'm on the football team and he's not, and i'm the type of person who just likes everyone no matter what so I don't say anything rude back but I just let it slide. I guess i'm just one of the those rare people who don't judge others for how they look, act, dress, talk, etc.

I think I'm one of those, too. I hate when people judge someone by their appearance without getting to know them first. It's as if any person who is not 'usual' or 'normal' has to be an outsider. :/

I couldn't say it any better Shadow, but to add people shouldn't say things about the person that said something to them because it makes them no better than the judgemental person. Life isn't like that though thats why there are so many fights and wars because people don't know how to let things go.

Well, we're getting our progress reports this Saturday, so it's natural that we'll get few homeworks around this time. Also, I never expected myself to say this, but I actually prefer to get at least a single homework per day (not a long one, though) so that I do not have too much spare time which I don't know how to use.

Going back to that "school rank" topic for a bit, I happen to be considered as one of those really popular girls that not many people like, but I'm one of them everyone loves because I'm quite the nerd yet all of my friends are in that "popular" group. There's the smart girl, the pretty girl, the atheletic girl and so on and they see me as the atheletic girl and almost the smart one. Overall, that means that I fit perfectly into almost every school group and hold a very good reputation as being "That sprinter" and "The girl who gets in the 90s on her tests all the time". I really don't mind that.

Back to the current topic, I've actaully been getting a lot more work because the teachers need more proof of our grades. Today I got my social studies test back and my score wasn't in the 90s D:... I got 100%~! Sadly, my GPA so far in social studies is only 87.2. Ew.

Those ones bug me a lot. they mock the fact I don't have a girlfriend, an saying I'm such a nobody since no one talks to me.
All I say is, "Then why are YOU talking to me?!"

I have had increased school work this week although it is only reviews. Lots of tests coming up, but when I start taking those (there are 2 tomorrow) my rate of homework will dramatically decrease.

Dramatically Decrease... Sounds like a cool band name. Maybe if you were a positive person, Dramatically Increase. o3o But now I just made it sexual.

You all probably think I am on something. Mixture of candy and chocolate milk I suppose.

Also, it is 60 degrees with no sun outside. Epic freaking win.

Aw man, I have a full day Monday...But I shouldn't complain. I get out of school an hour early since I have a last period spare. So instead of sitting at school, out of class doing nothing, I just go home. It's really good.

Though we weren't classified as our own army and just a division off the British, we did fight in the war. Also the Canadian's took two areas that were somewhat Vital in WWI that were thought to be impossible by the allies. Taking them with less than half the Number of British and French soliders it took, Them being Vimy Ridge and Passhendale(Botched the spelling there).
And not just WWI. We also took some Minor parts in WWII, if it wasn't for us. D-Day could've been a failure since it was our loss at Dieppe that helped improve the Landings.
I have too much time alone.

Then it goes both ways. I know nothing about American government and if it wasn't for the media I wouldn't know who the President was ATM. As far as their geography, I couldn't name 1/4 of their states. Too many I say!

You speak for me, too. I always get confused whether *insert name over here* is a city or a state. Because Grography is confusing and requires a good deal of memorization, I dropped it (and History, for that matter) in grade 9. History especially requires lots of writing/doing assignments, and those are extra burdens which I don't really need alongside English Literature and the likes.

Also, I agree with Spirit; because I study in a British school, I got used to the measurements which they use. Now, if I am checking out anything (like a recipe) which uses the American measurements, I need to go and start converting them.
