For now, Serious is a closed group because there are a lot of users who aren't mature enough to have a serious discussion (No offense to any of you). But it's not like you're missing out on anything, it's the least activegroup on the forums.

I like essays normally. They let me express my opinions, and I normally score highlyon them. Like, I got a 93 for my graduation project essay. It would have been a 100, but I'm terrible at organizing paragraphs. I just write as I think.

It depends on the topic. Sometimes I like the topic that I actually write a lot. Sometimes I hate the topic that I run out of ideas.

I love essays, they're fun. There I said it. So school has been really busy for me, I didn't have very much time for VR, because my report of Lester B. Pearson took up all my computer time. *Kicks Lester*

So Lux is going to become more active? YAYAY.

Oh, and I HAVE to mention this:
Today I was sitting a test, testing me on vocabulary, mathematics and patterns (Like, looking at a pattern and finding the matching one from a list). In the vocabulary part of the test we were given a word, and then from the four other words to the side we had to pick the one that matched the first one's definition. Now get this:
On of the words was "Abridge". The four options were "Lengthen", "Shorten", "Mixed-Up" and... "Card Game". WIN.

Actually, only on long, arduous writing projects that end up being pages and pages long, I try to finish earlier. For example, I had to write up a poetry notebook analyzing real poems, and then create my own. It ended up being over 60 pages. XO

Thank Arceus school is out for 2 and a half days!

Even though it was a half-day, today really sucked. I woke up "late" (as in, half an hour earlier than usual); I specifically set my alarm for 4 am so I can do my homework because I didn't feel like doing them the day before. The alarm didn't go off, but by some miracle I woke up at my regular time. But that wasn't enough to finish my homework. Then I got my tests back in math with crap-tastic grades. >_<

And Lux, I'd love to be playing Black right now, but I can't speak Japanese and don't want to wander through the game having no idea what to do. The 3D effects are amazing!! Can't wait for the American release!

I can't read Japanese either, but after a while you catch on, especially if you're a Pokémon game veteran, because it follows the same format.
And, I've found a glitch too that I had to turn off my DS and I hadn't saved for a long time. -_-

I think if you go all the way to the west of Hiun City (Where the port is diagonal) there's a lady outside a boat. Take that boat, go around the tower (Round the back), and then head inside the building (There are Plasma grunts along the way). Go through the hallway and you'll be in the room with Victini.

Now that I'm in Year 10, I'm studying for my GCSEs. I'm taking Maths, English and Core Science (Obviously), English Literature, Additional Science, Drama, German, Product Design and ICT BTEC.

So you take one English, instead of both Language and Literature? Why do you take both Core and Additional? I take Extended/Supplement straight away, which covers both the core and the extended version. It also seems that IGCSE is bit different, since I don't take science but 3 different ones.

YOU DARE ASK THAT QUESTION?! Heh-heh. I'll explain it:

Story: Mickey Mouse stumbles upon a mirror in his bedroom/house. Being the miscevious mouse he is, he goes through it and stumbles into the house of the magician Yensid. As Yensid returns to his "sleeping quarters" Mickey finds the project he was working on. It was a place for forggoten and dropped cartoon characters(them being a BIIIIIG part of the game). Mickey plays with the paint and thinner used to make it, trying to paint himself. Instead, he unleashes the Phantom Blot, A.K.A the devil in paint form. Mickey runs away and back through his magic mirror. He then went through his entire life cycle; from 1928 to 2010. The Phantom Blot was furious at Mickey, and steals him from his house while he was slepping(******.....), briging him into the place of forgotten characters, known as the "Wasetland". The paradise was now a barren wasetland, all because of Mickey. Being thrown into the place, he awoke on a table, being stapled to it with metalbars. He looked up and saw a Pocket Knife, with a robotic eye on it. He then saw the Mad Doctor(From an OLD Mickey Mouse cartoon;1930), who, at first, looked like he was trying to kill him. The pocket knife awoke, and, tried to kill Mickey, with a chainsaw, a drill and a knife. Then, the pocket knife drew back, and brung out a plunger. It tried to suck out Mickey's heart; it being the only way out of the Wasetland. Mickey then broke out of the metal trapping him, pwned the pocket knife, and then was ready to fight. Then, somone apperaed. In hiding. It was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit; the ORIGINAL AND REAL Mickey Mouse! You see, Walt created this lill guy first. Due to some copyright and equipment fights at Universal, he lost the rights to him. So Oswald went around, being sneaky and sneaky. Then, the devil in paint form appered. Mickey didn't know what to do; so he picked up the greatest weapon. A paint brush. The phantom blot fled, scared of the brush. The Mad Doctor was like 0_o and ran away. Mickey and Oswald locked eyes, the second time is ove 70 years. They were both like 0_O and then, Oswald, jelousy of Mickey and his fame, made the Pocket Knife go into evil epic mode, first trying to kill Oswald, then Mickey. Oswald darted out of there, and then the game begins.....

Sorry if that was too long.

Or you can run around the house yelling "Shenanigans" Like I do.

But yeah, reading when it's actually quiet is really nice.

Is the pie sale for the school?

My school keeps trying to cram these fundraiser things down our throats and I really could not care less.

They keep telling us at the end of every year we have to pay our class dues but I havn't even gotten any sent to me.

Do you want the best ice cream ever?

Go to Italy. Sure its inconvenient, but gelato is the most delicious form of ice cream you will ever eat. Street vendors all over carry it and its much better than this "Cold Stone Creamery" nonsense.

I hate it when my internet stops working, especially when it's not my fault. The fibre-optic box thing which our ISP installed in our house broke down, and we had to wait for two days for it to be fixed. Since the internet is also connected to the land-line telephone, we were left without any of them.

I score great marks on essays too, but the hardest thing for me is to actually begin the essay. =P

I see there's a good difference between the GCSE and IGCSE courses. Before I comment on anything, is there a set of compulsory subjects which every students must take? (like Maths, for example)

I do the same thing, but I use my iPod for looking up really tough words, and I also note down any major character on a sheet of paper for later references. This is especially helpful for large series like Harry Potter.

I can remember them too, but it's always better to have a list of major characters which you can quickly refer to.

Anyways, I have recently lost my PokéWalker, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Although I never used it so much, I still don't want to lose it like that. :S

I have a crap load of tests this week..

We have 6 weeks grading periods and so, for weeks 1, 3, and 5 you have homework and for weeks 2, 4, and 6 you have tests. I prefer the test weeks because there's less work to do since I take more time doing homework rather than studying time.

An yeah, I'm in a Biology class as well, and it's supposed to be advanced but it's really a blow-off class. I got a 93 on our first test of the year and our teacher said it was one of the hardest.

It is always like that. Homework take more time than tests, unless they are exams.

I'm home-schooled (well, technically I'm unschooled, but I still think of it as home-schooling), so the only test I have to take is one every few years. I think that, according to the law here, home-schoolers have to take this test. I don't have to take the next one for another 2 years (I think). Sometimes, though, my mom prints out problems for me and my brother to do.
