George came out sort of clean. He smelled of soap and dead bodies.

Claudia went to her desk and started to draw the deadman.

George waited in his small office. He wrote a couple of notes about the death.

Claudia decided to talk George about the murder. She knock on the door.

"Come in." George said as he put on his glasses.

Claudia opened the door and sat down. "George?"

"Yes?" George said looking up at her with his pen in hand.

"Hypothetically if you were to commit suicide how would you do it?" Claudia could tell alot about a person by how they answer, but this time she wanted to solve the case a little faster.

"Why do you ask such silly questions? I wouldn't commit suicide anyway." George retorted.

"Because this 'suicide' resembles more of a homicide. Plus I can a lot about a person by how they answer and what they say." Claudia moved over toward him and leaned over him putting one hand on the desk for balance. "The fact that you won't answer means you're intimidated, which I highly doubt, or embarrassed by the question."

"So you think I won't answer a stupid question because I'm intimidated or embarrassed. I think not. Honestly if I were to commit suicide I would shoot myself. The fastest way out." George snapped as he took off his glasses with anger.

Claudia took a rough guess on his personality. "You work hard but if you thought it was in vain, you would quit all together. Am I right?"

"No. If I were in vain I would stand up for whatever's going on." George said as he stood up. "Now is that all you came to ask about?"

"No, we need to go to the autopsy room." Claudia walked out toward the room.

"Alright." George said as he left the room.

Claudia came down and saw the coroner smiling evilly. "Your victim is James Berret." Claudia looked in astoundment. "The James Berret? He is a basketball legend at my old high school."

"Oh." George said as he walked by the room.

"George, what do you know about basketball?" Claudia knew someone was going to have to talk to coaches.

"Not much. Didn't play it." George said quickly.

"I'll talk to the coaches, then." Claudia went out the room and grabbed her jacket.

George looked upon the body in horror. He then left the room. For his stomachs sake.

Claudia grabbed a report before going to the car.

George walked back into his office. He tried finishing his summary report about the murder scene.

Claudia got into her own car and drove to her old high school. She stepped into a rush of academic scholars and dim-witted jocks. "Feels like high school all over again."

George pushed some papers aside and looked up at some portraits of men in the recent war. "Honorable men." George mumbled as he got back to work.

Claudia walked to the gym where the team was practicing. A young coach was pushing the team to end their suicide drill. She recognized his face. "Zach Linkon?"

George walked out of the room and down the hall. He made himself a coffee and went back to work.

Zach turned and waved. "You still Claudia Walters? "Yeah, never married."

George got up when he finished the work. "Better go help Claudia." George said as he got in the car and drove off.

"Do you still talk to James Berret?" Claudia was sure this would lead into who might have killed him.

George arrived at the highschool. "Well she said basketball coach so..." George walked into the gym. "Ah."

"Yeah JB. He's a ref now. Why you ask?" Zach looked suscpiously at Claudia. "He was murdered."

George walked over to Claudia's side. "Please to meet you. George Curnell. You?"

"Zach Linkon." He was still a little in shock. "Why did this happen? Claudia kept stern face and said "That's what we would like to find out."

"May we have a talk with some of your students." George asked politely.

"Sure.Boys end of drill!" The team stopped running and when toward the coach.

"Any of you boys know a James Barrett? If so, can you tell us anything about him." George explained.

"Isn't he the ref that called that bad call on Devereaux?" One of the boys called out.

"That's enough. Any more details?" George called out.

Zach looked at the boys. "He said about a week ago someone was following him."

"What did this person look like? And where was this?" George snapped.

"Um... Dark hair. Light skin. About Claudia's height but male." Zach patted Claudia's head. "Don't."

George wrote it down. "Anything else?"

"It started maybe two weeks ago after that call." Zach remembered the call on Devereaux.

"Who was the person here that said he made a bad call?" George asked.

"Thomlison." A nice looking young man came out of the gaggle of boys.

"I need to talk to you in private son." George said as he walked into a small room.

Thomlison followed. "Why?"

George closed the door behind him. "Where were you on the night of the murder?"

"Tutoring Jessica Dempsey in math." Thomlison was really defensive.

"From what time?" George countered aggressively.

"7-11." Thomlison shrugged. "If it's worth it, we did more than study."

"Alright! Your off the hook." George said as he let him out. "Didn't need to know that."

"It was an accomplishment." Thomlison winked at Claudia. "I could pose a sexual harrassment charge."

"Do it. We get paid either way." George chuckled as he stood beside Claudia.

Claudia smiled a little. "Zach, I'll let you get back to practice."

George walked out of the gym, holding the door for Claudia as they walked back to the car.

"Thank you." Claudia knew George was a gentleman. She got into the car and slumped back.

George got in the car. "Should we arrest the boy?" George asked.

"Which one?" Claudia had payed half the attention she should have.

"Thomilson." George explained. "Sexual assault perhaps?"

"It was more harrassment, but sure." Claudia was a little shocked.

"Alright. Maybe we can interagate him too." George said as he got the handcuffs.

Claudia smirked a little. "Sexual harrassment."

George ignored her 'smart' comment. He walked into the gym and quickly arrested Thomilson.

Claudia stayed in the car. She was a little tired, so she started to fall asleep and eventually succeeded

George brought him back out into the backseat of the car.

Claudia hadn't woken up yet. She was leaned up against the window.

George got in the front and drove off silently.

Claudia woke up. "Sorry for sleeping on the job."

"That's alright. We got this punk anyways." George explained.

"Sexual harrassment?" Claudia was still trying to wake up.

"Ah would you... nevermind." George howled.

"Don't get snippety." Claudia still wasn't fully awake yet.

"Oh shut up." George chuckled as he drove the the station.

Claudia got out and opened the backseat door. "Come on."

(We're driving to the station?)

(My apologies. I thought we were at the station)

"So..." George arrived at the station. "Turn him in?"

"Don't arrest him but we will interrogate him more."

"We can interrogate him when he's arrested." George said as he went to go get the boy.

"We'll try it without arresting him. If it's useless, we'll arrest him on something." Claudia went up to the interrogation room.

George waited at the car. He knew how the justice system worked. He had to arrest him first before interrogating or they could get sued.

Claudia moved the table out of the room. She wanted to prevent a barrier.

George took the kid to the office. "We got one." George said to Sam. "We'll arrest him first then interrogate him. Correct?"

"That's protocal." Sam replied. Sam sighed. "Is there anyway I could take this interrogation?"

"Sure. You are a pro at this." George explained as he handed him to Sam.

"Thank you." Sam took him down to an interroagation and sat quietly.

George walked in behind him.

"So..." Sam realized he didn't know his name. "Mason Thomlison." "Mason, please tell me why you are here."

George stood silently behind Sam.

"HIM!!" Mason pointed behind Sam to George. "He brought me here." "Don't blame my officer."

George gave Mason an odd look. "It's my job to bring you here sonny."

"True, it is. Anyways you want a soda?" Mason was a little shocked. "Sure." "George can you get him a soda?"

"Ya... sure." George went to go get him a soda.

"I want you to tell me everything you know about Berret." Sam slammed his hand down on the table in anger. "Fine!! I'll spill! Jeff Scotts and Frank Lowland were upset about the charge call on Lance Devereux. It cost us the championship. They said if they ever saw him again they would gut him."

George brought back the soda. "Got anything from him?" George whispered in Sam's hear.

Sam was sweet again. "Here's the soda. We'll be back." Sam signalled George to follow.

George followed. "Well what did you get?"

"Bring in Jeff Scotts, Frank Lowland, and Lance Devereux." Sam went back in the interrogation room. "You're free to go."
