Well, since WEP is technically a cipher, keys are employed in its transmissions. The individual key doesn't really matter, just the process of generating and distributing one. I think Alakazam was just commenting on using WEP encryption, not the process of generating a specific key.

Ugh, I had to leave earlier when he was telling me how. I have an At&t router.
He said something about logging in to it and gave me 2 a dresses that were something 192.0.0 and 192.0.1 but they both eventually displayed errors on Firefox, I dunno if it's the browser or not.
I asked him to PM me but he didn't yet.
This is for SK
I once put a password to my router so that no one can use my wireless signals. This password was a WAP key which didn't allow my DS to log into Wi-Fi.
Here is what I did:
I think that all routers come in a box which has booklets. You need to get the booklet which tells you how to set your router. There, you will find a web address which consists of only numbers. Type that number, and immediately, you will be linked to the web page of your router. You will find as one of the sub-headings in the main menu something related to passwords and/or protecting your wireless signals. You have to access to that page, and when you choose your password, you will get a chance to choose whether you want it WEP or WAP. I changed it to WEP and everything was fine.
I have Netgear by the way, which has a very simple layout for people.

I would say you are reserved by not being forceful with your opinion and not taking offense from comments counter to your beliefs easily. In essence, you're realistic and recognize other opinions and attitudes, even if you don't agree with them; this stands in stark contrast to the masses of easily-offended and even belligerent 'fanboys' that are, at least from my experience, stereotypical of anyone who buys into anything foreign.

I'm actually thinking of backing everything I have on my current desktop computer up, purchase Windows 7, and use it instead of Windows XP.
It's not like XP is bad, but 7 is much faster and more stable. I'd really appreciate any opinions on buying Windows 7, and if it's really worth it.
Also, I suggest everyone here to listen to "Heaven" by Bryan Adams. I'm seriously loving this song.

Yes. Chances are, your old XP computer won't be able to run Windows 7 unless it was a high-end gaming computer at the time. Not enough ram, cpu speed, etc.

*yawn* Lazy Sunday, I have homework to do but I work best under pressure, so I'll end up procrastinating as usual. I hate doing it, but I can't seem to prevent it.

Hmm... I have a Science essay due tomorrow. We were given a month to do it. I completed all of it yesterday in under half an hour...
It's stupid-sounding, too. We're supposed to describe the topic in the first person. I did my report on El Nino, so the project is supposed to be written as if I WAS El Nino. It makes the whole essay sound really retarded.
We also had to do a bibliography and images section. Although we couldn't use Wikipedia for info, I put it in the bibliography anyway, crediting it for images. Haha. I am a sly dog.
I also have Spanish homework due tomorrow, but that's about it. I finished both assignments.

Windows 7 requires roughly 8 times more resources than Windows XP. Based on Moore's law, which states that processing power doubles every 18-24 months (depending on who you ask), you would have to wait 4.5 to 6 years from the release of Windows XP to have a standard machine capable of running Windows 7. This plots a capable computer of running Windows 7 to being made at the very earliest 2007 (right around when Vista came out, which has equal requirements as Windows 7). A high-end machine could theoretically be dated 2005, but we're talking a $2000 USD computer.
So, basically, if you have an average computer made around or after 2008, you should be fine. If not, you might want to considering buying a new one. TL;DR Requirements: RAM: 1GB (32-Bit), 2GB (64-Bit) Processing Power: 1GHz (Most Computers are Around 2GHz) Graphics Card: DirectX-9 Compatible Hard Drive: 20GB (Plus Space for Files) Optical Disk Drive: DVD |

I ended up having to read half of a 400-page novel this weekend, mostly to avoid what I just know will be a spring break assignment. Better yet, I have to write an essay comparing it to a novel that has nothing in common with it whatsoever!

So... I still have to build my mousetrap car because I trashed it. It only went, eh, 2 meters? Fortunately, I'm understanding the Physics behind it now, so it shouldn't be too hard.
I also have to start on my test reviews for my Geometry and Science tests later on this week.
Not to mention that I'm tired both physically and emotionally as I was up until 11 last night (1:30 later than normal, and I wake up at 5:30) and we did A LOT of running in basketball today.
Not too crappy of a Monday, overall. It could be worse!
OMGOMG I FINISHED MY MOUSETRAP AND IT GOES 13 FEET YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
And now, my day has been made. <3
Now to respond to you guys... xD

It really depends on the wood to chuck ratio, which can vary depending on the woodchuck's size, sex, and demeanor. The most common amount of wood that a woodchuck could chuck is 78 pounds of wood per hour, so long as the type of wood mulls over well with the woodchuck's teeth. The woodchucks prefer pine and birch logs, but can chuck oak in a pinch. They don't much care for mahogany woods (if they can even find them) because of how tough they are, and the fact that mahogany reddens over time.
This often leads to scarps and shreds of mahogany staying in the woodchuck's system, ergo causing the innards to redden over time. Many feng shui masters recognize that red walls cause stress to those who deal with them, so the blood vessels and DNA within the woodchucks get stressed out and cannot perform their duties, killing the woodchuck. A very famous event in woodchuck history is when a small mahogany-harvesting town openned a woodchuck zoo, but forgot to lock the gate, causing the 'chucks to escape. They devoured the town's mahogany supplied, and died shortly after. The townfolk had lost their investment in the zoo, their reserves of mahogany, and the whole town smelled like dead woodchuck.
I hope I helped.

Also my monitor just turned a shade of pink and it's softly pulsing. It that bad? |
Did you try tapping it or something? May just be a few things inside the monitor in a funny position.|
Only 5th badge? I already have beaten the elite four and the battle frontier. Elite four a few times actually.
