I like cold weather more, too. I mean, you can still do outdoor activities in cold weather, but that's not really possible in hot weather for most of the time. Also, since 'hot' is almost always accompanied with 'humid' over here, this makes it even worse.
By the way, Fubab's new avatar is amazing

Lol Shadow, obviously most people wouldn't like extreme weather, that's why they call it extreme!

I just wanted to show this. I had an impulse to. It's a song I'm playing in band; check it out, it's a fun piece. ^-^
I know, a little random, but yeah...randomness is encoded in my genes. XD
P.S. I don't know how to use the Youtube tags...can anyone help me out?
When posting a Youtube video all you need is the code at the end
So, you had http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OwtF2Rj4XE in your post, all you need in the Youtube tags is 1OwtF2Rj4XE

I went yesterday to a mall called Dubai Festival City. It is really a huge place, ad not bad for those who want to get entertained. I, myself, don't like it much, but sometimes, I have to follow the family. After roaming in there 2 hours, we went to Papa Jones and ordered Pizza. I just love it. There was also some kind of a dancing contest where girls where dancing with Lady Gaga's songs played on. Some girls were hawt. xD
My dad went to the hospital in the early morning today. He did an operation in his nose to remove 'fleshy growths' (for the lack of a better term) which also connect to the part under his eyes and a bit of his forehead. The operation was successful, and those stuff were removed, but he stayed in the hospital for about 9 hours. He was really complaining about being unable to breath properly from his nose, and about getting very bad headaches the day before, so we're pretty thankful the problem is solved now. He will start feeling better during the course of tomorrow or the day after.

My dad actually wants to quit smoking, but we need to find an effective solution which will ensure that. I really detest smoking for what it does: it incredibly harms the smoker, and as if that wasn't enough, it also affects the people around. Smoking is seriously selfish and inconsiderate >_>
Fubab, fake cigarettes work like this: You charge it up as if it was a battery, you smoke it like a cigarette. You still get the nicotine, but you don't get the bad chemicals from a normal cigarette. And you don't get any tar in your lungs.
My brother (whose 19, don't worry. He isn't breaking the law) smoke fake/electric cigarettes. He said "There is none of the bad stuff in these so you get lung cancer half the time" (Although, I think he meant "You get lung cancer in double the time")

Gr, I had a bit of homework this weekend including some notes for my World History AP class. We have to take notes on at least 20 pages of a textbook (no pictures
) a week, pretty much.. Sometimes we have to do 40 pages which would be 2 chapters.
But, all of this is in preparation for an exam at the end of the year. There's an essay part and then a multiple choice part, and if you do good enough on the end of year exam, you get college credit. So it's hard work but I'ma try my best to already get some credit in my sophomore year because that'll mean less money to spend when I get to college.
I have a Socratic Seminar in English Class tomorrow! Yay! It's one of the few instances that my opinion actually gets noticed. :3
Being a freshman, I don't need to worry too much about killer essays, so I'll get on this year without much problems...then comes later years when I start getting all pisshy.
We started getting heck of homework. I can say one thing; Maths is crazily hard this year. Okay, despite me being a very good student in Maths, and actually one of the best, yet to study IGCSE Maths Extended is not something to laugh at. There are some questions that can just blow up your mind, and I really have to discuss them with my teacher tomorrow. I also got some stupid English Literature homework where we have to analyze a story thoroughly. Mainly, we are analyzing a relationship. If that teacher knew that being in a relationship yourself is better than analyzing someone's else. :\ I also had a very easy Biology homework. Oh snap! I have Physics tomorrow! My Physics teacher is such a dreamy guy. He speaks in a very sleepy mode that after a while, you sleep in your day dreams forever. Yet, he is the best Physics teacher in the school. Something better coming up; tomorrow is my first P.E class. Yay for justice!!

Something's wrong with my computer. I have lost all of my settings and most of the shortcuts on my desktop without even knowing why. All I see is something like "Initialize.exe enountered a problem and couldn't open/load" or something similar. I'm stuck with a plain blue background and a short list of shortcuts which don't even include my personal folder for now :/
(Thankfully, my hard drive is still undamaged, so I can easily recover all of the stuff on it. However, I really hate when the computer has to be taken away to be fixed >_<)
Sports are, how you say...not my forte.
Football: Can't catch the ball. Heck, I can't throw the ball.
Soccer: One of my better sports, but I always end up hurting myself a lot somehow.
Volleyball: I can't hit the ball without bruising my wrist.
Tennis: I hit the ball and it goes flying about 30 feet in the air...assuming I hit the ball.
Baseball: Hit the ball and it goes...say...10 feet. -.-
Water Polo: Pass. I've never actually tried it, but I'd rather not.
Basketball: I can't throw the ball very far...or up very high.
Wrestling: I. Am. Not. Strong. At. All.
Dodgeball: I make it to the end, but only by using others as human shield and using the "zebra" technique.
Rope Climbing: Oh, I wish. XC
Golf: I fail pretty badly. ._.
Hockey: I miss the puck every single time.
You might say I have a pretty bad sports resume. The only sport I can actually do well in is track. Maybe.

I never play any sports, which sucks because my entire neighboor hood is a sports community, and if you don't play football/soccer/lacrosse, you'll have no idea what the hell anyone is talking about.
I don't have very many IRL friends because of this. You guys are my real friends <3
I'll give it a try...
Football: Pretty good at it.
Soccer: One of my best sports.
Volleyball: Takes ball to the face, and hits it too hard = Not a good time.
Tennis: We don't play it in our gym classes
Baseball: Just hate attempting to catch, other wise, well at least I can hit the ball
Badminton: Hand-Eye Coordination is almost dead on.
Basketball: Can't shoot the ball worth anything.
Wrestling: Would be good if they didn't pair me up with people 2x my size.
Dodgeball: Again, one of my top sports.
Track: Not good at the running events(Which is almost all)
Golf: Don't play it in regular class, But I'm fair.
Floor Hockey: Best out of all, Love this one.
Ice Hockey: Not as much as Floor, But I still do better than others.
Thats all I got.

So liek, I give it a try too...
Football:Ehhh... I do not want to speak about that...
Soccer: Best in defence. If I wouldn't have to block everyone on the other team all by myself...
Volleyball: Not doing too bad, if I could hit the ball right...
Tennis:I can't hit hard, and hand-eye-coordination is almost non-existant there...
Baseball: Don't usually play tat in gym courses. When we do... well... let's just say the results aren't the best...
Badminton: Hand-eye-coordination as in Tennis
Basketball: Oh the joy >.< I can throw anywhere except the goal...
Wrestling: Thank god they don't have that here!
Dodgeball: Best in class when it comes to dodging and catching. Throwing not so good.
Track: Bah. I still feel like coughing my lungs out...

Since everyone's doing one of those, I'll give it a shot, too:
(I removed the unpopular ones and added an extra sport to the list.)
Football: I have good speed and decent bulk, but I'm not too good at throwing the ball like my other class mates.
Soccer: I love this sport. I know how to play great in any position, especially defender and midfielder, but not as goalie.
Volleyball: I can jump pretty high and hit the ball well, but serving is not my strongest point. Also, my wrist really hurts during gameplay.
Basketball: One of my favourite sports along with soccer. I can run pretty fast and I know all the basic rules, but my aiming needs just a little improvement.
Dodgeball: A dangerously fun sport. I can't throw the ball very strongly, but I can still make it hurt =P
Kickball: Amazing game. I know how to kick the ball well, and I can run very fast, too. Actually, I often finish a whole run during the first shot only.
As you can see, I'm really good at most, if not all, of the sports which I do. It's mainly because I'm arguably the fastest runner in grade 10, and because I put a lot of effort into whatever game I play. I'm pretty competitive :3
Wait whats going on? Sports... lets see...
Football: I can run really fast... for short distances. I can't do anything helpful though
Soccer: I can kick kind of far, not too far though. I can't run with the ball too well
Basketball: Just because I'm 6 foot 2 inches does NOT mean I'm good at this sport!
Dodge ball: (I wish I could play this in gym class...) I'm good with reflexes and throwing, but I can't catch too well.
Hockey: I could play it fairly well, but that's when I'm not skating...
I am not too bad at playing tennis since I have good hand-eye-coordination despite not wearing my glasses. Badminton on the other hand, is another story. It felt weird holding a lighter racket since I got used carrying a tennis racket. I do okay at soccer but I not good at running at a long run.
I been busy thoughout the month and my schedule is going to be busier when I start to find volunteer work required for school and help out a school play.
The weekend FINALLY arrived. I have loads of homework to do (most notably 2 essays), but I'm not in the mood of studying right now. I'll probably do them tomorrow and the day after.
By the way, our school has started the annual elections for the positions of responsibility from grade 10 students. I applied to become the Literary Club chairman, but I have two other competitors. Today I went to a lot of classes to campaign and talk about myself, especially for the younger kids. I also explained what changes I'm going to make in the club so that they are convinced to vote for me. The student with the highest number of votes will be declared as the chairman, while the second highest will be the vice chairman. These positions also go into your recommendation sheet once you graduate school and apply for a college, so that's a valuable bonus :3
It sure is a good thing I can't post in Serious and get myself involved in such a discussion. Really, I fail to see the logic behind having a dedicated "Serious" section, but I suppose that's best left to Serious.
Anyway, that really is unfair. Then again, why not claim to be Jewish and take those days off?
If anyone gets holidays off everyone should.
