I am also glad that I have a 3 day weekend but the thought of starting Vietnamese school next Sunday ruins it. It's hard to get serious learning my native language because I don't like the way my teacher teaches it and I hardly learn anything except how to read the alphabet and we often get off topic in the class. I tried teaching myself by reading children's book and I was able to read most of it although this is rather difficult to get motivated.

I'm not entirely sure of it, but I once read somewhere (probably on Yahoo!) that the Wii is planned to get a graphics update to HD or something. Even if that was true (and I'm skeptic about it), the update will surely not be out in the near future.

We were set to start school on the 15th of September, which is a Wednesday, but many people are saying that the ministry decided to postpone schools to the 19th. Seriously, we'd just go to school on Wednesday and Thursday, then we're off to weekend on Friday and Saturday :/

No need to worry, dude. We still got plenty of time.
For revision, I'm just going to skim through what we previously took to refresh my memory. I don't think I need to do more than that.

In the upcoming exams, I will be tested on what I learnt from grade 9 and 10. I must not forget any small detail from what I learnt.

This year is very important for me because it is my first official year in the IGCSE course. As Spirit mentioned, I'll be tested on what I take this year and what I took last year (in grade 9). This makes me a little nervous, but I'm sure I'll get over it successfully in the end.

Well, biology classes sometimes cover nutrition and such, so it's not entirely wasted.

I'm glad with my schedule, I have a spare last period so I get to go home an hour early.
With this extra time, I have to get my library card renewed after 6 years of not using it. Hopefully then I can start learning languages on my own. If that doesn't work, I have a whole semester 2 with only one class, it being Social Studies. So I guess I can try to get into the language courses then.

Lucky you, getting home an hour early. I have three days, at which I have to stay in school till 5PM, not very fun. At least I get to learn french and programming, so it isn't all bad.

Speaking of "School offered programming and video games", I remember my brother telling me he made a Pac-Man clone in his Programming class. But there was a bug so every time a ghost and Pac-Man were in a straight line from each other, the ghost shoots over to Pac-Man and kills him.

I'm taking German I next semester, but I'm taking German Culture right now (which is really easy, involves almost no real German whatsoever and is worth just 1/4 credit). The German teacher is officially the awesomest teacher in the school! He plays German music while we're working.

All my friends took German I last year, and I believe one is taking German III right now. It so sucks that I have to wait another semester before I can even start learning the language. They keep saying stuff in German and I have no idea what they're saying...

Last year I hated my English teacher. She would always make me late to my next class which as PE and was like all the way on the other side of the school. She had a grudge on me and if I made like one noise she would give me a referral AND a tardy. She hated how I made my I's. i would make them lower case and make like a big circle above it and like fill in the circle and she HATED it like really hated it so I just did it to piss her off and finally one day she made me do them "proper" but I didn't so she sent me to Detention and I got in trouble for "Disturbing the Peace" and being "Disobedient"

i absolutely hated her .-.

And i have her this year again .-.

The last two English teachers I had were awesome. I still have the most recent one as my English 2 teacher and he kicks ass. Although, now he has an apprentice teacher in the class who's temporarily taking over until second semester. But this guy's awesome too.

My language arts teacher last year was pretty cool actually. I just didn't like his room because it was always hot and it kinda had a depressing atmosphere in it.

My English teacher claimed she was an easy marker. She even said instead of how to pass the course, she told us the only way we could fail her course. Xp

I love my English teacher. She is so crazy and funny. So is my Driver's Ed teacher. He told the class that he ran and jumped out the window because a student told him to. And it was in the middle of the winter.

Of all my (current) teachers, my English teacher is probably my favorite. But the best was my art teacher last year. She was awesome! She played music during class (which is apparently my main factor in determining a teacher's awesomeness). Plus the class was really easy.

Best. Class. Evar.

Lux made me scared now! Oh god please let me be with Shadow in the same class otherwise I will be killed because of boredom!!!! Seriously, with whom am I going to speak?!

My English Language teacher is a very nice guy. He is Irish. His classes are enjoyable, unless they are comprehensions. :\

I seriously hate it when they divide students into different classes. It's like they know which students are friends, and then they separate them purposely :/

He's the best English Language teacher we've had so far, although he can be a bit strict at times.

Kinda creepy..

Since all my friends are in other classes, looks like I'm going mute for the year.
(Not really, but I'll just be really quiet.)

I'm with ya there Fubab. I got the worst class imaginable. I'm at home right now in my PJs waiting a bit then I'll have a shower and stuff and head off to catch the bus to school. The grade 7s are such noobs that they get a whole half-day to learn where everything is, so I don't go until lunch.
I'll tell you all how the first day goes!

I love how my friend told a freshman that this room he was looking for was on the third floor, We don't even have a third floor.
Oh well, heres hoping it goes better than my first day, which sucked.

My school has 3 floors. I've got classes on all three of 'em. It's a good workout so oh well, c'est la vie... (That means "It's life" in French.)
My locker is on the first floor, for the 3rd year in a row! I wonder if I'll get a good number this year, I've had 100 and 69 so far.

I'm pretty happy with school right now. My schedule got changed a little bit, thus I am off school every two weeks at Wednesdays. Yet again, I'd prefer to have school everyday and then just 6-8 lessions than this and 8-10 lessions...

Got to keep things short, parents demand me to go to bed (it's only almost 10PM >.< I don't wanna!).
Guess I'll see you all tomorrow afternoon.

Tommorow I go on this overnight trip to a place call "Hal River". Sounds pretty cool. The best thing is my tech. teacher is the "leader" or whatever... She's so cool! She has and plays video games! One of our projects wre to tell about tech. news, so I did Black and White! The first thing she said to me was: (After telling about B&W) "Really? 'Cause my whole familiy has been playing pokemon since my second child was born."(AKA: 1998 )

Man, those sound good. They're making me hungry. :F

On a more somber note, I got my grades for my literature test of the book I read over the summer, as well as the essay I did on it, and let me say, I did worse than what I would consider good. I got a 70% on my essay (Yikes) and an 81% on my test. (Dang) I wish I could have done better... :/ Now my grade in English sucks.

Don't feel bad about it just from the start. Since this is still the beginning of the school year, I'm sure you'll be able to improve your English grade eventually
