In a way, he's actually funny due to that. Come on, don't you rememeber how many times we made him sick of us? xD

- Business is a very HUGE subject. I am so afraid of combining what I am going to learn with what I already learnt. Since it is IGCSE, both the courses are going to be together. Last year, our exam paper was like 20 thing pages. I wonder if it is going to be in forties this time or even fifties.
Yes, it is a huge subject, and yes, the exam paper was pretty long. But do remind me: what grade did you take on it in the end? You took an A!

- All the elder students said that Physics is the hardest subject. Although I like it, I know that it is going to be really really hard, especially from last year's experience.
Study and do your best, and whatever happens then is not your mistake.

- I also don't want to go back to the boring Arabic class, nor English Literature.. :\
Okay, maybe Arabic class is a bit boring, but English Literature classes are chaotically fun! You know what I mean

So basically I am afraid of the upcoming year. I am only excited to continue studying Chemistry.
You don't need to freak out that much, you know. Just take it easy, and everything will be fine. There's no need to be so tense about it :/
To be honest, I kinda want to return back to school because I'm sick of not having anything to do. At least school fills my time (sometimes more than needed) and allows me to have fun with my friends.

Well, that was a bad time for all of us. However, it's all over now, and we actually got outstanding results in the report card last year, so why bring it up again? Plus, the teachers knew it was their problem, and that's why the grades were fixed accordingly.

I didn't even get my paper. I still pissed off because of that. I will remind you during Arabic classes that I warned you of them. We are going to sleep in them as usual. I also wonder if Morton is still there. If he is still not dead, then there will be another chaotic year, but honestly, we are starting a new Shakespearean play, and we must not be chaotic at all.

This I don't know any of my teachers including my study hall ones.

I tried that for a day and no it didn't work. I think that's a good idea to try. Tell me if it works, okay? I'll try doing that on the second day, I don't think it'd work though.

If you pay attention in class and quickly go over what you took in your house day by day, you certainly don't need to study that much for exams.

My teachers don't care what we do as long as we pay attention while they're teaching and do our work. That includes listening to music, talking, and texting.

Oh also if you disrupt class 5 times you get a fine/community service for disorderly conduct.

Things like iPods or mobile phones are strictly not allowed in my school. If you want to bring an electronic device in, you hand it to the Head of Building, get a number which represents it, and at the end of the day, you receive it back from him.

My school just got really strict with electronic devices. Starting this year, we aren't allowed to have them on us. Last year, we could have them out at lunch, but they just changed it, because we have two lunch periods, so people were abusing that. If it's seen, it gets confiscated, and a parent/guardian has to come pick it up. It's gonna kill me...

If a cellphone goes off in class it's confiscated. Last year not all our teachers were by-the-book. My algebra teacher had this jar that he would fill with quarters obtained by his students, and he would get quarters off of them if they needed to use the restroom/got their phone/iPod/etc. taken away he would give them back. (The quarters were donated to a cancer research fund every semester. Last year he got like $80 dollars a semester.)

Our gym coaches would take our iPods unless it was Friday, in which case we could listen to music during routines, and we couldn't get them back unless our parents came to the school and picked it up.

My science teacher was pretty flexible about music but phones were taken away if seen. When she left for maternity leave the substitute would let me and my friends play our DS/DSi's during class, but wouldn't let anyone else use their phones and stuff. (We were the only productive kids in the class, so she decided we could play video games during class. Our seats were right in front of her desk and she didn't mind us using our iPods or games)

Our art teacher didn't mind electronics but I couldn't play video games in his class.

In Spanish, we could only use iPods after a test or something but otherwise they were taken away.

In English, our teacher would take away phones and give them back after class, but tell us to put away our iPods if he saw them.

That is nothing in front of my class. In Chemistry, one boy had his phone hidden. Somehow, he had the number of our Chemistry teacher. He continuously called the teacher and then switched off. The teacher was annoyed and couldn't continue teaching. Our class was disrupted and we started laughing. He never knew who phoned him! XD Man, that teacher got kicked away. That's kinda how like one girl had her phone go off during class, and I looked out the window and saw two girls that I knew with a cell phone laughing their head off, and I knew that they had called the first girl. They aren't mean or anything, it was just a prank, and a very good one at that. XD

I figured out the perfect way to let your cell phone ring in class without getting caught: use the sound of a beeping electric watch as a ring-tone, then people will assume it's just an electric watch.

That's a really good idea, but if you get called more than once in the same class, that could be bad. I'd stick to turning it of, putting it on vibrate, or just totally silent.
I have many friends who text during class. One of them texts her parents . I guess that's no better than me playing my DS in Science class really...

For that reason, and that reason alone, I don't bring my DS into school. ^_^ And the fact that as in most places, Nintendo is not taken well among a group of Microsoft fans.

Thank Arceus my Social Teacher was cool, Because when I came back to class the next day he told me he wanted a word with me outside the class, Pulled out my DS and told me "Don't worry, Your Pokemon are alright. Just don't do it again." I asked him how did he know pokemon was in there, Then he replied "I can see you playing it in Class...."
ahh good times....
I miss my awesome social teacher now. :c

Microsoft is over rated. Nintendo doesn't get the attention it needs.

I don't know why though as well, that people my age who are fourteen to fifteen, seem to be attracted deeply into first person shooters and an array of blood and gore. It just doesn't appeal to me to the sense of total denial of anything else.

Fixed that for you. Many students in my school think that first person shooter games (on the PS3 and Xbox), such as Call of Duty, are better than all Wii games. It just pisses me off when they give such an assumption befoe trying out the good games on the Wii.

Nintendo has a few hundred million fans that beg at their feet for more overused characters in the same games rebranded using crappy hardware and no creativity outside of changing colors.

I'd say they have too much attention.

Agreed. And thank you, I didn't know what I did wrong, but oh well. *checks post* Oh ok.

Some of the Xbox and PS3 Fanboys should go and play some Wii games. Just because it's made by Nintendo doesn't mean its aimed for kids.

There are plenty of games for the older audiences.

I went to watch SALT with Shadow. The movie was amazing, and confusing, a bit.

I also have some awesome news, Mission Impossible 4 is going to be filmed in Dubai! :O

I already saw this earlier in the morning today, and they're saying it's not 100% confirmed yet. If it's true, then this will be very amazing!

Indeed.

Except being anti-microsoft in their games/forums will be an immediate ban.

Seriously, it's inevitable that Nintendo owns Microsoft and Sony. Just look at the number of sales and records made by Nintendo and its games, and no one will be able to argue.

However, to be honest, I'd like 2 things to be done to the Wii:

- Adding more shooter/action games on the Wii. I mean, there are many titles on it which are just too childish/crap. More games like the Metroid series are certainly welcome.

-The ability to play music and videos. Fod God's sake, why can the PS3 and Xbox 360 do it while the Wii can't?

I agree with you shadow and Quadcentruo the next nintendo counsole should have the ability to play music and videos, and right now they should make more games rated T or higher

Or at LEAST some less childish action/shooter games. What's the point of having a motion controlled system if you can't act like an awesome shooter in the process?

Agreed. Although I don't like the content and methods, the fact still remains that people love it, and it's very hard to argue against that.

The childish part is the part I rant about most. But Metroid and other shooters would be amazing.

I thought it could already.

Also, they should have a major hardware upgrade. Right now, playing the Wii on a 50" TV, let alone 30", is murder. If they updated the graphics to at least PlayStation 2 level (I've seen them. They are far from PS2), then I would definitely look into getting one for myself.

Although with a graphics update, they'll also require to raise the price, so I can see why they held back.

I think it's ironic how Microsoft and Sony keep trying to compete with Nintendo by making these horrible working rip-offs.

While Nintendo keeps making these games like Other M and New Super Mario Bros Wii that barely use them.

Yeah, that is undeniably a ripoff. They should have stuck with the eyeToy, that was perfect enough as it was.

I agree with Jad.

If they make something touch-screen next, it's time to sue.

Actually touch screens have been used in gaming things for at least 10 or 15 years before the DS. Even if Sony or M$ make a touch screen console, that fact stated before could possibly negate any grounds to sue.

Although, with the direction the PSP is going, it's going to end up as a DS clone, which would be grounds to sue.

You're right, perhaps suing for a dual-screen would've been a better thing to say.
Anyway, you get my point: They'll copy consoles and handhelds at this rate.
