So I came back from watching Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. If you've read the Manga, they skimmed a ton of parts, But overall it's a good movie to watch.
Also, The addition to the Legend of Zelda Fairy Fountain theme in one part was genius. And timing with some sounds is perfect.

It really irratates me now how the movie companies are coming out with more and more 3D movies just so the movie companies who already doing well make more money.

They even keep the 3D glasses so they could charge you again I really don't like it.

That's the new type of Staff, "Content Staff". You'll learn more about that tomorrow (August 15th).

The Zoo wasn't that bad without lions, but now it's even better! We've got Zebras, lots of different species of monkey, llamas, exotic birds... and lots more. I'll take some pictures, ok?

I haven't gone to the zoo for a long time, but they had a good amount of animals.

Two years ago, the government of Dubai decided to start building what is called Dubai Land. It is in the process of getting built, and when it is done, it is going to be one of the best places in the world! Simply, it is a land full of everything. To what I know, the largest zoo which has all kind of animals is there! Of course it has a lot of other stuff, but I don't really know much about them. I also know there will be Mall of Arabia, the largest mall in the world, and other resorts.

A mini-scale of Dubai Land is open, but not everything.

Last november there were 4 kids in my school who drove a car on drugs and get in a car accident. Two of them died. But honestly I have no pity. If you're stupid enough to get in a car with a teenager on drugs, you probably deserve it.

And before any of you guys retaliate with all that sympathetic stuff, I've had plenty of friends and family die. I know how it feels, but I don't see the point in crying over people who brought it on themselves.

To elaborate more on the project, Dubai Land will have six 'worlds': Attractions and Experience World (which will include the first Marvel Superheroes Theme Park), Sports and Outdoor World, Eco-Tourism World, Themed Leisure and Vacation World, Retail and Entertainment World, and Downtown. It will be the biggest collection of theme parks in the world. Not only that, but it will also contain a city called "The Falconcity of Wonders", which is shaped like a falcon and will contain replicas of the seven wonders of the world. Unfortunately, Dubai Land is very far away from completion, especially considering how many of its projects stopped due to the crisis.

If this happens here, I will be melted.
It was so hot when we couldn't use it. And only me and my brother couldn't use it!

The radiator in the back produces massive amounts of heat. But you don't notice it because its on the top on the building or otherwise outside.

Any machine produces heat. But our AC is on the top of the building, so we will only be getting the cooling effect, and not the heating one.

My family hasn't needed to use the AC the whole summer. Just a couple of fans.

My parents have the AC on all the time. Although it's humid here in the East; that's probably why.

I think a dehumidifier would be more appropriate...

My parents keep the AC in their room, so I rarely use it. But my room is chilled anyway so I'm happy.

Not at all. We don't need an AC for temperatures in the 80's. This is the coldest summer I've had so far.

In UAE, you basically cannot live without ACs, especially in summer. We have our 2 ACs on almost the whole day, and so our monthly electricity bill has to be high. Not only that, but because of the heat, the water in the bath becomes so freakin hot your skin turns red for a short time. What worsens matters is that the cold tap doesn't work properly in most houses during the summer :S

Oh my gosh Shadow, I feel so bad for you. I've never heard of a house needing 2 A/Cs. I don't really need an A/C much here, except on those really hot days where it reaches around 30C+ (86F+). To me, that's too hot :3. I personally like the temperature to be under 20C (68F) or under.

Don't you just love Winterish weather where the weather is cold, yet warm enough so you don't need a jacket? It's a paradise really.

So about 0 or under, but still clear and full of snow? Yea, best day possible, especially for having snowball fights, lots of 'em. >: )

And thats the downside to living in a city directly in the path of a chinook,
It either gets too hot or too cold, A small chance of just right weather conditions.

That sucks to be you Fubab, where I live, we have one season for hot weather (summer), one for cold weather (winter) and two for perfect weather (spring and fall).

Although, today wasn't too bad for summer weather... even though I got a sun burn from pre-band camp.

One thing I hate about using the AC is that I am sensitive to the air and I sneeze often when the air temperature changes dramatic. So when I turn on the AC on a hot day, my nose gets irritated and eventually start sneezing from time to time. Even when the AC is on during the hot summer nights, I STILL sleep with the blackets or my nose will get irritated in the morning with a cold. If I turn off the AC, my family won't be able to sleep well with the heat.

I don't consider the Bay Area in California to be in the south. The temperatures are also much less extreme due to the fact that it's right next to the ocean.

And it's one month and 8 days until my birthday. My gosh, it's been raining for the last 5 days, I love it! Another thing, I sneezed 12 times in 2 minutes, because I have a horrible cold. I've gotten through 2 boxes of tissues so far.

When I get a cold, the worst part is my coughing; it is almost always dry and so severe that I feel like blood is trickling down my throat.

Man that sounds painful, all my colds just involve me using a ton of tissue paper.

I never get colds... when it seems like I do, it turns out to be a little bit more severe than a cold.

I always get kinda sick, then really sick, then deathly sick, then goes down till I'm better.

I was playing Half Life 2 for the past few hours... and I have to say...

Those textures are terrible. There's also the problem with everything looking bleached and dull.

And for those of you who weren't on chat when I told this: I got a blood test today. Good thing I played enough Far Cry 2 to desensitize myself to needles. I used to be terrified, but cured myself with that game.
