Everyone knows this one (I hope), but Sinnoh's Route 205 has been stuck in my head a lot recently.

That game has so many underrated pieces of music, I tell you.

Mellow Groove from Toejam and Earl: Panic on Funkotron. It's so fun and well, groovy, I can't ever stop listening to it.

I've been playing a lot of the game SkullGirls lately, it's a rather by-the-books fighting game developed independently by a very dedicated fighting game player. To give you an idea of the musical quality, almost the whole soundtrack was composed by Michiru Yamane, AKA the composer of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

It's jazzy.

My personal recommendations are the Main Menu theme, Medici Tower, Maplecrest, and Under the Bridge

One of my favorite battle themes that seems to go with everything.

Another song from Corpse Party played during one of the most brutal parts of the game.

From an anime not a video game but "Ashita Ni Mukatte" from Yu Yu Hakusho is such a feel good song.

Got back to playing White Version 2 after a couple of months. (stopped playing back in Feburary and somewhere around six badges) And finally got back to it and I got to say the music is outstanding. Team Plasma's theme, the Rival theme, and the legendary fighting pokemon theme (Virizion, Cobalion, Terrakion, Keldeo) are songs that I usually just end up quietly humming in my head.

Here's a route theme from a Pokémon hack that I like.

As I was going through my MIDI collection, I found a few done really well of really catchy songs mostly from Mario games. The filenames should make them pretty obvious what they are. I'm probably going to edit this post several times through the night.

Not a bad collection. Do you spend a lot of time on vgmusic.com, or is there a superior source for these things?

Indeed, VG Music is my go-to source for game MIDIs. I also scour the new-files listing every now and then.

Been playing a lot of Skyrim recently. Which has reminded me that no matter how overplayed the trailer/title theme is, it's still legendary.

I just love VG music in general. If I had to choose though, Music from the Sonic series would be in the top spots.
Open Your Heart, Escape from the City, Live and Learn, Time Eater Theme...that stuff is gold.

It's so hard to choose, there's so many good tracks! If I had to choose, I'd say Hoenn's Victory Road is top on my list.

I really like the opening themes from Kingdom Hearts & Kingdom Hearts 2, specifically the English versions. Simple & Clean and Sanctuary are probably two of my favorite video game songs of all time, tbh.
