I passed the 6th grade despite missing almost half the curriculum that year due to a serious hand injury I suffered that kept me out of school. (I couldn't grip a pencil due to my large hand cast, and since I was right handed, I was pretty much helpless until my hand healed.)

Funny that you should bring up golf though, because I actually played a makeshift golf course that me and my sister made in our front yard when we were little kids (it was just digging small holes in the ground and putting golf balls into them). We would use my dad's expensive golf clubs, since my dad used to golf a lot, and this made him so mad at us. xD
