2 – zsaberslash, NismoZBack on Friday I bought Need for Speed Underground 2 for PC. Then I'll be able to play through the game a few times without running out of memory, and I'll be able to mod it.

Does a "free" Majora's Mask (Virtual Console) count? I got it for 150 Club Nintendo coins (roughly three retail video game redemptions). It's still going through the 31st too.

My latest addition, a GameBoy Light. It's essentially the same as a GameBoy Pocket, but with a Electroluminescent backlight screen (like many of the cellphones/pagers/etc used during the 90s). These were only available in Japan so not many people know about them. Got it from someone off DigitPress (a video game collector forum I visit) for $30. The casing is a little scratched up, but other then that works great! And with that, I now have at least one of every GameBoy system released. I'll get a group photo of them all up later. EDIT: Pic of all the GameBoy systems is up
Oh yeah, two weeks ago I got a slim PS2 (silver one) with the hookups and two controllers for $20. I also got an N64 Dex Drive (device to back up N64 memory cards to computer) brand new in box for $11 with free shipping. In addition, I just ordered an N64 GameShark Pro V3.3 for another $10 so I can back up saves directly on cartridges as well. I haven't really been buying many games recently because I've been spending money to protect/nicely display my current collection of games.
Two weeks ago I got a non-discolored *OMGRARE* Super Nintendo with two (really dirty) controllers, power supply, Super Mario World and Mortal Kombat 3 for $10. This now brings me up to three SNES systems (one fully discolored, one half discolored, one non discolored). I'll probably be selling off the fully discolored one with Super Mario World (since I already have it). I already sold MK3 and made half my money back already ![]()
I also got Super Mario RPG for $15. It's missing the label, but still a very good price considering they still go for $30-40. I also got something else that is kinda gaming related, but I'm not going to show it until it comes in the mail this week.

I got Mario Picross on the 3DS virtual system for 100 coins from Club Nintendo. The puzzles definitely need some mental power to solve.

2 – zsaberslash, DashArmyI don't think I actually posted this, but just in case, Final Fantasy XIII for a nice 9$ used and 6$ for a PSPgo AV cable at Amazon.
1 – Seiji J. KonokamaI got Kid Icarus Uprising a few days ago. The game really impresses me with the new fighting mechanics; the only issue I have is controlling the camera angle.
Other than that, I received 5 AR cards with the game. At first I thought they we cool to just look at, but then I realized that you can make them fight each other. In the end I made Pit and Paletuna fight against each other, and Paletuna won
1 – EaglesLet's see, I got 6 still in package e-Reader cards (Balloon Fighter, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong 3, Excitebike, Pinball, and *I forget*) for $6. I also found two Donkey Konga controllers (1st party) at a thrift store for $5 each so I got those and then got Donkey Konga (complete) on eBay for $10 shipped.
My sister and I both got $10 to spend on whatever the heck we wanted this Easter weekend. I'm immature, so I got kiddy stuff. =w=
Btw I took a picture of my junk here, and yeah it's all on the bathroom sink, only place that had lighting at 11:20 pm. xP
Teeny-Tiny Pony figures
Yaay, Pinkie Pie! x3
Disapointed to find no Purrloin, but I still got a Zorua, so that's good I guess... I have awful luck at opening GOOD booster packs actually. xP

1 – SuperEspeon25- Yamaha FX325 acoustic-electric guitar, to replace the Yamaha guitar I bought 9 years ago. I still plan to keep my 9-year-old guitar, but I'm probably going to let my mother use it, as she would like to learn how to play it. Maybe someday, my nieces will end up learning guitar with it as well. :3
- Hitachi Travelstar 500GB SATA II hard drive (rotational), to replace the dying 320GB that's currently in my MacBook with SATA 1. I've learned that SATA 2 drives will work with SATA 1 systems, although the drives will transfer at half of their fullest speed potential. (SATA 1 runs at 1.5 gigabits per second [Gbps], SATA 2 runs at 3 Gbps)

1 – Seiji J. KonokamaStuff I've gotten recently:
*Nintendo 64 + official Expansion Pak + RF adapter - $10 - I already have an Expansion Pak and can easily resell it for $20
*Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon (PS1) - original release with original case/instructions. This will be replacing my current disk only game which I can sell for the $5 I spent on this
*PS2/PS3 component cables (official Sony brand) - also $5
If it counts, I spent $15 to get my old "suitcase" computer a new clock battery. Surprisingly, the same battery type is used in certain cameras. I also spent about $10 in CR2032 batteries to get my "new" Dreamcast VMU's to do more than store save data. It's times like this that Walmart and RadioShack can be my best friends. :3
1 – Seiji J. KonokamaI bought a second copy of Portal 2, this time for PC as opposed to Xbox 360.
1 – zsaberslashFor $27: a translucent "Jungle Green" N64, a controller, and two games:
- Donkey Kong 64
- Kirby 64
Can't forget about all the necessary cables, either. ![]()
2 – Yoshi648, GalliumGrant
1 – GalliumGrantOn Thursday I bought Portal 2 for PC since there was a special deal where it was $6.79 on Steam.
2 – Yoshi648, zsaberslashWhile it's not a videogame, it IS however, videogame related.
Black "IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO GO AT AN ANGLE!" shirt.
$15+shipping=$22
Should be arriving this Friday.

JoshJepson, a famous LPer, had a moment In Super Mario Sunshine that caused him to say that phrase. It's become one of his best known moments.

1 – Seiji J. KonokamaMore old technology time!
Got a Commodore 1571 5.25" floppy drive to go with my Commodore 64.
*Mario Kart included for size comparison of this bad boy. Weighs about 6.5 lbs.
Someone on DigitPress had it for free (just pay shipping (for me was $12)) since they were unable to test it. It powers up just fine, now to find some Commodore-formatted disks to test/use with it.
1 – Seiji J. KonokamaBought lots of stuff this past weekend. Some for keeps, some I'm re-selling
Thrift store:
- Sega Genesis Model 1 with High Definition (high resolution) Graphics - $10 without the cables. I already have all the necessary cables and stuff, so this was a steal of a deal for me.
- Jet Force Gemini (Nintendo 64) - $3
- Final Fantasy (NES) - $1
- Game Genie (NES) - $3
I've recently dismantled an old MIDI cable that I got for free, and it might be perfect for the Genny's AV out. I'll investigate wiring diagrams later. :3
BLEEP BLOOP!
Xbox 360 (Arcade 512 MB) with 20GB harddrive and wireless controller. $80 by the time I was done with parts and whatnot.
Then at a garage sale last Saturday I got a box with the following mis-match of stuff for $20
2 gray N64 controllers with good analog sticks
PlayStation AV cables and a PS1 cheat device.
And the reason I bought the box: A Virtual Boy with controller, battery box, Telroboxer, Mario Tennis, and Red Alarm. Yes I currently have two Virtual Boy systems ![]()
Humble Bundle V (this links to the blog post), totalling about $15.
(If you were wondering what games I ended up getting, along with the soundtracks, they are Bastion, Psychonauts, LIMBO, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP (sic).
