Probably some of the more awesome music in my Sega Genesis collection:
Mortal Kombat
The Pit
The Courtyard
Mortal Kombat II
The Tomb
1 – JDxImpetusPersona 3- Battle for Everyone's Souls.
First the headbanging Guitar. Then the Piano
then the Vocals. An Awesome final boss theme considering what happens during the story to get here. It really is a Battle for everyone's souls
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core+R- Kagematsuri
It fits the character, and that guitar <3
1 – PokemanmdjBastion had one of the most satisfying endings in a game I've played. The music really sets the mood regardless of which ending you chose, and I usually don't like songs with lyrics!
2 – Eagles, JDxImpetus
2 – Reuniclus, EaglesThe End of Raging Winds from EO was a song I didn't like at first, but it turned into one of my favorites recently.
1 – PokemanmdjSmiles and Tears.
"You had control of our smiles and our tears All Those Years Ago."
I'm still not excited about buying Earthbound for the first time. Not at all.
And on a completely unrelated note, GREATEST REMIX IN FEVER: REMIX 7
O...kay... it's... ON! So many Rhythm Tengoku references...
1 – Reuniclus
4 – TurtwigX, Eagles, Seiji J. Konokama, PokemanmdjThe Peace Between Mounds from EO
Never before have I played a game with save music. At least not one that I can remember. But it is so beautiful and I can't stop listening to it~
Thank you so much Suicune!
1 – ReuniclusThe Lounge Where We Speak of Tomorrow sounds like a Nightclub theme. I absolutely love it~
1 – TurtwigXMy favorite arcade song (and soundtrack) of all time is the theme song from Dig Dug. Nothing will ever top this.
But I could do without this video's echo. And the sound effects at the end.
2 – Eagles, JDxImpetusKingdom Hearts BBS: Hunter Of The Dark, Dark and Ominous....I like it
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5: Forze del Male. BILLY ZAAAAAAAAAAAAANNE!!!!....and Ms.Shimomura
1 – TurtwigXAnamanaguchi is definitely one of my chiptune favorites. Making music with a hacked NES, and adding rock instruments over it. That's me one day~
I hope to make a song worthy of them or the Follin Bros.
2 – SuperEspeon25, JDxImpetusFunny...Yoshikage Kira wants anything but a quiet life if you read about him..
Ted Poley and Tony Harnell.....Just saying
1 – ReuniclusLoving the remade music in EO: Untold. Haven't even really made that much progress into the Story Mode of Untold, but man- they really improved on the music.
I mean, they made the best town theme even better. I love that jazz line Hibino added in. The Boss battle music from Dream Team is also fantastic. Especially that part at 0:58.
Woodland of Frozen Flowers from EO 2 is definitely one of my new favorite field themes.
1 – TurtwigXJJBA: All Star Battle: Pink Dark Boy ~ Kishibe Rohan ~
...Can't Wait for this Game..To make it over here
The Guitar..
Sonic Generations: Rival Battle (Metal Sonic)
Hmm....It's from a Sonic game...need I say more
1 – TurtwigXHOW THE @#$% DO YOU KEEP OUT-DOING YOURSELF, WOMAN?
From Mario and Luigi - Dream Team:
Wakeport
Dream World Battle
Boss Battle
Giant Battle
Oh Yoko Shimomura... I wanna be just like you...
3 – JDxImpetus, Eagles, Charizard98Persona 4: I'll face myself (reincarnation) - Great JRPG for anyone, as for the song, it really shows a ton of emotion of how far you've gone and wether or not your ready to deal with the rough path up ahead.
Disgaea D2: Rockin Princess - My personal favorite SRPG series, deep and tons of replay value, this song shows a lot of quirkiness (like the rest of the series itself) and has a nice tune to it as well.
Sonic Heroes: What I'm made of - My first Sonic game and still my favorite, while Adventure 1 and Adventure 2 had great final boss music, the music score in this fight soars and shows just how far Crush 40 has gone with the series.
4 – Eagles, JDxImpetus, TurtwigX, SpikyEaredPichu96I've been playing through my Zelda DS games these past couple of weeks, and I started playing Spirit Tracks... How could I have forgotten the Realm Overworld music? <3
5 – TurtwigX, Eagles, Seiji J. Konokama, Charizard98, ReuniclusSuper Mario 64's Water Worlds - very soothing and relaxing, it also brings me great nostalgia, great game.
Sonic Lost World's Final Boss Theme - After finishing the 3DS version, I can say this game was ok. Not bad, not good, just somewhere in the middle of the Sonic series for me.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record's Fire Water - Insanely intense boss fight, big open world, loads of replay value, deep customization, lots of arsenal, tons of zombies, all around great characters, and a nice story.
Pokemon X and Y's Snowbelle City Music - A great song, sad and emotional. Probably best 3DS game for now to me. x3
1 – EaglesTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) - possibly some of the most awesome NES music you'll ever hear.
1 – TurtwigXThe game came with the entire soundtrack, I'm so happy. :3 Here are my top 3 from Ib
Dining room area theme
1 – JDxImpetusI know I might be a bit late on this but.....
DuckTales - The Moon (play dat sick tune boi)
1 – Seiji J. KonokamaI love the Monkey Island theme from Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. It's very pleasing to the ears.
1 – PokemanmdjI can literally listen to this for hours. It's not too harsh-sounding for a boss theme, but it's also fast-paced.
1 – PokemanmdjI was just thinking someone should post here so I can talk about THIS! (Yes, Tic-Tac, it's a YouTube link. That's only where I can find the full video. Or you could always let me illegally upload it if that's more your style~)
This is Hyadain's remix of some song the Runaway Five play I believe as they're leaving the Dead End Chaos Theater. Aptly titled "Tonzura Brothers!" Hyadain crafts a great story in song about how the Tonzura Brothers run from town to town getting caught in bad debts and relying on Ness to save them. It's pretty accurate. And the animation done for it is sooo adorable~ The only gripe I'd say is that Ness is too girly, but he's 13, so eh.
What I love most about this song would have to be the bass line. Even though about... hmm, 90% to all of Hyadain's remixes have some amazing bass, this one is stylistic. It's the type off bass line used in the late 60s to 70s before the disco bass groove. I recognize it from The Beatles' "And Your Bird Can Sing" or "Taxman" (both from 1966's Revolver) and the Sweet Mountain Map Theme from Sonic Colors. That combined with the instrumentation pulls off that Blue Brothers imitation sound that Earthbound's composers were striving for. It's something I can really appreciate, and I hope one day when I attain bass playing skill that I may be able to cover this. I can't even recall the name of the song, and I call myself the biggest Earthbound fan?
It's totally not "Runaway Five's Final Performance."
Celestial/Dragonspiral Tower theme!!!!!!!! So beautiful and fitting for the areas in which it plays.
1 – ReuniclusAfter playing some Lightning Returns, I reminisced the two songs from the title screens of FF13 and FF13-2. (Known respectively as the "Main Theme" and "Wish.")
They both sound beautiful. Have you ever just messed around with the options menu a little too much just so you could purposely stay on the title screen longer?
I learned how to play a little of Gusty Garden Galaxy today and that reminded me of how melodic it is.
3 – Cat333Pokémon, Eagles, Dragonite
1 – NytzDead Rising 2 - Celldweller "My Own Little World", I don't know what's more epic, the song, or the fact that you're fighting a chef who can apparently block bullets from a gun with just his pan and can regenerate any sort of katana/sword attacks given to him. Without a doubt, probably one of the funnier/best bosses from the series. (I still need to check out the third game, but it's on XBONE for now, dang price drop waits >_>)
Super Marios - Airship Theme, yup, from SMB3 all the way up to 3D Land, the music in any Mario iteration is just pure awesome. Wether it's the old fashioned 16 bit version of the Orchestrated version, both can become very fun to listen to as your going through bullet bill hell, leaping from airship to airship, knowing that many things can easily lead you towards an instant death unlike some of the other stages in the games.
Kingdom Hearts Re CoM - Lord of the Castle, now I know that a lot of people didn't like this game simply because it tried too many gimmicks when I disagree. I thought the card system was a breath of fresh air and got extremely fun near the end. The reason why this is probably one of, if not, my favorite final boss theme is because of all the work/effort Sora had to put towards getting rid of the castle's curse and gaining Sora's memory back has all lead him up to this holy Final Fantasy-esque type creature that Marluxia has transformed into. A beast/leader of the nobodies, symbolizing "Death" (the Ultimate form of Evil besides Darkness) easily my favorite. In a very close tie with Ansem from Kingdom Hearts 1 in best ending/climax for the series itself.
1 – JDxImpetushttp://smoothmcgroove.bandcamp.com/t...s-melee-menu-1
I'm in the smooth McMood for some Smooth McGroove. Especially since I've been playing Project M.
1 – EaglesI've moved on from Chain-Link Charge (lol no not really) to Double Cherry Pass. Gotta love jazz viols.
1 – Eaglesthe saxy overworld theme for the bowser world(eighth one) is way too addicting for me.
1 – TurtwigXPersona Q - Maze of Life
Guilty Gear Xrd - Ride The Fire
Sonic Rush - Wrapped In Black
1 – Charizard98Now would you look at that, a song I can upload without it being illegal!
1 – JDxImpetusBasically every song in EarthBound, but my favorite is probably either the Hippie Battle or "You've come far, Ness"
2 – TurtwigX, blueumbreon
1 – Ditto616As of now, there is a limit of 100 posts per page.
