*wonders about flowers that mysteriously get watered between game-play sessions*
|
(and plant flowers, which can be slightly annoying if they plant them in the wrong patch)
1 – SpikyEaredPichu96|
Hey, tonight is the fireworks show! Redd is there selling cookies to collect some retro Nintendo toys and sparklers, while Isabelle is giving away head accessories and fireworks!
|
1 – Cat333PokémonThat was surprisingly simple. Reun and I managed to get two sets (one each) of all eight of the items with almost no extras.
A tip: if you have a trash bin, go ahead and throw the dud tickets in there after you get enough sparklers/roman candles. Throw used fireworks in there too. ![]()
1 – ReuniclusLooks like some new DLC items (pumpkin pie, afternoon tea set, and slushie machine) are going to be available in North America at Nintendo Zones (such as McDonald's and Starbucks, and not limited to just Best Buy) this month and next month:
2 – Fubab_107, piexingOver the last week or two, my town has gotten a great villager facelift. In short, I lost Mira, Whitney, and T-Bone (who gave me his pic as a good-bye gift ;_;) and acquired Peck, Skye, and through a TON of soft resets Keaton. I also convinced Biskit to move into my town, which is amazing because he is my all time favorite villager. With the recent move-ins, I have been resetting to move villagers into specific plots of land. It may be tedious, but should I ever decided to introduce paths it should be of great help.
I believe you can open them. If a villager moves out, it should turn to trash. Otherwise, if the villager is still there, just bury it and leave it overnight. It should reappear should the villager want it back.
Hey, if you've got an American copy of the game, you should receive a little surprise--a letter in the mail--from Isabelle with a shaved-ice lamp attached, a rare item that formerly was exclusive to Belgium.

Oh, let me know if anyone is looking for any K.K. Slider songs in particular. I've got about 35 of them.
|
Yes, I finally did it! Buying all those flower bags from Leif got me a Silver Can. This'll hold me off for a few weeks while I work harder towards Golden Can's beauty... But I still don't know how long to the Golden Axe. At this rate, probably September...
But now the new dilemma is working on my perfect town. I have to learn how to let go of my trees and meadows so I can build more stuff, but... it took so long to build... the forest is my child...
I am on a quest to try to breed blue roses.
|
Just as a heads up tomorrow is my birthday and because me and my dad are without transportation I'm going to be stuck at home all day. So I'd really appreciate it if I got a lot of people to visit my town on Animal Crossing tomorrow because I'll probably be playing it all day.
|
1 – SpikyEaredPichu96I realized that I haven't played in like a good 2 weeks because of how busy I am. I hope it doesn't turn into one of those weed-filled wastelands like I see in my nightmares...
The fireworks show last night was prettyful~ I just wish I didn't forget to play earlier, everything I wanted to do had to wait because stuff was closed. But if one good thing came out of it, it was this.
1 – ReuniclusThe weeds that don't look like overgrown grass, they kind of remind me of four leaf clovers. Are they actually good luck occurrences, like how dandelions are for fun if you let them grow? I'm probably unknowingly showering myself with bad luck.
And will people from the tent in the camping site move into your town? Since two unfortunately moved out I could use someone new...

It's too bad I don't really care about the HHA. Maybe someday. But I could use a good amount of good luck. I know that means money and no more tripping! SAKURAAAAAAAI! Maybe one day I'll turn off the Beauty ordinance and start hunting.
And so... today is Croque's last day here in the Flower Meadow. His house looks so depressing with all his stuff (that I wanted, that jerk >:I) in boxes. Sigh... when you leave I think I'll turn your house into a bench...
I just started making a pathway system in my own town. I'm also trying to collect a bunch of shrubbery starts from Leif. I have a ton of Sweet Olive starts if anyone wants those. Trying to get this all done before college is going to be tough though...
Oh, and I've also switched to the Beautiful Town ordinance so that I don't have to worry about my flowers anymore.
1 – GreenManI think I may turn off the Beautiful Town ordinance soon. The villagers keep planting these flowers everywhere that run the design I have around the trees. I have nowhere to put them so I just dig at them to get rid of them. And I need a reason to use the watering can more often for more than just pretty sparklies, especially if I'm gonna have a golden can soon.
I think I'm almost done paying off my house, too. If all I have to do is expand each room twice, then I'll be done with it in about two weeks. Then Tom Nook and his evil self can EAT IT!
|
I prefer growing all my own flowers. But, how do I get blue things anyway? It stumps me because blue is a primary color.
|
|
I've currently got (besides the standard colors) purple, pink, and orange roses. No red+ roses yet.
|
1 – SpikyEaredPichu96Well... if I run out of Public Works Projects to completely fund in a day then I might be able to completely pay off each room each morning... that is if I get double the Bells every. Single. Night.
Maybe I should just start lining my entire beach with nothing but Bell bags and call it "Avant Garde Design: New Leaf Style."
...Will having a perfect house help towards my perfect town or is that just something to do for myself/the HHA?
You do know you can store money in the ABD, right? Or are you making it so you can visualize your funds?
A perfect house (that is, one with a high score) is only for HHA rewards. Once I finished, I got only the gold mailbox so I could say I completed it.

This is exactly what you must do. Every day from 7 PM to 11 PM (Well, depending on your ordinance. Reese closes up at 11 for me.) Let it consume you. There will be nothing but the New Leaf Island. (It's annoying at first but gets better over time.)
|
|
Heh.
I sleep late, wake up late. Night Owl for me, so... all the way until 2 AM for Reese to take my beetles. About somewhere between 30,000 to 50,000 Bells for every 12 items. |
Here's the problem after you've paid off your house and most public works projects: you don't have much to spend bells on. Besides filling up the catalog with random furniture and making slight modifications to the exterior of my house, there isn't much else left.
Besides my blue rose challenge, I might as well try working on my rooms. Until recently I got both the Gold and Silver plaques from the HHA. (I wasn't even trying and I got 70,000 points as a result ._.) Once I get up to 100,000 points, I'm ditching that annoying balloon room in my house. I'll be giving away all of my balloon furniture when that happens.
As soon as I have my perfect can, perfect house, and perfect town I won't need to play the Capitalist Leaf game anymore. I'll start having FUN on the island again. Maybe even start on reworking the forest to look better.
That also reminded me on how much I want a second copy of this game (or some way to modify my entire town for a day) so I can build the great Mario Party project. Still working on how that would function, but once I have an idea in my head you can't stop the party train! Choo choo k' choo!
(Considering how common balloon furniture is, I'd just sell it.)
Hey, I had a Mario Party project idea ever since I saw Mario Party tiles on QRCrossing. Of course, I gave up on that idea once I realized it wouldn't be as pretty as I'd want it to be.
But yeah, there really isn't much to spend bells on once you finish the houses. There are lots of public works, but you still have to wait a while to get them. I'm still personally working on designing the rooms in my main house. I've got four ideas down, and two are practically done.
Today was a GREAT day for Animal Crossing~!
First off: OH SWEET $%^&^%TGHFGGJHG
3 – SpikyEaredPichu96, Cat333Pokémon, ReuniclusHaven't did a pic dump in a while:

2 – SpikyEaredPichu96, Cat333PokémonI have taken on a new initiative: evict Anicotti and Klaus from my village for the good of a future pathway. I have nothing against Anicotti (though I do hate Klaus), but my desire to make a lovely town depends on houses which line up well enough to make a pathway which doesn't zig-zag erratically. I have also been fortunate to obtain a great number of villagers who I really love, so perhaps the two animals who replace the aforementioned miscreants will allow me to have a perfect ten. One can only hope.
In other news, Hypno K.K, a tune which until now was synonymous with the creepy Aika village, has since become an entirely new song for me. The live version is really fantastic. K.K. Disco and K.K. Hypno are now my favorite two live songs.
