Why the heck is there a massive hornet in my bathroom, when the doors and windows are usually closed?

It could have gotten there via the ventilation ducts or the exhaust fan. During the summer months I seem to get quite a handful of yellow jackets in my attic, and being allergic to bee stings (extreme site swelling, but not anaphylactic shock, thank god), I have to be extremely careful when taking things up or bringing things down from there.

No, but I still avoid them.
