Steve was awake for a brief moment. His voice was weak. "Sydney..."

Sydney was in a tad shock. "Y..yeah?"

"H..." Steve passed out again. He was too weak to talk. He did it though. He killed a Military General.

Sydney teared up a llittle. She hated this. She hated the fact she felt she couldn't help.

Steve's nurse came in. "I'm sorry miss. He's going to have to stay the night. Your going to have to leave now."

"Can I stay, please?" Sydney wanted to be there. "Please?"

"Well I guess so. You two do seem close." The nurse smiled then left the room. Steve laid there motionless in the cold, dark room.

Sydney sat at his bedside. She was upset and started to cry. "I couldn't even tell him I love him."

Steve was asleep in his dream land. He remembered the battle between Matt and Steve. He remembered shooting Matt. He remembered it all. Killing himself. The defense of the base. The blown up apartment. They had come a long way. Steve was a smart and strong man he couldn't let this helicopter crash be the end of him. Even Steve knew it. Steve opened his eyes a tad and looked around the room.

Sydney was half asleep at this time. She was upset, tired, but she couldn't sleep."

Steve slightly got up. "A Captain never dies." Steve said with a stern voice. "My leg. It hurts."

"Steve!" Sydney was happy to see him awake. "I'm glad you're okay."

"I'm glad to see your alright too." Steve gave her a huge hug. "Where am I?"

"Hospital." Sydney gave an awkward glance of apology and regret.

"Where though? Where's the base?" Steve asked as he tried to get out of the bed.

"15 or so miles from the base." Sydney hugged him again. "I'm really glad you're alright."

"I'm glad your alright too. You shouldn't have come look for me. I had to kill him myself." Steve said as he fell to the ground. He stood up and limped.

Sydney helped him up. "Yeah, but look at what would happen. You would have died."

"True. Do you have my gun?" Steve asked. He always has his gun at his side. Always.

"Uh.." Sydney checked her bag. "No.."

"Oh no." Steve said as he limped out of the room. He fell into the elevator. "Hurry Sydney!"

Sydney got and helped him up again. "What's wrong?"

"The detonator is with my gun." Steve pressed the main floor button. "This is gonna suck."

Sydney started to minorly flip. "Did you tell anyone?"

"Only you." Steve dove out of the elevator. "I need a wheelchair." Steve signaled her to some wheelchairs on the wall.

Sydney quickly grabbed a wheel and help him into it.

"Let's get going!" Steve began to drive off quickly into the desert he quickly spotted some guards near the crash.

Sydney came along. Hopefully he would calm down.

Steve dove out of his wheelchair and tackled the first guard. He quickly picked up his pistol and shot them both. "That was a close one."

Sydney was scared of what might of happened. "Glad nothing happened."

"I'm glad..." Steve looked for the detonator. "Whew. I thought it was missing." Steve got back into his wheelchair. "Let's go see an old friend."

Sydney went with Steve. She wanted to make sure he could get around safely

Steve rode his own way back to base. He then got a Humvee from there and waiting for Sydney outside.

Sydney was there in about a minute or two after he showed up. She was ambling around.

"Come on Sydney. We don't have much time!" Steve said as he took the bandages off his leg. He felt better.

Sydney ran toward Steve. "I'm coming!"

Steve started the Humvee. He opened the door for her. He held his hand out to help her in.

Sydney quickly grabbed his hand as she jumped in. She used as stability than anything. THen she closed the door.

Steve drove off quickly. "I believe you know who we're meeting."

Sydney blanked out. She started staring unfocussly out the window. "Not sure."

"Samantha." Steve chilled when he said the name. "We need her help in our next attack."

"Let me get this straight. We're going to see my sister to plan an attack." Sydney remembered growing up with her. Samantha and she only saw eye to eye on two things: That Zachary was a mistake and Dad needed to shower more often. "If you think it'll help."

"Yes. She has brains for warfare." Steve arrived at the base. "We're here!"

"Fine." Sydney put on a false smiling and pull her cell phone. "We might as well give her some warning."

"For what?" Steve said as he stepped out of the car.

"Nevermind." Sydney got out and walked in.

Steve followed closely behind her. He didn't want her liking him again.

Sydney saw a guard. "Excuse me. Where's Samantha?" The guard pointed to the executive office. "There." "THank you." Sydney walked to the door and knocked.

Steve peered in from behind her.

Samantha answered the door and pushed Sydney aside to hug Steve. Sydney, through a little jealousy and to save Steve, said, "You do realize we're dating now." Samantha quickly let go.

Steve whispered in Sydney's ear. "Thanks." Steve put his arm around Sydney.

"No prob." Sydney answered sweetly. Samantha sat in her desk and digusted at the "relationship." Sydney sat at a chair toward the center of the room. "Samantha, we need your help." "What is it?" Samantha asked hotly. She took a slight offense to her sister now.

"You have knowledge of attack plans that they haven't even dreamed of yet. We need you in this offensive. Are you in?" Steve asked holding his hand out.

"Sure." Samantha awkwardly shook his hand. She pulled out the newest attack plan. "Syd, notice a weakness?" Sydney looked hard and pointed to a slight exposure in the flank. "Easy capture."

"Here." Steve pointed to a small airduct. "We could use this to attack from behind."

"Or, Syd, is there anyway you can cause a distraction to lead every soldier to the outside at the firing range?" Samantha knew the firing range was an easy way to lure everyone away from the artillery. "Can I kill someone?" Sydney knew an execution would get everyone out.

Steve decided to just let them talk and do his own special ops mission.

Sydney and Samantha shook hands and Sydney left to go on the mission. She walked down the corridor until spotting a guard, and proceded to snap his neck.

(Wasn't the guard on our side?) Steve walked silently down the other corridor. He radioed in a small dispatch vehicle to pick him up. A little jeep showed up at the back entrance. "Let's go."

(maybe) Sydney figured if she can start a frenzy, she can take control.

Steve told the driver the coordinates and he got his rifle from the back seat. "Your coming with me Pete."
PETE: "Oh... I don't know. I'm not really good at these stealth missions."
STEVE: "Nonsense. Your good as anyone of us." They finally arrived.
STEVE: "Hide the truck. I'll go on ahead and wait for you." Steve exited the car and crawled into the airduct.

Sydney changed into a guard uniform. THen she pressed the alarm.

Steve peeked down through little slots. He silently opened the vent and called Pete to stay at the truck. He saw 2 people enter the room.

During the frenzy of capturing a killer, Sydney went into the controls. She put everything on lock-down and crawled through a vent on the ceiling.

Steve shot the 2 and hopped down. He smashed the lockdown panel on the door and moved on.

Sydney wiggled ouside the vent.

Steve walked into the camera room. He glanced at the camera that caught is eye. He's seen this person before. But with the shadow he didn't know.

Sydney took off the guard's shirt she was wearing to reveal a black camisole. then she slid off the pants to show a pair of blue shorts. Climbing would be much easier.

Steve turned his head away not to be rude. Then he left the room. Steve took out the guard guarding the conference room. "Let's hope someone important is in there." Steve put a C4 on the door then blew it up.

Sydney crawled through the vents to get to the conference room. She kicked the vent in and jumped down.

The door exploded and Steve threw a flashbang in the room. He crawled the to edge of the table then stood up. "EVERYONE ON THE GROUND!" Steve suddenly realized there was no one in there. He quickly ran our of the room to search.

Sydney wiped away some smoke and ran to the control room. She could control anything from that point.

Steve ran into the laundry room. He hid in the pile of laundry.

Sydney reached the room. The system wasn't hard to hack, but it took some time. She proceded to also hack the files for the next attack and uploaded the file to her phone.

Steve realized the person was gone. He quickly made his way to the file storage room. Someone was in there. He hid behind the door and waited for the person to exit.

Sydney erased the plan on the computer with a virus she had created. Then she smashed the panel and left.

Steve closed his eyes and waited till the person was gone. He entered the room to notice the smashed panel. He was going to go get the information from this person. He followed her down the halls.

Sydney jumped in the open vent she got in the base through and crawled outside. Unfortunately it was a long walk back.

Steve ran through the hallways and quickly crawled out of the vent. He signaled Pete to follow that car. Steve hopped in.

Sydney started walking toward the meeting point.

"Keep your distance." Steve said as he kept low.

Sydney grew weary and thristy. She stopped and rested.

Pete cut the car about a mile from her position. Steve looked through the binoculars. He couldn't see the face on the person. He still didn't know who it was.

Sydney's body wasn't used to the extreme heat. However she started to walk again.

"Wait till she gets into the car then we can go get her." Steve said as he followed her with his binoculars.

Sydney bypassed the car and kept walking.

Steve waited. "Well it's about time we get it then." Steve said as he signaled Pete to drive.

Samantha came to pickup Sydney. Sydney jumped in and the the two drove to and deserted base

"Time to try out m latest invention." Steve said as he aimed it at the car. "It sends a EMP current causing their car to fail. Pull up behind it!" Steve said.

Samantha yelled, "Where are we going?" "Back to the base."

Steve shot the EMP at their car. He quickly had his arm out ready to snatch the data. "Get ready." Yelled Steve.

The car malfunctioned. Sydney lifted the hood to see the matter. "Nothing?" Samantha looked in. "Not that I see."

Steve quickly grabbed the datapad from her hand. "Yes!" Steve said as he held up the device. "Their car should be alright."

"Hey!" Sydney chased after him. If the stanger was smart, he would have realized the datapad was filled out-dated attack plans and qualifying shooting times.

"Let's see... looks like attack strategies." Steve said as he looked through the datapad.

Sydney laughed and walked by to the car where Samantha was. "Did you get the plans?" Sydney told her they were on her phone not the datapad.

"Stop the car!" Steve yelled as he threw the datapad to the ground. "These are useless. They used this plan in their last attack. If I can't have the plans... then no one can!" Steve said as he took out his sniper. Steve fired shattering her phone into a million pieces. "GO GO GO!"

"What the.." Samantha looked at the shattered phone. "Give me your phone." Sydney looked through the bits and pieces. once she found the memory card, she put it in Samantha's phone. "Still works." Sydney dialed Steve's number.

Steve answered the phone. "Kind of busy right now Sydney." Steve said as he looked down the sights.

"We got the info by the way." Sydney smiled and gave Samantha a high five. "Meet us at the base."
