One of the three men, however, was a soldier. He was a spy for the soldiers. In his pocket, was a 9mm pistol, and in his suit pocket, a survival knife. He was wearing a bullet-proof vest, and didn't SEEM to be a soldier. "Steve, yo." he grinned, "I might need ta talk to ya for a sec, man."
Sydney cleaned up and looked through a filing cabinet. She found a file with her name labelled on the top and found somethings she never knew. She was adopted by the Andells, she was born with an extra ventricle, and she was schizophrenic, although she had assumed. Sydney took this account and started to shift through more carefully, in case there were other suspicions in there.
Sydney thumbed through some more old records. She seemed suspicious of the reports. Each was extremely well documented and almost flawless. That was a red flag in itself. Never had a place been so organized using only paper. Then every file was either red (hers was), yellow (Steve's), or green (very few were green). After flipping through, every file also was written in neat print but the green ones, which were written in cramped cursive.
"I was rummaging through some old files in the medical ward through curiousity. Some were changed, but all of them were bookmarked with a color." Sydney pointed to the top of the file then pulled hers and showed that the colors were different. "Plus the handwriting at the top is different between ours and..." She pulled a green file.
"His was changed." Sydney pointed out the white out marks. "The reason why no file was kept in a computer base is because anyone can restore data. For example," Sydney pulled up some patient files. "By simply altering the hard drive I can tell you when, who and how long was each meeting. With paper it's different. Scratching off the white out will scrath off the ink underneath. Whatever was originally written was obviously important."
"Not that I know of." Sydney stayed relatively quiet until she realied what the files might be for. "Give me Matt's file." Sydney got onto the computer. "Patient analysis studies are on there." Sydney opened up the folder and began deciphering codes. When it pulled up, she looked at the first line. In big bolded letters, "Cleared" was typed at the top. "Cleared for duty."
Unfortunately for Steve, Len had seen Sydney in the medical area, "..Is it a medical report thingy from the medical ward? I saw you there.." he seemed to be a little depressed. Sydney, in his eyes, looked like Taryn, and even sounded like her. (Selective sight.. I think. I need to replay TWEWY.)
Len shouted, burst into tears, and screamed, beating the guards away with his fists, "..Just for once.. Let me join in!" he kept shouting. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Paih...eature=related just feels perfect for this moment.. From Len's perspective.)
Len looked around, alarmed, then saw Steve. He stared at the man, "..What.." he began. "What's your problem?.. You're a meany. You order people to kill other people! Usually innocent people who did nothing wrong than join the soldiers. Y'know. They were usually forced to join the army.. Those people had people who they loved, and were loved by! Do you?! "he shouted, letting out all of his hatred for Steve, on the man. "..You even killed her.." he mumbled. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRaGp...eature=related would be the music for this, from Len's perspective.)
Len struggled, "Can't.. B.. Breathe.." he gasped, as the man grabbed him. "..But it is.. You.. Who will.. Never understand.." he coughed, as he was thrown out. He hit the hard steel with a dull 'Thud' and was knocked out pretty instantly, blood trickling out of a small cut in his head.
Len stood still, "..I have some.." he whispered, "..May someone please kill the traitor? AKA the general here?" he asked, adressing Steve. "..I've seen him killing rebels. You guys.. And also.. To the general.. Thank you for this." he grinned happily. "I can be with her now."
Just then, Nana arrived, at Sydney's cell. "..Sydney?!" she gasped, "Why are you here..?"
(UMMM. You realize that's called God-modding, and also bunnying. Both are big no-noes in the Roleplay world. Bunnying is using someone else's character without their permission, and god-modding is essentually saying "My character is awesome! Bang! I use splash! You're automaticly dead." etc. That was an instance of both, 'dere, matie. Both a)
Len had been shot.. But he wasn't dead. Only just. He was only just clinging to life. "..Why..?" he asked, silently. "..Did it end like this..?"
(Also.. Don't even think about having the guy who picks up Len automaticly know that he isn't dead. That's called Metagaming, and is also a big no-no. It is generally a character knowing something they shouldn't do.)
Len used the last of his strength to try to rip apart the fabric, before blacking out. (By the way.. Some very very lucky people can survive being shot.. Just.. It takes a lot of luck, a doctor, and.. I've forgotten the last thing..)
Nana dragged Sydney, until she heard the faint sound of gunshots. "..They've shot your friend.." she let go of Sydney, and sighed.
(Also, Godmodding is different from Bunnying. Didn't you read my explainations of each term?)
Steve drove to a private place. A special place for him. His old house in the jungle. He got out and walked in and fell to his knees. "Mother. You know I don't want to be this kind of man. War pushes you to do things I never thought I could do. I'm sorry."
(Also I didn't attack. The soldiers did. And they didn't kill you. It didn't say that I killed you anyways. CASE CLOSED.)
Sydney recognized this place she ended up. When she was in high school, she raced this circuit. Sydney also knew that she could win cars, money, and information. There were a few cars unguarded, which was a huge mistake. She stole the fastest one and got up to the starting line without hesitation.
