Hate that book. Had to read it as my Summer Reading Honors 9th English crap. ...Hoping the 10th stuff will be better.

...The other book we read (can't remember its name) wasn't horrible, though.

Edit: By the way, reply 3000!

I'm not reading Raisin in the Sun instead right now my class is reading Inherit the Wind, I love reading books out loud.

One of my classmates had a teacher that got fired for telling her sixth grade students about how unhappy she was about not being able to have kids and explianing it to them.

We're reading Of Mice and Men. Honors English is reading Lord of the Flies, which I've always wanted to read. Then again, the Honors English teacher my friend has speaks Engrish- she's Asian. They also read two more books and have another essay to do on top of what normal classes do.

Oh, and I really hate Of Mice and Men. It's really predictable, what with Lennie accidentially killing everything.

Never noticed.

I dislike essays, especially since I have Spanish and we sometimes have to do some for that class even though I suck at it.
If they won't let me take SP3 next year, I think i'll just retake SP2 and do Algebra 2/Trig & hope I can get both the knowledge and the credit for Alga 2 & Trig.(it's an honors cla--i'll explain it later when I get my laptop :/ )

We are currently reading "To kill a Mockingbird" in my Language Arts class. At the moment, I'm kinda bombing it. Mainly because I hate reading... and my class has to read about 50 pages for each section... which lasts about a week per section.

I was stretching a lot so my leg didn't go back to hurting (like hell) until after the relay. We got 2nd and only lost by .41 of a second, which is pretty sad.

What so bad about the last 2, I've been to a couple of the Six Flags parks and some of them suck like the one in New England expects you to do a mile of walking to the park and a whole bunch of inconviences.

But Six Flags Great Advenure is awsome it has a Safari and a lot of cool rollercoasters and a station for Nintendo games.

My mom doesn't pay me to mow the lawn, thus why I do not.

I wish I got paid for mowing the lawn. My parents try to pull the "we buy so many things for you blahsfdjkdf" deal.
At least every once in a while my Mom gets me a GameStop giftcard as a semi-reward. :3

I never mow the lawn since my dad loves tractors and always uses them to mow the lawn.

Yay, we only have rocks rocks and more rocks. No grass to mow (although we are getting a lot of weeds).

That's because you live in Nevada and if you guys tried to water your lawns Lake Tahoe will dry up.

I didn't have school today. It's memorial day in U.S.A.
And I had to march in a parade.

When I see stuff like this, I'm sad to live in Michigan.
Our schools close after about 6 inches of snow, and there is no limit to the weather.
While other schools down in Alabama or Georgia get their schools closed after a light-dash of snow.

TRT, you are lucky that your school closed I think.

I'm technically out of school but we have 3 hours in the morning tomorrow. Only because the school wants money. I'll just go there and watch movies for 3 hours, I have nothing better to do anyways.

TRT, 119 degrees F? That's.. Yeah, you'd die. x3

Tomorrow I start academics until the end of the school year hopefully I'll end up doing nothing in at least one of my classes once.

Also for my final exam for the year in culinary I had to make a chicken voulte sauce which chef never got to try and rice pilaf which chef told me to throw out because it was burnt garbadge.

The part that I hate though is the fact that all the other shops took there exams on Wesnday and wern't doing anything while we were serving lunch.

My classes are longer! The first period, which is every day is 45 minutes, then all the rest of them are 90, except for the one after lunch which is 100! D:

My classes are around 45 minutes I think it depends on the period.

At my school we have roughly 50 minute classes, and 7 periods. But in 5th period there are 3 lunches that are each 20 minutes and 5th period is 1 and a half hours long. That can be good or bad depending on what your 5th period class is, I guess.

I don't think I'd be able to stand being in any class for an hour and a half, though in middle school I did have a block schedule consisting of four or five hour-long classes. All of my classes are 42 minutes with three minutes between each and there are two half-hour lunch periods during fifth period. The fifth period classes overlap, so everything fits together perfectly. I only have two more full school days, but after the first three hours of tomorrow I won't have anything more to do.
