ADVICE TIME:So what I think you need to do is make sure you know it cant get better with your ability, and take your time. There is no need to rush, unless you find a need to. And I know that you are able to imagine. So imagine what you think could be better about the sprite you just did, and fix it. Also, in Advanced fusions it is about pokemon AND scratching (or freehading).

ADVICE: So what I see for improvement is SCRATCH! you said you couldn't find anywhere. Well, I think you could have taken the nubs of the legs and made the body a sphere. You could have scratched in a placement for the right wing. The right wing is actually behind it. unless it has 2 tails then that is fine. And one more thing is never mirror things, or use 2 of the same leg, tail, arm, etc..

This is pretty good, but as you may have seen it is a bit strange, being a shark with butterfly-ish wings. B+

ADVICE 4 U: Okay, today it was pretty good. What could be improved is the part selection. When you used the shark, it seemed a bit harsh with the other parts of its body. The colors were okay. But if you looked at the top fin, it has really lighter colors than the outline. That was something that popped out at me. Also the scratching was good.

I blame Poseidon for the creation of this red water horse.

It seems we have taken a step back, yes? Like I said; It is out of proportion. Most of it is okay. What could be better is the body mostly. What this is about is using parts to make a new one. For you it seems like it is get a few pokemon and swap parts. If you look at the example one on the front page, the only pokemon you could probably deprive from it is Lapras and (maybe) Kecleon. So what I would have done is take is Rapidash/Zebstrika and Gtrados/Milotic and fused. Taken away the flames/mane. Scratched on a regualy head. put a fin on it, and blam.

Advice: So I see you went with the head and thats a little risky. But like you said you are scratching a lot lately, now you have about the opposite problem as before. You cant find places for pokemon. So lets work on that while till getting a good balance or scratch.

Try this.

Make a warrior. It doesn't have to be an actual person, but maybe a creature/warrior. I will show you something similar my friend did.

If I want to do Advanced fusions, looks like I haz to do this hard way.

• So the first thing is you didn't follow the lightest to lightest rule. Like the second one you posted, the pouch is way off. you went darkest to lightest. So you should have switched the colors around.
• On the blue one you put a peach spot on its head. I know it was supposed to be a lighter color, but you don't go using a whole nother type of colors. It was blue and you went to a peach. So if there isn't another color that is lighter, like you ran out of your lightest colors, make it the same as the next to lightest color. I wouldn't penalize you, I would penalize you more for this.
• You didn't Recolor the feet on both of them. Take the darkest color on it and make that the foot. You don't ever leave the same colors on anywhere.
• You left the outlines the same. That goes with the one above.
• On the floppy ear things you made the shading darker then the dark next to it.
• You left the tips of the ears-floppy things the same color.

This is SO much better! A! There was only one flaw, and it would have been hard to fix. So you did really well compared to last time! Do you think you are getting the hang of it? Now I must remind you the EVERYTHING must be recolored, that is outlines, eye color, feet, whatever. Now lets see what happens when it is a little harder.

Hello, as you all know because it is written right above this post, I am teamplasma. What you may not be familiar with is that I am the new Principal/Dean here. So that does me that (since it is me, and y'all should know me) there are going to be changes, and hopefully for the better. So check in often to be updated.

Some of the things I will want to bring here is more power to the students, classes via VM PM and this thread. Another thing I would like to introduce is more classes, because there are many classes that are not here. So hopefully I will enrich you with even more choice. If you have any thought or suggestions I do ask you to send them to me through PM.

You did really well. I put it in paint to make sure that you didn't use any of the colors from the original pokemon and you didn't... But what you did do is make up 2 colors (unlease you are using an older version of the sprite...). But this makes me unsure of what you did. But all in all you followed all the rules and did mostly everything correctly. Very good. A

What you did wrong is fairly simple to fix. the two things wrong are the outlines; And on the top of the leaf you put a darker color than the rest of the leaf when it was supposed to be in between the two, like a transition color. C.

So this is will help you...

My advice to you is to be SURE thatnone of the colors from the original pokemon are not present. That none of the colors that you would normally see on it are there. that is really important in recolors. And will be even more crucial as the classes go on.

What to do now?
Please recolor Pupitar as Mew. This should help you deal with 4 colors and a simple.

Now if you want to do your last assignment again and show me you can do it with an A, I would be happy, but it is optional.

I do that with Gimp and it only takes about 10 seconds. So I mean if that doesn't work for you, maybe it will help other people. But I am sorry if I did help you with my last post.

K', so I retried the Bayleef x Bagon thing. I didn't understand the leaf thing because it's darker in the sprite, but I tried to fix the outline. And the Pupitar x Mew I think came out well because it wasn't too much. I also changed Pupitar's eye color from Red to Mew's Blue (Please don't kill me)
