Sydney blushed wildly. "I've never been hugged."

"Wow. You have never been hugged? Thats surprising, because. Well, Your beautiful.."

(just throw yourself in here) Sydney grabbed for her cell. "I need to make a call."

"Alrighty then." He winked, and he blushed

(..Taryn can't just teleport from her 'base' to some hospital, unless it's close by.. Ah, i've got an idea.)

Taryn snuck down, leaving her rifle at the base. She spotted the hospital, a couple of minutes away. "..I bet someone's just waiting there.. Waiting for their fate.." she smiled, walking towards it.

Steve looks around his old house. He still sees the blood stains. "My home." Steve cries.

She dialed in Kyle. Kyle answered with his typical "What's wrong?" She replied with, "Where are you?" He simply said, "No worries, I'm on my way to check up on the girl." Without a good bye, Sydney hung up on Kyle.

"So... who was that?" He asked in concern. He wondered. Did Sydney already have a boy friend?...

She sighed. "My cousin." Kyle wasn't really, but it was a good cover.

"I'm sorry family. I will avenge you." Steve sits down.

Taryn burst into the hospital, looking for rebels. She had her handgun hidden in one pocket, and her billhooked cleaver down her back, in a special sheath.

Kyle was on his way to the base Tarynn was stationed. Kyle was an errand boy literally. He screwed up so much, there wasn't anything more he could do

Steve leaves the house. He walks to the hospital.

"Oh, is your cousin nice?" He sighed in relief.

Steve enters Sydney's room. "Hey guys I'm back."

"Yeah." Sydney looked at Matt. "Hey Steve."

Taryn walked around the hospital, looking for rebels, while pretending to be a nurse. She even killed a nurse, and switched clothes with her, while still hiding her weapons.

"Oh hey buddy! Where'd ya go?"

"Just to check some stuff." Steve acted perfectly natural.

"Alrighty then." He said as he sat next to Sydney's bed with his hand still attached to hers. "So what are we gonna do now?"

Kyle had arrived at the base. Tired he layed in the first bed he found.

Sydney wasn't sure. "I don't know."

"uh.. I feel like someone is near..."

Taryn, in the nurse's outfit, came into Sydney's room, "..Hello there." she waved, looking at each person inside the room.

"Oh hey! We were just getting out. Bye!" He kinda recognizes the face.. She might have been one of the soldiers.. He couldn't tell..

"Yes, thank you for allowing me to stay." Sydney got positioned on her crutches and started to hobble.

"...I do not believe you. Please, rest all you like." Taryn replied, her eyes burning with hatred for half a second. The one who had spoken up looked like a rebel that she had seen once, on a poster.

"I'm sorry nurse. But can we get your name?"

"Yeah, we are kinda on the way to somewhere.... Whats up?"

"Please I would like to thank you by name, miss." Sydney gave an extremely friendly smile. Plus to clear up any confusing, she still had her military i.d.

"Marina." Taryn replied. She often used her now-dead sister's name, when disguised as someone else.

"Marina. What a pretty name. Thank you for taking care of me." Her smile had grown.

"Marina huh. Then why does the name-tag say Isabelle?" Steve quickly pulls out a gun. "Now who are you?"

"Marina.. Interesting... I remember a someone named Marina..." Marina was a girl that he killed... He was on the run, and it just.. suddenly happened. A shot to the head ended Marina's life... He shuddered as he heard the name. "Now now Steve, don't shoot.."

Taryn looked down at the name tag. "..I'm covering for my older sister, Isabelle. She's off, sick. She told me to wear her uniform, and take care of patients in her place." (..Marina, Taryn's sister, killed herself, with a shot to the head, by the way.)

"Oh I see." Steve lowers gun. "Sorry I'm kinda jumpy today."

The face was extremely familar, almost as if she had fought alongside her. "Well Marina, I'll just be on my way."

"Yeah. All of us." Matt said in concern. He didn't know this sinister girl...

"..Hold on a second. Could i just clear something up..? One of you.. Reminds me of someone I've seen.. The one who told 'Steve' not to shoot.. Who are you?" Taryn was curious.

"Why are you asking this?" Steve looks at Marina.

"Okay." Sydney headed out the door.

"..I'm curious." Taryn replied, no emotion showing in her eyes. It was as though they were as empty as a corpse's eyes.

"Just saying Marina, but your kinda creepy." *looks at her*

Sydney handed Taryn her military i.d. "May we please go?"

"..A soldier.." Taryn stared at the I.D, before looking at the others. "..Do you have I.Ds too?"

"Why do you ask for our I.D.'s? Usually nurses don't do that. That's invasion of personal space."

Taryn shook her head, "..I'm a little curious. Isabelle said there were a group of soldiers resting in here.. She said to check them out, too.. Just in case. Our cousin is a soldier. Her name is Taryn."

"Don't mention that name. I disrespect that woman!"

"Well do you two have yours, or did you forget yours?"

"I forgot mine at home. Oh well."

"..Disrespect? Why?" Taryn tried not to smile. It was quite clear to her that the one who had spoken up was a rebel.. Or so she thought.

"Yes I remember this Taryn. She was in the task force when she killed my family."

"I actually sent some one to find Taryn. He's due for a promotion. Might you know where she's at."

"..You're a rebel, aren't you?" Taryn continued to look emotionless. "..Taryn's nearby.."

"I'm no rebel. I'm a normal citizen. Who are you? Your not Marina! I can sense it." Steve looks at Taryn.

Sydney thought quickly, but nothing to come to mind.

"..Sense. Your senses mean nothing.. However.." Taryn sighed, "..You are correct. Taryn Faraway's the name." she then laughed, "You're quite smart. But.. I didn't kill anyone.. My sister, Marina, was the soldier. Killed herself with a bullet to the head."

(Hold on, whats happening? I had to read a chapter in this summer reading book...)

(Taryn's cover's been blown, to a certain extent.)

"Taryn, well a pleasure." Sydney held her hand out.

"Wait... Im confused.." Matt said. He didn't know what was going on.

Taryn shook the hand, "..Weren't you paying attention?"

Sydney looked at Matt. "Way to go."

(..Ugh, bedtime..)

"I 'kinda' was paying attention... I spaced out on thoughts..." He said, as he was fantasizing.

Sydney look disapproving at him. "What were you thinking that got you that spaced out?"

Matt was afraid to admit that he was thinking about Sydney and him together, because he didn't know for sure if she liked him. He stuttered.

"Yeah, umm... nothing."

"Yes I am a rebel Taryn. What do you have against me?"

"Okay..." She still stared at him then shook her head.

"So, what exactly are we talking about?"

Sydney just sighed. "Wow."

Matt sobbed as he just didn't know...

"Don't..don't cry. Umm...." She patted his shoulder and gave him a small hug. She was not good at comforting people.

"Well, I wasn't crying.." He said, but although he wasn't crying he enjoyed the hug anyways.

"You..you were sobbing."

"Hmm... we should get going." Steve stands up.

"Yeah, we should." Matt gets up and starts to slowly walk, but remembers Sydney. "Hey, you need a hand?"

"Ya you need help?"

"Yeah." Sydney teetered on her crutches. She wasn't used to only having one leg to stand on.

"Alright, ill help ya." He winked, and put her arm around his shoulders. "Try to limp, it should be a bit easier."

"I'll try." Sydney tried to limp best she could.

Matt holds her up. "Are you good?" He couldn't help to smile.

"I'll help out too." Steve puts arm around her.

"Yeah I think so." She blushed a little. She was in love, but there was something about Matt.

We all began to walk.

Sydney tended to stay closer to Matt than Steve

"Just a question. Where are we headed to?"

"Ya where we going?"

"Not sure." Sydney didn't know where to go at all. This was the first time ever.

"I know where. Let me show you guys." Steve begins to enter the forest with his friends.

"So where we going?"

"An old place. Long forgotten." Steve arrives at his old house. "It brings back horrible memories but we can stay here for a bit."

"Oh my god! I remember when I came here last! Remember that Steve?" Matt chuckled.

"No laughing matter. Family silenced here. I will always remember that here."

"Oh. Well, I was just trying to think of the happy times that we had here." He brought Sydney to the couch. "Just sit here. Your leg will get better, don't worry."

"It's just strange. Having the killer of my family in my house."

Sydney started to freak. Steve's terrible memories, she figured would trigger tears of hers.

Matt wishes to make no comment as he thinks of his own family...

"I really miss them right now. I would ask them for guidance. And love." Steve kneels on the floor. "I wish I could talk to them."

Sydney starts to tear up. She had an extreme case of necrophobia, especially know it was from her own hand.
