Finished the naturally learned movesets for each of my tourney Pokemon so I've got my team basically complete.
Oh, and I caught Groudon.
In a PokeBall.
Yeah, I did. Seriously.
But only because my buddy kept nagging me to catch it in a PokeBall. Thank God for legends knowing Rest.
Anyways, I need to finish my Let's Play before I can get the HG Kyogre, so Rayquayza will have to wait. I named the Groudon Ruby, and renamed my Ho-oh to HeartGold.

Went on another legend hunt today. Successfully got Suicune and Entei (both in normal PokeBalls because I kick that much ass). Unfortunately, Raikou isn't as compliant and I haven't gone hunting for Latios yet. As for the legendary birds, if someone could point me in a general direction that'd be cool.
I was unable to catch Mewtwo in a PokeBall, snagged it in a Dusk Ball instead.
Oh, and I got a Surfing Pikachu off my PokeWalker. I nicknamed it Yellow, after the game Surfing Pikachu were so prominently featured in, and I will be training it for full time use in a team.
I've been nicknaming the legends after games and other franchise references.
Lugia/SoulSilver
Ho-oh/HeartGold
Entei/Silver
Suicune/Crystal
Groudon/Ruby
Mewtwo/Premier (due to its first appearance being in Mewtwo Returns, and the first time I've actually owned a Mewtwo)
Today I:
-Got the Master Ball from Professor Elm
-Defeated every challenger in Mt. Mortar and got all the items there
-Explored the routes and areas around the Safari Zone Gate.
-Caught a wide variety of Pokémon, including Graveler, Machop, Machoke, Tauros, Seel, Staryu and Gloom.
-Evolved all my team members to level 44.

I wander around aimlessly while impatiently wait for Phoine to hatch.
Also, since I have Ss, can't I find Latios in the wild? And if so, does it have to be triggered by something? |
I... am... making... progress! :79: <----Me
I got to Clair but my under leveled Pokemon just could not take it. I got to Kingdra, but I simply could not stand up to it. Now I am doing some training to take her on with half a chance of winning, but there are very few good spots to train at...

I have now beat the E4 10 times in total, as they are the only possible way for me to get a good amount of experience when I train a Pokemon with the Exp. Share.
Also, I have 4,500 coins at the Game Corner.
One more thing: My Lugia gained 5 HP, 10 Att, 3 Def, 5 Sp. Att, 4 Sp. Def, and 3 Speed points when it leveled up to Lv. 75. PokeRus is a glorious thing, is it not? :3

Fix the Power Plant up first, then talk to Copycat, THEN talk to Fatman. Then talk to Copycat again.

I battled the Kimono girls, then after that, I got an Adamant Abra with Synchronize. I went to Bell Tower and solved the maze there, which was really interesting. I reached Ho-Oh, and the scene before the battle was super amazing. I must thank Game Freak for that! After saving, the battle started!
In the first time, I caught Ho-oh with the 10th Ultra Ball, but the nature was Rash. After that, it struggled and fainted. In the third time, I knocked it out by mistake. However, as soon as the fourth time started, I threw an Ultra Ball and caught it! That was the best catch I ever had after Palkia! Without any hit, I just threw it and poof! What makes it more fabulous is that Ho-Oh is Adamant, which I really want. This was a very good day indeed.
I think I will start hunting Entei and Raikou.
I caught a Timid Lugia after using a Timid Synchronizer and soft-resetting for 4 times. At one point, it seemed to me that absolutely no ball was able to catch Lugia. However, in the last battle, when I was starting to get annoyed by its length, I threw an Ultra Ball, and the next thing I knew: Lugia was caught. I checked its nature, and it turned out to be Timid, so I was happy and forgot about the time and effort I spent ![]()
Other than that, I caught a Nidorino, Nidorina, Fearow and Clefairy in the Safari Zone. I also spent some time by playing Voltorb Flip, where I jumped from 2000 coins to 5000+ coins through levels 1 to 5.
My next steps would be evolving some Pokémon before trying out the Area Customizer in the Safari Zone, then catching Raikou and Entei.
I'm almost done legend hunting. I've saved right in front of Articuno. Out of every legend in the game (Lugia, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Ho-oh, Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Groudon) that aren't activated by an event, I've caught all but Articuno, and only Lugia, Mewtwo, and Moltres were caught in a specialty ball. Everything else was caught in a plain Poke Ball.
I got to the Elite 4!
I knew my underlevelled team could not take them, so I did some training at Victory Road. I am about to fight Will with my final team...

EDIT: Slowbro and Pinsir had excellent synergy! Slowbro set up Curse and destroyed both Xatu and Jynx, while Pinsir cleaned things up by taking out Exeggutor and Slowbro without a problem.
FINAL EDIT: Slowpoke is hard to use later in the game, but once it evolves it is a BEAST. Run Curse, Strength, Zen Headbutt, and Waterfall and nothing can stop you! Give it a Quick Claw too to avoid taking hits! The Elite 4 members have bad leads (up to Bruno at least) and you can Curse, Curse, and Curse some more on them! Nothing will take you down! My Slowbro is easily my team's best member now! It completely swept Bruno after setting up on Hitmontop.
I caught Articuno, so now I'm done legend hunting. I began trading between Platinum and SS, sending fodder Pikachu from Yellow Forest to Platinum in exchange for legends, events, and certain Pokemon I found particularly useful/special. Then I deleted my Platinum save, making SoulSilver my 'round-the-clock game.
After finishing all the Safari Zone work, I flew to New Bark Town and went through routes 26 and 27 until I reached Victory Road. There, I caught Ursaring, got all the items and defeated my rival. I think this is the best Victory Road in any Pokémon game so far, since there were no trainers and it was relatively short.
Finally, I reached the Indigo Plateau, healed all my Pokémon, purchased some Full Restores, and saved my progress to challenge the Elite 4 tomorrow.
I battled the Elite 4,as well as Lance, and defeated them all today. After I became the new Champion and the credits ended, the first thing I did in my room was to use the Shiny Stone on my Togetic so that she evolved to Togekiss. After that I obtained the S.S Ticket from Professor Elm, and paused my journey there.
Here's my comment on the Elite 4 and Lance:
The Elite 4 weren't particularly hard to take down, but I faced some difficulties against Will's Jynx, Koga's Muk (Gunk Shot), and Karen's Gengar (Destiny Bond). Obviously, Karen was the hardest among all the Elite 4, as she was able to knock out 2 Pokémon of my team.
However, all of them were of no match to Lance and his Dragonites; Outrage and Dragon Rush, factoring Dragonite's sky-high attack and STAB, kept on hitting my Pokémon strongly, weakening them. In the first battle, I had to soft-reset my game because I figured out I needed a better strategy to overcome the annoying dragons (especially after seeing their moves). The second battle took some time, but then I was able to defeat Lance and become the new Champion, with 3 of my team members killed (after using 2 Max Potions). I was really happy to see that there was some sort of a challenge in my battle against Lance, as he was significantly stronger than the Elite 4.

Spoilerz? :3
Shouldn't be too hard because I believe there are approximately 0 trainers.. |
one trainer!
| (My friend) Dude! This girl got a shiny Pokemon just by turning on her game and getting her starter! |
I battled today morning the E4. The designs there look so cool and amazing.
In the first battle against Will, Scizor OHKO all of his team with Night Slash and X-Scissor, except for Slowbro who got OHKO by Electabuzz's Thunderbolt.
Koga got defeated by Machamp's Earthquake and Electabuzz's Ice Punches.
Bruno's Onix, Hitmontop and Hitmonchan were defeated by Vaporeon. Machamp then knocked out my Vaporeon, yet Crobat defeated it. Crobat also defeated Hitmonlee easily.
Karen received a lot of damage by different Pokemon. Her Pokemon were strong as well, especially Houndoom. Gengar was a joke in front of Scizor's Bullet Punch.
I gave Choice Scarf to Machamp. Then I battled Lance with Electabuzz's Thunderbolt that OHKO Charizard and Gyarados. Machamop then OHKO all the Dragonite and Aerodactyl. It was a nice match. I really enjoyed the music played.
I saw the credits, which was nice and now I saved.
I have done a lot of stuff after beating the Elite 4; I battled the trainers in S.S Aqua, reached Vermilion City, beat Lt. Surge there, proceeded to Saffron City, defeated Sabrina there, and finally headed to Cerulean/Celadon City for some exploration.
Some usual, less important things I did were the Bug-Catching Contest, Pokéathlon and Voltorb Flip. I currently have 155 obtained Pokémon in my Pokédex thanks to the Safari Zone, too.
After getting the National Dex, BE WARY when fighting the elite4. Each one has 6 pkmn and they've all leveled about 10 levels. Then after beating all the Kanto Leaders you can go to mount silver. The wild pokemon are near or above Level 50. Also, at the summit, Red is there and he has Level 80 Pokemon. I had 6 Level 100s and he defeated 5 of them.
