Hehe, I finally did it.

I finally caught a shiny in X and Y.

I was in Friend Safari, and a wild Paras appeared. Didn't even notice it was shiny until I was moving it around in the PC. I'm happy.

Anyone want to trade?

How do you guys find the patience for this? I can't stand continuously hatching eggs. I get so drowsy after an hour of breeding. D:

Recently, I just ended up hatching a shiny Jolly Hawlucha with Unburden. (nicknamed it Kirito from SAO)

Next shiny I'm gonna hatch for: Calm Nature Klefki, wish me luck!

I found a shiny Spinda yesterday while looking for one with Contrary in horde battles. It was the first shiny I've ever found on my own in X/Y. c:

A friend also traded me a shiny Gigalith today.

I found a shiny Whismur a couple days ago while EV training through horde battles.

Three days into trying to restarting my pokemon collection I find my first (and currently only) shiny.

I now have a Shiny Crawdaunt, which sucks since it's a fishing pokemon so it's kind of worthless.

All this luck with shinies and I was not lucky enough to not lose my games.

Recent shinies:

Spritzee with HA and clefairy back-to-back (yesterday)
Skarmory(yesterday)
Dunsparce (yesterday)

And only minutes ago today, Pachirisu.

Shinies really aren't that rare anymore since I average about 2-3 a day

Shinies I have ever had:

From Trades:
Croagunk, Krabby, Aggron, Froakie, Entei, Suicune, Magmortar, Porygon-Z, Altaria, Pidove, Gyarados, Swellow, Shaymin and some other stuff.

Were programmed into the game:
Gyarados, Haxorus, Gible

I found in the wild randomly:
Bibarel, Graveler, Horsea.

(Bold is stuff that I still have.)

I caught a Shiny Psyduck last night while Horde Farming. (It was my first horde's shiny. ) Shiny Psyduck was actually the first shiny Pokemon that I ever found in the wild, however I killed not knowing the value of shiny Pokemon. (It was about nine years ago on Pokemon Firered.)

I also got a Shiny Eevee from the GTS a week ago.

I caught a shiny Aipom while level grinding in a friend's Audino safari.

It's Careful natured and it has its hidden ability Skill Link. Too bad it can't utilize that ability that well aside from using Fury Swipes or Doubleslap :/

I recently hatched a shiny Growlithe, but it got 0 IVs for Attack. It really sucks since both parents had 31 IVs for that stat. :<

I havnt had no luck with shinys latly Its hard finding shinys the old fashion way besides RNGing for them.

I hatched a shiny Beldum after around 90 eggs.

I ran into a shiny Floatzel while Horde Battling, so now I have 2, considering I got the other one from the GTS.

I hatched a shiny Riolu after around 500 eggs.

The IV spread is nearly perfect; 31/31/26/10/31/31

Haha! Yes! I finally hatched a shiny 5iv Timid Protean Froakie! The masuda method pulled through this time.

I found a shiny Adamant Machop in a horde with No Guard. I might train it since I got lucky with the nature.

Well i found a shiny Elgem (Beeherem's first stage) after a Dexnav chain at around 58-60. But after that i went to a chain of 101 and didnt find another one. (While still chaining after catching the shiny)

Last week I was hunting Shroomish on dex nav and around 64 I ran into a shiny but I accidentally killed it out of reflex.

No big loss since it had no potential or egg moves.

Finally got my shiny spoink that I've been on and off hunting since the second month of xy.

I breed a shiny Hidden Ability Impish gligar, but it only has 31 ivs in Atk/Def/Sp.def and has 0 ivs in speed.

If anyone is interested in it i'll give it to ya for whatever.

Too bad about the nature, though. Still, second random shiny I've ever run across and the first since 2012.

I see so many shinys when i ev train its crazy, about 40% of the time i'll see one and 50% of the i'll get one through breeding when im not tring hard to get one myself. Plus i havnt really even used the RNG thing on my old gen games anymore to get shinys, unless i really want a specific shiny pokemon.

Actually a little surprised it took me this long on AS to find a shiny, since I've easily been in 500-600 Hoard Battles (2500-3000 individual Pokémon) and hatched hundreds of Eggs in Gen 6, about half of which qualifying for the Masuda Method.

I don't like a lot of the Shiny palates, though - Golbat and Dragonite look moldy, Crobat just looks weird - so I'm not going out of my way to get any, any day soon.

So u still going to make them wifi battle vids sometime? I would battle you again to be on youtube once more, but my 3ds needs a new battery so its taking awhile to find a place that carrys any.

I recently discovered like fifteen battle videos I'd recorded that I haven't done anything with yet, most of them I didn't commentate because they were short and silly but I did start posting them again recently.

I got my replacement battery on Amazon, have you tried looking there yet?

I hear that battery plus stores carry them, but if i dont have any luck with that i'll try amazon.

Shiny Cleffa in 7 eggs. It is now a fully grown Clefable.

That was incredibly fast. I found (and caught) a shiny Lillipup in my just-started run of Ultra Moon!
