Sydney hugged him slighty. She didn't want him to leave her side.

Matt kissed her cheek. "Nighty nights." He said with a hand heart.

"I hate him." Steve said huddled around his little fire.

"Night." Sydney smiled then started to fall asleep.

Matt slept. He had a nice dream too.

Steve kicked the fire. "The pain doesn't concern me anymore." Steve cried.

Sydney for some reason couldn't sleep. It was strange. She figured it was a sleep disorder or a regular sleep pattern.

Steve pulled out his guitar. "Oh. Take me home. To a place, I belong!" Steve began to cut out and cry. "West Virginia. Take me home." Steve cried.

Sydney got out of the bed slowly. She started to wander around the apartment. Being up wasn't fulfilling, so she decided to walk in the city. It was worth a shot.

Steve noticed a dark figure walking down a path. "Who goes there?"

Sydney grabbed her jacket and headed out. The streetlights weren't much, therefore she had to pull her cell for light.

"Hey! Get over here!" Steve said slowly.

Sydney walked along the street holding her jacket closed. It was a cool night and she was cold.

"It's Sydney. SYDNEY!" Steve waved her over.

Xemnas decided to post-pone the talk for later. It's not that important, he thought.

Matt dreamed of Sydney walking away. "Sydney..." He said in his sleep. He reached out for her in his bed, but felt nothing. He immediately woke up.

Sydney quickly turned around at the sound of her name. "Wh..what?" Sydney was timid, because she couldn't see who it was.

"It's Steve. Over here." Steve waved her over.

"Oh." Sydney walked over hesitantly. She wasn't sure what to expect.

"Where is she!?" Matt ran out the door.

Sydney held her jacket tightly. Underneath was her pistol, loaded and cocked in case of emergency. She also had a pocket knife in her shoe.

Matt ran out into the city to find Sydney. He called her name. "SYDNEY!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!??!"

Sydney was extremely dillusional. One sneak-up and someone would be shot. Her hand rested on the gun.

Matt climbed the top of a high building to look for her. He needed to find her.

Sydney leaned down to pick out the knife from her shoe. She was going to act, but if Steve gave her reason to she would.

"Not working..." Matt kept searching, even if it took years.

Sydney started to head down the street again knife in hand. She heard distant music, light swing, and it soothed her. However nothing tore her knife from her hand. The source of the music was a jazz club.

Matt did some parcore, and jumped from building to building. He was on top of a loud jazz club.

Sydney put up her knife and walked in. She was always attracted to jazz music.

Matt saw her walk in, but decided to test her. He put on a casual disguise.

Sydney walked into the hustle of the bar and music. The sax on stage was playing a rendition of a Cannonball Aderly song. Well in tune and almost perfect, Sydney was impressed. She ordered a drink and listened.

Matt walked onto the bar dressed up as a hot guy. "Ah, Jazz. My favorite." He said, hoping Sydney would hear him.

Sydney received her drink and downed the shot. "Thank you." She was extremely polite. Next up was a piano player. He played Duke Ellington's Satin doll. It was beautiful.

Matt walked up to Sydney. "Ahaha, hey there little lady." He said trying to please her.

"Hello?" Sydney looked at the guy as if he was crazy. She only paid attention to the music and the drinks.

...Hm, Xemnas thought to himself, what're they all riled up for? "If I got some explinations," he said to himself.

"You with anyone?" He said.

Sea suddenly woke up. He had been sleeping on the couch in Matt's house. "Ehhh? What the hell did i sleep through? What a freakin' weird dream." he then got up, and looked for Matt. When he realized both Matt and Sydney were missing, he panicked. "Not a' bleedin' 'gain!" he exclaimed, before running to the room Nana was sleeping in, and woke her up. "Yo, kid. Matt 'n' Sydney have gone missing.. D'you think we should go look for them?" he asked, worried. Nana yawned, "..Do whatever.." then fell right back to sleep.

"Why, hello Sea!" Xemnas yelled from downstairs. "How have the days been treating you?!"

"Depends! What the heck happened when me and the kid were asleep?" Sea called back down, "And where are Matt and Sydney?"

Steve sighed when he saw Sydney turn away. "Wonderful." Steve said sarcastically.

"A fight broke out, nobody hurt! Although, I haven't pinpointed their location!" Xemnas stood. "You should come down, Sea!"

Sea nodded, and ran downstairs. "A fight? You guys really are a mad lot.." he shook his head, "We'd better look for them. The kid's still tired, so we can't bring her.. Ugh."

"I must kill Matt. But I can't kill my friend. He betrayed you, more than once. Your right I must kill him." Steve laughed then got up.

"I haven't a clue WHERE to start looking. Relax, watch TV or something." Xemnas paused. "...When did you meet Sydney, and how?"

Steve loaded his pistol. "Let's get to killing!"

Sea sighed, "I was running from the soldiers.. Y'see, i'm an ex-soldier, myself, anyway, they tried to kill me. I kept running, until i saw Sydney and that Mika guy. Decided to introduce myself, after all, I was thankful to find people who weren't trying to kill me.."

"You're in good hands, Sea. I will protect everyone in this group." He went back to reading the newspaper.

Steve grabbed some AK's. "Well my family would want this. And so do I!" Steve ran around trying to find Matt.

Nana suddenly woke up, panting. "..No..!" she cried, then realized she was awake. She quickly jumped out of bed, and ran downstairs. "..I had a bad dream.. Where that Steve guy, who killed that soldier woman, was running around looking for Matt.. Then he found Matt, and killed everyone around him!.. Even us.. I'm scared.." she declared, when she got into the same room as Sea and Firo.

Sydney was still in the club. She was critiquing the artist. "Well in tune, wrong key though." She had critiqued anyone since before she was a soldier.

"Perhaps this club here?" Steve ran to the club.

A new artist came up. A clarinet was careful carried up to him. He looked familar. "Danny Woo." The crowd screamed. She knew Danny from band back in highschool.

Steve entered the club. "It's a jazz club."

Danny started to play Benny Goodman. She loved Benny Goodman, and it was a surprising choice for him. "Danny, I knew it. I knew you loved Benny Goodman." She said it softly and giggled to herself.

Steve saw Sydney. Then looked at Matt. "I knew they were here together."

Danny stopped playing in the middle of the piece. Sydney was confused until she saw a tear in his eye. She ran up on stage impulsively. "What's wrong?"

"What's she doing?" Steve raised his gun in the air so everyone would see it.

Danny looked at her. "Sydney?" "Danny, what's wrong?" She repeated the question. Suddenly he hugged her. "MY FAMILY ABANDONED ME!!" He cried on her shoulder.

"Sorry sweet girl Nana," he said, "but that was no dream.

"EVERYONE GET ON THE GROUND!" Steve yelled.

(Question, whats happening? O.o)

"Everyone on the ground! Get up Matt. Your coming with me!"

(Btw, im supposed to be in a disguise.. No one knows who i am...*derps*)

"MATT I KNOW IT'S YOU! Get over here!" Steve takes off his disguise.

"Oh hey Steve! Your alive!" Matt walked over there and tried to high five him.

Steve grabbed his head. "Nobody move!" Steve walks away with him.

"Steve, no!!" Sydney looked at Steve in understanding but sadness.

"Er..." Matt gulped. "Welcome back?.."

"Don't you dare shoot him!" Sydney looked at Matt this time, and tears streamed down her face.

"C'mon Steve... I know you have a heart!" He said choking by his hold.

"Stay quiet. I'm going to kill you Matt." Steve walked away slowly with Matt.

"NO!!" Sydney was balling. She couldn't stand if Matt died.

"Stay back all of you! Or I'll kill him!" Steve walked Matt to his families old house.

Sydney followed. If there was anyway she could stop it, she would.

Steve arrived at his old house. "Now time to end it where it started." Steve raises his AK-47 at Matt's head.

"NOO!!!" Matt gets out of his hold, (btw, grabbing me, and controling me is called godmodding. *cough*) and raises gun. "Please, don't kill me. I won't kill you."

"We shall see your fate." Steve shoots his foot.

Sydney looked into the window and saw the sight. She banged loudly on the pane. "Steve!!" She yelled as an added effect

"Now stay still. I will kill you, you ruined me!" Steve raises gun at Matt's head.

Sydney kicked open the door. "Steve, you don't to do this!" She was crying hysterically.

"Ah... Alright..." He stood silent.

"STAY BACK!" Steve points gun at Matt's head still.

"No!!" Sydney yelled as she could. "YOU WILL NOT!!"

Steve shoots him ear off. "Whoops."

Matt tried to hold back tears, but they flew out from his eyes. "Why Steve?... Why?.." He whispered.

Sydney was in shock. Steve really would kill his friend or former friend.

"Now... you will die." Steve smirked at Matt.

Sydney place her hand on her stomach. "Steve don't. Think about me!"

"What about you? I'll get you when I kill him!" Steve aimed at Matt's stomach.

Sydney cried. She hadn't told Matt yet. "Just don't."

(Told Matt what?) "My family died here! Now so will you Matt!"

"Steve no!!" Sydney wasn't sure, but she was maybe pregnant.

"I'm gonna end it here Matt!" Steve put his finger on the trigger. (Think of how to stop it.)

Sydney ran up and tried to tackle him. She was smaller, but it was worth a shot.

Steve pushed her back. "Stay back. I'm gonna shoot both of you if you don't leave me alone."

Sydney cried and cried. She couldn't live if she witnessed another murder. "Shoot me first then."

"Never. I care about you. Not him." Steve puts finger on the trigger again.

Sydney grabbed him. "Don't shoot."

"Or what? I'll be happy and free." Steve sighed.
