"She's here?" Sydney remembered her. "God."

"I sensed something with that nurse from the beginning." Steve sighed.

"Can someone fill me in?" He whispered.

"When we were in the hospital the first time, she was the nurse." Sydney remembered alot about her.

"Hm... a nurse..."

"I sensed something different about her though." Steve pondered for a moment. "Maybe she's not as she appears."

"Weapon. In her coat."

Sydney stared at both of them. "Wow."

"Should we leave? Or fight?" Steve asked.

"Well lets look at our odds. You're a ghost, I don't have a weapon, and Matt and X over there are dead to the world." Sydney was always pessimistic towards things like this.

"Right..." Steve hoped back onto the car.

Sydney started to grow warm. She hadn't felt like herself since she and Matt when into the house.

"Hmmm... I sense things I never sensed when I was alive. Somethings wrong here." Steve asked.

"What?" Sydney was curious. She started to become extremely sensitive to heat. "It's really hot."

"Well I can't feel heat but..." Steve reads the thermometer. "It is hot." Steve turned on the AC.

(..Two pages. In a single day. Full of one-liners. Eeeeeeeeeek.)

Taryn sighed, noticing the group seemed to have left the car and house for a little while, turned around, and walked off. Nana then walked past the car, humming the ACDC (hometown) theme from MegaMan Battle Network 4.

"The person I sensed left now. Evil the spirit is." Steve sighed.

Matt finally drove off again. "Finally! What took you guys so long?! I took a whole freaking nap! Geez!" He said frustrated.

"Shut up Matt." Sydney was tempted to smack him. She didn't feel comfortable with Matt hounding her, but today she was especially irratible. "What's your problem?"

"Oh, nothing. I just get angry easily." This was a fact about Matt. He got angry at a lot of things.

"Fine." Sydney crossed her arms over her chest and stared at Matt defensively.

"Hey! Look! It's New York, and the soldiers have moved out! YES!" He screamed happily.

Sydney turned her gaze and put her arms down. She was ready to jump out at any second if anything were to happen or she couldn't stand it.

"Alright. Finally, we are here. My house..." Matt drove into the driveway. "Ah, the good feeling of home. The thing is, we will have to be back to war soon."

"Yeah." It had been awhile since they fought, and she was eager to fight anyone. Sydney had a little problem with behavior and violence.

"I'm not stepping into my enemies house." Steve stands on curb.

Sydney rolled her eyes and walked in the building

(...I have a feeling i'll never get the chance to have Sea or Nana interact with anyone..)

(Eh, just try ) Matt walked into the apartment. "Ah... Such nice memories..." Matt said while he examined his house. This was probably the last time in a long time where he could sleep at his house again.

(Did try. You guys just drove off when i tried, dood. I'm so far behind it's quite insane. Where the heck ARE you guys?)

(♫Our house, In the middle of the street!♫ Lol jk, we are at my house) Matt remembered something about his house. He could not let any of them see it.

(...And where were you before, when Taryn was spyin' on ya?)

(On the way to my house, but we stopped at subway)

Nana noticed the car leaving, just when she got to Subway, and sighed, "..I'm too late to find anyone.. Oh well. Time to follow them! Maybe they're soldiers!" she then looked around for her bike, that she had left at Subway the day before, and followed the car, on her bike. ()

Matt layed Sydney and X down on the living room sofas, and rushed to his room. "Jen... They can't see the pictures of me and her.. Oh, the past life.." He began to tear up.

Nana eventually stopped when she lost the car. "Darn!" she exclaimed, then looked around, before taking a turn, and ending up seeing the car parked outside a house. "Oh no.." she gasped, "If they're soldiers.." Sea then popped up, from behind a bush, near the car, "A house! Bloody perfect!" he grinned, before looking for a way in. "..Oh. Oh hell."

Matt stared at the pictures of him and Jen for a while. "Sorry, but you most go down..." He teared the pictures down, and stored them into a cabinet. "Hopefully, there will be no room raiders.."

Sydney woke up. "Where's Matt?" She got up and started to wander around and realized something was in her pocket. A locket? Suddenly she remembered Josh. She had never stopped loving him, and she remembered when he gave it to her at her mother died. She started to cry.

Matt acted innocent as he walked back to the room to check if they are awake. "Sydney!" He ran to her side. "What's wrong?" He began to worry.

"Nothing, it's nothing." Sydney wiped up her tears and put the locket back in her pocket. She wasn't going to tell Matt how much loved Josh. She got up. "I need to go."

Matt was concerned. It was a very unusually spontaneous decision of her. "To where sweety?" He asked innocent. "We should get some rest. I planned an attack on a nearby base I know of.."

"I'm going on a walk." Sydney started walking out the door. She stared blankly foward and refused to look at Matt when she talked. "I'll be back soon."

"A-a-alright...." Matt said as the door shut behind her. "Well, I guess i can remember the old times..." Matt slowly walked to his room.

Sydney got outside and sat on the curb. The locket almost fell from her pocket as she sat, so Sydney picked it up and put it on. "Hey Josh. It's been some time. Well, I can't say I much to you, but I love you." Sydney grabbed the locket and started to cry.

Matt reached into the cabinet for the pictures of Jen. "Jen... I'm sorry... I ran off, and when we saw each other again, you were killed..." Matt started to tear up. "We were together for so long, but I ruined it.." Matt cried in his bed, staring at the pictures.

Sydney stood up and started to walk. She didn't know where or how long, but she just kept walking. "Sydney!!" Sydney turned around to see Josh's brother Mika running toward her.

"You will always be in my heart..."

"Mika!" Sydney ran and met him in a hug. "I haven't seen you for a while." Mika and Sydney in the same platoon when they were in basics. He introduced her to Josh. "Mika, what's up?"

Matt slid the pictures under his bed.

Sea then ran past Sydney and co, then stopped. He had seen her leave the house. "Yo! Am I glad to see you! I was worried everyone had.. Wait a sec.. Who are you guys?"

Nana, on the other hand, got off her bike, and went up to the door. "..I hope i'm not disturbing anyone.." she mumbled, knocking on the door.

"I quit." Mika brushed her hair back behind her ear. Mika held her close. "Quit the military? Wow, I'm impressed." Sydney jumped slightly and ruffled his hair.

Matt ran to the door. "Who is it?" He said before answering. If it was a soldier, he would absolutely go rage on them.

Sydney turned around to see Sea. "Umm.. hello? Who are you?"

Sea blinked, "Oh, well. You can, uhh, call me.. Sea! My real name's Arthur Sealando, but everyone calls me Sea, for short."

Nana jumped, "Umm! I'm.. Nana.. I was wondering if anyone lived here.."

"Hey, I'm Sydney Andell." Sydney, still wrapped in Mika's arms, attempted to turn more to see him. "Sealando is a cool name. Just thought I'd tell you. This is Mika Vegros."

"Well Nana, yes. I live here. The name's Matt. I'm a general for the rebebls, and if your a soldier, I shall kill you now." Matt brought his gun out.

"S-Soldier..? K-Kill..?" Nana whimpered, "I'm not a soldier!" she cried, sounding a bit afraid. (Timid characters for the bleedin' win.)

Sea nodded, "Nice to meet you! So.. Where'd you guys live?"

Mika looked at him. "We don't live together." He would love Sydney to live with him. He could provide the life she never had. "I live a block in that direction." Mika pointed east. "I go where the war takes me." Sydney looked at the building Matt was at. "I guess it's how it should be."

"Ah, no worries. If your not a soldier, come on in!... I think.." Matt shook Nana's hand.

Sydney smiled at Sea. She guess he was like her, nowhere to go, not much to say. She thought about of if she took the two to Matt, how he would he react. Mika was wondering where she was staying. "You two could stay with me."

Sea blinked, "Uh.. Probably not. I'd probably mess up your house, like did with mine! Eheheh.." To be honest, he didn't really want to stay with anyone. He was always worried he'd make a mess.

Nana nodded, "T-Thank you.. Mister Matt.."

"Oh, no need to call me mister! Just Matt!" He smiled and patted Nana's back.

Nana smiled, very faintly, "Okay.." (Oh yes, i'm changing Nana's age. Why? Because i feel like it. She's 14 now, 'kay-o?)

(There, changed it.)

Nana walked inside, and looked around, "Y-You live here, Matt..? Looks nice.. My house got raided by soldiers.. An orange haired girl killed my parents.. After that, i dunno what happened.. But i woke up, covered in blood, in my living room.." she then shivered.

Matt gasped at what he heard. "My... my house got raided too... Except I ran away... Soldiers killed my parents..."

Nana nodded, before a tear fell from her eye. "..I wasn't fast enough to save my parents.. Or even escape.."

Xemnas appeared before them. "Grettings, Sea and Nana. I am Xemnas, or X, for short. Pleased to make your acquaintance." He held out his hand to shake.

"Alright, glad we all met." Matt put up a thumbs up.

Sydney started toward Matt's house when Mika put his arm around. "Guess you're coming with me."

Matt walked to his room and layed down. He looked at the blank white ceiling, where the pictures used to be. "I can't believe your dead now...." Matt said quietly to himself.

Sydney got to the house. Mika was still on her shoulder. "Mika, I feel uncomfortable."

Matt held back his tears and stared out the window. He saw the alleyway where Jen and him would meet sometimes, the pizzeria that he took her for the first, yet crappiest date, and more things that reminded him of Jen.

"Sydney, you are the sister I wanted." Mika was sincere about this. Even though they were the same age, Sydney was like his younger sister. He felt as if he needed to provide for her.

"I think I should find Sydney to take my mind off of this..." Matt said trying to shake off the depressed feeling. He walked to the front door.

Xemnas walked to Matt. "Matt... remember, she's looking at you from above. That 'Jen' girl." He paused. "Shake off the sadness feeling! I've had many close people who've died, and my unknown parents. But I haven't lost hope. You shouldn't either."

Sydney through his arm off her. "Just get off me." Mika was confused. "Why?" Sydney started to tear up. "Because if Josh was still alive, I would love him."

"Shhhhhhh! Quiet about it! I need to talk to you privately later X." He was angry at X for finding out Matt's sadness.

"Fine. As you wish." He went into the house and sat on the nearest chair he could find.

"Sydney, he's gone." Mika felt bad. He knew they loved each other. She hugged her. Sydney started to cry more.

Matt looked out the front door, and called for Sydney. "Sydney!!! Oh, Sydney!!! Where are you?!" He was getting worried about where she was.

Sydney broke away and wiped up her tears. As she started walking, Mika grabbed her arm. "Sydney, wait."

"Seriously... Sydney?..." His voice was soft, and full of sadness. He didn't have anyone... This 'walk' of hers, felt like an eternity.

Xemnas sat there, not interfering with Matt's affairs. "You're never alone, Matt," he said to himself. "You have Jen."

Sydney pulled away again and walked to Josh's grave. Mika walked closely behind making sure she was safe.

"No I don't! She is dead now!" Matt cried. "Jen is gone... and there is nothing I can do about it." He cried more and locked himself in his room.

"He heard..." Xemnas walked onto the porch.

"One of the things I regret/don't regret. Leaving Jen's side.. I left her, and we split, but on the other hand, I found Sydney..." He said with a half smile, half sad face.

Sydney arrived at the graveyard. She was slumped over in sadness and started to bawl hysterically when she saw "JOSHUA THOMAS VEGROS" etched into the tombstone.

"Ugh, Jen didn't even get to be buried! She was just left on the battlefield, and I never saw her again!" He cried hysterically.

Sydney stopped crying and tore the locket from her neck. She never looked inside so she decided to now. It was a note.

"Matt..." he knocked on his door. "Are you well in there? I am sorry to intrude."

"Please X. No hard feelings, but I would like some time alone..." He said getting the pictures of Jen from under his bed.

Sydney stuck the note in her pocket and walked towards Matt's house.

"Thanks..." Matt stared at the pictures, and a tear slowly rolled down his cheek. It landed on her picture.

"...Right." He sat back down on the previous chair.

Sydney arrived back at the house. She was goting to read the note as soon as she was inside. Then she opened the door.

"I wonder whose there..." Matt slid the photos back under, and ran to the door, clear of tears. "Sydney!"

"Hey, sorry I was gone so long." Sydney face was still red from crying. "I lost track of time."

"Sydney. We were worried sick." Xemnas stands up, and walks to Matt and Sydney. "Your face is red..."
