well...for the tournament, hear me out guys, you can create a chart. Obviousely I mean a tournament grid and basically, whoever gets paired up should decide when to battle, but try to do it as soon as possible. Then one of the players update who won then whoever is in control of the grid will update the grid. or this reason however, the tournament may take a week or more but everyone can battle within his/her schedule. Just don't try to hold the entire tournament back though.
The only thing we still need to be positive on is the date to run the tournament. While it can take place over two days if necessary, I'd say that it will have to be sometime in November.
Don't worry. Eventually, these monthly tourneys will be always on the Xth Saturday of each month, the games will be predictable, and a 64-player bracket will be formed each time.

Don't reveal your team!
It doesn't have to be a single day. It could be a week and each day is a new level of the bracket until it gets near the bottom.
Say 64 people join. Elimination style (where only the top places are determined):
Day 1: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Day 2: 16 battles (32 competitors)
Day 3: 8 battles (16 competitors)
Day 4: 4 battles (8 competitors)
Day 5: 2 battles (4 competitors)
Day 6: 1 battle (2 competitors) - 1st and second awarded
Say 64 people join. Full style (where all 64 places are determined):
Day 1: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Those who won battle for upper 32 places; those who lost battle for lower 32 places.
Day 2: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Now for each group of 16.
Day 3: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Now for each group of 8.
Day 4: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Now for each group of 4.
Day 5: 32 battles (64 competitors)
Now for each pair.
Day 6: 32 battle (64 competitors) - All 64 places awarded.
It might seem a bit cofusing, but only the judges have to worry about the bracket.

Okay, first of all, please stay on topic.
Now down to business... I'm still kind of undecided on how I'm gonna set it up, though I was leaning more towards a double elimination type bracket. Still not sure how I'm gonna pull that off. I'll probably daydream about it tomorrow during school.
Two more things: No, you will not be able to switch out one Pokémon for another in between battles. I have a way to know if you are (kind of). 2nd, you can vote next tournament if you want double or singles again. As of right now, it's going to be a lvl. 50 all 6 on 6.
Anyway, I have a suggestion: if you would like to talk about your teams (for whatever reason you may have...) take it to Pokémon General. I personally wouldn't, but I guess that's your choice.
The only reason I offered cards was because I had plenty to give away for free. Now, if you'd like to donate towards a more expensive prize, be my guest. I don't know about you, but I am not going to just hand out a $10 item to someone who just randomly finds the tournament video, has no idea who I am, joins, makes one or two posts, and wins.

As of now, there is a limit of 100 posts per page.
