I don't know. But I do play on purchasing Floatzel.net. Maybe I'll find a use for it soon. I doubt I would move the site because of the fanbase and external linkage I already have. But that doesn't mean I won't refer to it as the Floatzel site.

Hmm. The topic was revived SOMEHOW and it was turned into a thread of "I got my username from..." SO since I've recieved a few questions about it I figure this is a good place to clarify.

MtDH is an acronym for a manga I draw. I think it'd make a good video game someday...(hint hint). Lite comes from three things A. Many usernames out there are SOME combination of dark, dragon, or BOTH. And that's frickin' boring. So I corrupted Light and threw it in there as my username. B. I was given the nicknmae Lite because I was the few of my friends with a DS Lite at the time of its release. C. Lite is a character from the aforementioned manga.

As for Lite The Iron Man...? That just sounds AWESOME. So I made it up.

Although this change hardly seems to have occurred overnight, since two other Pokemon are also above Buizel in the list. Unless you had a lobotomy or something...?

From what Ive heard/read, you go to a school called A-Tech, in Nevada, with yoshi, where everyone plays Pokemon(I seriously wish it were like that for me...)

What I was wondering is what your majoring in, what year you are, etc.

And does everyone really play Pokemon?

I went to A-Tech last year. Now I go to UNLV (University of Nevada - Las Vegas), freshman year.

I'd say roughly 20% of A-Tech (folks I knew at least) liked Pokémon. About 70% were neutral, and the other 10% need to see my AAPA article.

My favorite part in that movie is when Hammy applies the Theory of Relativity by drinking a MASSIVE can of cola, then walking past the now-slowed down lazers by taking a stroll.

Yes, that rather outdated site is in fact it. I remember visiting that page when Hurricane Katrina was about to hit, right before the 2005 school year started, to get information on classes and such and it looked exactly the same as it does now (with much older articles, of course).

In fact, in my web design class last year, which wasn't that great, we had a contest of which group could re-design the best new homepage for the school. About half of the groups created sites that looked even more outdated and the other half either used technologies that messed up in different browsers or technologies that required plugins.

They have lounges. You can bring in game systems whenever they're open and just connect them to the TVs. Today, Yoshi648 brought N64 and we played Mario Kart 64 and Vigilante 8. Three weeks ago, I brought a Wii and played a variety of onboard games including Japanese Rumble, some classic Mario games, and an Atari emulatorl; I also brought and played Pokémon Battle Revolution (no Brawl on purpose).

Also, they've got fast food restaurants, like Burger King and Taco Bell. Classes are all on your own schedule (3 days a week for me and Yoshi). The campus is nice and large (PokéWalker time). Class can end early if the teacher wants it to. And if the teacher doesn't show up, you can ditch class!

I've heard that for quite a few colleges, that's what it's like. So, when you go to college, try setting yourself up with a condensed schedule; it helps a lot.

At least they have current news.

Woodbridge High (and while I'm at it, the rest of my district's high schools) suck. Nearly everything is outdated- the buildings, the technology, everything. The standards are even outdated- In a neighboring district (which I transferred from) Algebra 1 is commonly taken by 7th graders, who then move onto Geometry in 8th grade, and so on. Very few 7th graders are left in Pre-Algebra, unless they're transferring in from another district or were flunked. However, here, Algebra 1 JUST became standard for incoming freshman. It's really weird. Let's also not forget the fact every single computer is still running on Windows 2000 and are verrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy crash happy.

We do have one nice computer lab though. It's full of iMacs, and I think they're from 2007, so somewhat recent.

You've been in hurricane katrina? ORLY?!
No, I was watching it on the news, worrying about relatives in that area.

Nevada's standards are close to that. Algebra I is the freshman requirement in high school. But when I was in 7th grade, we had an online system, where each student went at their own pace. (The system is still online: ALEKS.) The teacher could manually adjust "classes" based on test scores. Because I did so well on the entrance exam, I was placed in geometry. It was too easy, so the teacher bumped it up to Trigonometry & Pre-Calculus...in seventh grade. Compare that with the student to my left, who was bumped down to 3rd Grade Math. I've still got print-outs of my cylinder problems, Pythagorean Theorem work, and even some annoying optimization problems. (I STILL HATE OPTIMIZATION and I'm in freshman year of college!)

If you ever complain about algebra being too hard in seventh grade, you better think again, because there is always pre-Calculus.

Edit: Wow, my username and password still work! It says I'm not enrolled in any active classes, but I'm still in the database!

Oh, that system wasn't owned by the school. That was just a system that they used.

That sounds like a really cool system. Under that, I wouldn't have wasted time taking what was essentially trigonometry two years in a row. Our school is currently panicking trying to figure out what to do with sophomores who are currently taking Calculus BC, the highest course offered by the district. Thankfully, I'll be out before that headache.

I swore to myself that the first week off from school this winter break will be when I go through it. I posted a comment on the video saying that.

May months back, it was a contest where people submitted contests to be put on the first real Mario Paint album.
