Revya grinned, "Keldeo.. You can battle next time, or if a certain someone faints.. Ace, it's up to you!" he threw up a gold pokeball, and his Riolu was sent out. "Rio! Riolu!" he raised a paw, and did an epic pose. Keldeo seemed to facepalm.

"Quilava, Wild charge!" Quillava Jumped back and started runnning. Sparks came around quilava and the parks intensified as Quilava got closer to Ace.

"Ace! Detect, then counter with Aura Sphere, Rapid Fire!" Revya commanded. His Riolu used Detect, to dodge the Wild Charge, then rapid fired Aura Spheres at the Quilava. "Rioluuuuuu!" Ace cried, 'grinning'.

"Quilava, Keep Wild Charge going!" Mira said. Although quliava was a bit confused, it did as she said. Mira knew she was going to lose, but this battle was quite fun. Not one battle she did was boring. An aura sphere hit quilava and quilava stopped running."Quil..." Quilava finally fell down in exaustion.

Ace walked over to Quilava, and offered a hand up. "Need a hand?" he asked, in Pokemon Language. Gallade sent himself out, similar to how Wabafet (..Didn't spell that right..) sends itself out in the anime.

*Wobuffet) Quilava Took Ace's paw and got up. Mira Walked over to Revya"great match!" She said. Mira held out her hand

Revya shook the hand. "..I won. I actually won.." he smiled, "..I could beat a finalist.." he thought to himself, "I must have gotten lucky or something.." he continued to think, silently. "So, Mira.. I wonder who would have won the tournament, if all of us finalists fought against eachother?"

"Well lets see." Mira thought for a moment and quilava jumped onto her shoulder."Well everyone thinks and battles differnetly. If everyone fought everyone..."mira shook her head."It would be more of a horse race. People would bet on one person. Only one would win. so it wouldn't be a battle. It would bemore of a big bet."Mira explained. Quilava was confused, so his eyes were spinning.

"Meh. Probably." Revya replied, "We should go to the cabins, and rest." he added. Unlike the finalists, Dead and Revya didn't have cabins.

"It's a big ship. if you can't find you cabin, don't be afraid to come into mine." Mira said kindly. She went to cabin and sat on the bottom bunk. Quilava Curled up in a basket she made out of A small blanket. He loved it alot."Lava..." Quilava said with satifaction."He will win for sure!" Mira said. Although she was very determinded to win, she saw a winner in him.

Mira sighed. It had been a long day, yet a good one. She let everyone out and feed them. She had some steak. "Pokemon will always by your side. They won't abandon you. Their your best friends that fight for you. They protect you." She muttered to herself. Her mom and dad were overjoyed when she had recived the pokemon egg. Her mom told her those words, and she rembered them.

Lignum finally awoke and walked out of Nanami's cabin. Having fallen asleep, he had completely lost his bearings, so he decided to walk in one straight direction, not taking any diverging paths. After walking a ways, he managed to reach the back of the ship. He could overlook the ocean behind them, and the sun setting under the horizon was a beautiful scene.

Lignum called out all his Pokemon and prepared them for training. Vileplume, Ludicolo, Roserade, and Whimsicott all came out, joyous as ever, and looking out on over the sunset.

"Alright, everyone, it's time to get cracking. It's not like this expedition will be easy...we'll need all the power we can get. We need to..."

Almost immediately, the sunset was clouded by storm clouds that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Before anyone realized it, the ship was drenched with rain and the seas were churning with a force like rage. Lignum held onto the handrails in horror as the Pokemon held onto Lignum's legs. Lignum looked over the edge, finding a weird shadow in the water.

"Roserade! Hurry, use Sunny Day! We've gotta clear up this storm!" Lignum shouted over the roaring of the falling rain. Roserade's petals began to shine, and the glittering orbs rose into the sky and through the clouds. But, after waiting a minute, the sun didn't return, and the rain seemed to pour harder than ever. The shadow in the water began to fidget violently, until a massive Kyogre jumped out of the water and roared...

Quilava awoke along with the rest of the gang, who had fallen asleep. Everyone rushed out to see the Mighty Kyoger Roaring. "This can't just be concidence. Their has got to be some reason with these pokemon attacks." Mira told herself, already soaked with her other pokemon. "Quilava, Wild charge! Magmotar, Thunder bolt! Larvesta, Acrobatics! Flareon, Double team then Shadow ball!" Mira commaned. Although the rain Bugged her pokemon as much as it did her, they wanted to get rid of it as soon as they could.Flareon andquilava had no intentions to use their flames, so They looked a bit odd.

Lignum held as tightly as he could as the boat rocked sporadically. Mira seemed to be struggling with her Fire Pokemon to get them to their maximum potential with the rain roaring around them.

"Mira! Can you hear me!? That Kyogre's out of control! Normal attacks aren't going to hurt it - we need to attack in tandem in order to subdue it!"

Despite the strengthening wind, Mira seemed to acknowledge him. Lignum sent Ludicolo out first, who seemed to be not bothered at all by the wind. He also sent out Whimsicott, who seemed to be able to stand his ground despite the raging winds.

"Ludicolo, use Focus Blast! Whimsicott, distract the Kyogre with Substitute!" Lignum called. Ludicolo formed a high-energy orb in its arms, while Whimsicott flew down towards the Kyogre, who fired with Ice Beam. The beam crystallized Whimsicott before he could attack, and Whimsicott fell back on the boat, frozen and fainted.

"S-such...raw power..." Lignum groaned. Ludicolo fired its Focus Blast, only to be rebounded back with its Hydro Pump, aiming it back to Ludicolo and, like Whimsicott, knocking him out. The Kyogre, clearly irritated, dove back underwater and sent a huge tidal wave towards the ship. The wave rose above the height of the ship, and cast the two trainers in its domineering shade...

Revya jumped up, and stared at the large pokemon, "..Oh hell." he mumbled, before checking his Pokemon's moves, to check if any of them knew Thunder. Unfortunately, they didn't.

Nanami walked out of her cabin, with her Melotta, who knew Thunder, luckily. "..Etro, Thunder on Kyogre." Nanami commanded.

Revya saw Dead using the TM on Zig, and sighed. "If only i had a pokemon that could use electric type mov- Oh yes! I have something better! Gallade, Deuce, I need your help!" he then sent out Deuce and Gallade, both knowing GRASS type moves.

"hmm why is a Kyogre doing in the middle of nowere strange"

"..It's a water type, and we're in the sea." The captain popped up behind Dead, "Ahoy. You tryin' to be beatin' Kyogre? Yar be needin' Thunder, in order to deal loads of damage!.. But other electric type moves work too."

Krogre looked at Dead and Zig, and shot a Hydro Pump at them. Etro used Thunder, weakening it a bit more, but the Hydro Pump was still heading straight for Dead, Zig, and the Captain. "YARRRR. I BE ABANDONIN' SHIP!" the Captain yelled, jumping into the sea.

Kyrogre used Dive, and hid under the water, then blasted the Captain up, into the air, using Hydro Pump. Pyschic missing it, of course. "Yarr. 'Dis be one a me worse nightmares. Yarr." the Captain sighed.

Kyrogre continued to hide under the water, from Dead, Nanami and their pokemon.

"i have a bad felling about this"

"Magmotar, Thunderbolt, Right on the water!" Mira commanded

"what in the water but theres over water pokemon in the water"

Mira thought. " Nevermind Magmotar." Mira rembered that their were more pokemon in the water that the kyoger. How could they make sure that Kyoger didn't rise agian? "Flareon. If you see any Pokemon that could harm the boat cme out of the water, use Shadow ball." Mira said. Flareon understood what she said so it rain around every side of the boat looking for a okemon that could do damage.

"hmm better go check the engine if i can find it"

Lignum searched about the surface of the water for any trace of Kyogre's shadow, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen. To think that a wild Pokemon could be this clever...

Vileplume and Roserade were holding on tightly to Lignum's legs, when suddenly, the boat rocked more turbulently than it had ever been before. Everyone screamed, as Lignum looked over the edge to find that his side of the boat was rising above the water! Under it, he again saw Kyogre's shadow, and it became evident that the Kyogre was pushing the boat around in order to rid of them once and for all. Screeching, the Kyogre slowly pushed the hull further up until the trainers began to start to slip. Lignum began to think of ways to get the Kyogre underwater again, or even just away from the ship. However, no one could take a move to get the Kyogre away without hitting the ship.

Suddenly, from Lignum's belt, Whimsicott's Pokeball rolled out and released his defrosted, yet terribly battered Pokemon. Whimsicott held onto the railing, panting and groaning, but with a determined look in its eyes. Whimsicott was ready to fight, though he was weakened beyond anything he had experienced. Lignum thought a moment, and then he realized a course of action...but it would be risky.

"Everyone! Hold on to the railing, and call back your Pokemon if they have a weak grip!" Lignum called. Immediately, the Trainers took the course of action and held on tightly to the railing. Lignum called Vileplume and Roserade back, and sent Whimsicott to prepare. Whimsicott glided down to the surface of the water, where he assumed his position. The Kyogre seemed to not be deterred by Whimsicott's presence, though all the more better for Lignum's plan.

"Here we go! Whimsicott, NOW! Use Hurricane!"

Mira didn't think for one second."Magmotar Thunderbolt ton the max!!!" Mira said. She ordered all of her pokemon to use the most effective move on Kyoger.

The wind from Whimsicott's Hurricane blew to a ferocity that almost swept Lignum off his feet, had he not been holding on to the railing. Mira's Magmortar's Thunderbolt completed the storm, in which the raging winds, pouring rain, and the electrifying thunderstorm created the perfect storm. With this, the boat too was swept up into the air, while Kyogre flew along with it in the vortex. The thunder from the dark storm clouds made contact with Kyogre in every area imaginable, and yet, it still was raging!

The Kyogre pulled back and fired a Hydro Pump at Mira's Magmortar, who was still using Thunderbolt. Lignum quickly grabbed his Roserade's Pokeball, and sent it to defend Magmortar by using Energy Ball to block the Hydro Pump for a decent deal of time.

Whimsicott flew about in the air, making the winds pick up and the ship and Kyogre rise higher into the sky. However, the Kyogre wouldn't have any of it. The Kyogre spun around and fired a full-power Ice Beam at Whimsicott, making another direct hit and knocking Whimsicott out of the battle. With this, things could only get worse as the winds died down and sent the Kyogre and the ship plummeting down towards the ocean...

"Larvesta, Phychic!" Mira Said. Larvesta used Psychic to make sure that the boat landed saftey. Larvesta Struggled it's Phychic attack. " C'mon Larvesta! You can do it!" She Encoraged larvesta.

Nanami tossed Dead a revive she had obtained, "..Here." she simply mumbled, while tossing it. "Etro. Thunder, repeatedly." she commanded, her Meloetta repeatedly using Thunder on Kyrogre.
Revya looked at the other trainers, "..Man, i really should pick up an electric type some day. Anyway. Deuce, Razor Leaf, Gallade, when it gets close, Leaf Blade!"

Finally the boat landed saftley, thanks to Larvesta who was already worn out. "Rest up girl." Mira said to her Larvesta. " Quilava, Wild charge!" Mira said. Flareon Kept up it's shadow Ball while Magmotar kept up its Thunder bolt. Larvesta was on Mira's back and decided to use Acrobatics on Kyoger." Fine Larvesta. Use Accrobatic!" Mira said.

Kyogre roared, surfaced, and used Hydro Pump on Larvesta, or tried. "Gallade, Pyschic! Direct the water somewhere else!" Revya ordered, his Gallade trying to use Pyschic to direct Kyogre's Hydro Pump back at it.

"cudnt we just scare it or something?"

"No. Kyogers are alot more Braver than that." Mira Told Dead. "Ugh. Water pokemon are attacking alot." Mira complained.

"Freeze it?"

"DEAD!" Mira Said Despratly. "Do you have a pokemon that can use Sheer Cold?" Mira asked. If it did, then It could sink into the ocean, and It would take time for it to thaw out.

Kyoger Dives underwater. "Somthing doesn't seem right...Like it's being controled by somthing..." Mira Muttered to herslef. " Everyone!" Mira's pokemon looked at her." Try to keep it still!"

Suddenly, Mira had it."Dead. Take my Waterproof Camera.Give it to swampert and ask it totake pictures." Mira said, Giving him the Camera. She hoped he would do the job.

Mira really only had that waterproof Camera, because she loved to take pictures of pokemon flying over the water. She only had one picture on it, but Mira never really DID Look at it. She forgot about the picture, witch urgder her to she the picture.

"Thanks" She said She looked thorugh the pictures. and finally found out whats wrong with it. " Dead. There is somthing stuck by it's mouth. we have to get it out. Perhaps it might calm down" Mira said. She gave the object a good look. It looked like a fishing net with alot of barbs in it. She felt sorry for the poor thing.

"wonder how can we get it out?"

" We need a small pokemon that can burn the net. It seems to be consisted of rope and Steel" Mira said, looking at quilava, who seemed ready for this challenge." You sure Quilava?" Mira asked." LAVA!" It said, rasing it's paw.

" Quilava. Want swapert to get you their?" Mira asked Quilava. Quilava nodded, For it hated water more than mud." Alright! Quilava will ride on Swampert to get to Kyoger and Help it!" Mira said

Quilava went over to the net and hung on with it's life! Quilava Shot a few embers at the rope, and a bit inciinerated. Mira watched closely, for if quilava fell, quilava miht drown. Quilava only shot embers in order to not hurt Kyoger. But it still rampaged. "Please kyoger! I won't hurt you, I promise!" Mira muttered. As quilava Burnt the net, the kyoger rampaged moe and it was getting herder for the net to burn because of the water. Quilava didn't give up. " Quilava!" Quilava Struggled to reason with it. Quilava was losing it's grip...

Just then, Nanami threw two pokeballs into the water, her Empoleon being sent out first, with her Infirnape on top of it, riding it like a surfboard. "..Help Quilava." Nanami ordered.

Quilava was hanging on with only one paw. It despritaly switched its paw. "...Lava..." Quilava gritted through it's teeth. "Hang in their quilava! Somone Is going to help you!" Mira shouted to it as Infernape riding empoleon came to Save Quilava. Quilava stayed put, only occasionly moving it's Paws to stay on Kyoger.

"Gallade, take the stage too, and use Pyschic to help out!" Revya sent out Gallade, who used his Pyschic to try to help Quilava stay on.

Quilava stayed on kyoger thanks to Gallade and burned the rest of the net just before Infernape helped Quilava off of kyoger. Kyoger seemed to stop rampaging a bit. " Thanks for saving Quilava" Mira said to Nanami. She hoped Kyoger would settle down, or slowly stop Rampaging.

Nanami nodded, "..Whatever. Just so you know.. That boy, with the Gallade.. He wasn't in the tournament. I looked at the tournament grids.. He never appeared on any of them."

Mira was shocked. Not vbecasue he had beaten him, he somhow had gotten onto the boat. She quikly pulled out her camera and got some pictures of the Kyoger before it vanished into the waters of the sea. " Well, then how did he get onto the boat?" She asked full of confusion. Perhaps he snuck on or somthing. She looked at her camera and deleted the pictues of kyoger that were completely useless to her, except for the kyoger one. She rewmbered her camera was handed down from her dad. She looked at the other picture only to find a lovely picture of a milotic emeging from water. She still wondered how Reyva had gotten on the ship.

"..You see his rollerblades? He probably snuck on.. What an idiot.." Nanami sighed, "..He didn't even enter, by the way."

Revya turned around, and heard what Nanami said, "..What..?" he was amazed. "..Caught already..?" he mumbled.

" Wow look at me!" Mira joked. She was basically saying Wow How come I didn't know that? I'm so stupid. " Yeah I guess it's sorta stupid." Mira said. The tornament reminded her what she might do if she lost or won. If she won, their was a good chance she and her pokemon would celebrate. If she lost, she would take picures of pokemon. Quilava was warming up in her bag, witch seemed silly for a fire type.

Revya rollerbladed over, "So, i've been caught already, huh? Surprised i didn't enter, Mira? I prob'ly could have won~"

Gallade sighed, "..Master Revya slept in, and missed the entry deadline.."

Mira frowned. "Well isn't that what alarms are for?" Mira said. She Used an alarm clock so she wouldn't miss the entery deadline. Quilava rubbed Her neck with his paw. Mira looked over and he was holding some of the rope. She looked at it. " Just put that in my bag if you wanna keep it." She said to quilava. It was only five inches long, so it would be more of a memory. She looked at the sunset. The sun was a blood red color, and the clouds were a creamy orange. She took a photo of it.

Lignum found himself back in his room, his eyes as heavy as ever. He was flat on his back on his plushy bed, so getting out of it was definitely not enjoyable. He couldn't remember anything, besides that there was a Kyogre outside...what could have possibly happened?

Lignum's Pokemon were resting all about the cabin, and, upon further inspection, the clouds had cleared up and the Kyogre was calmed. Lignum decided to see what was going on outside.

Once outside, he saw Mira, Revya, and Nanami all standing there, having a conversation. Something was odd, though. He seemed to have some recollection, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Um...hello...e-excuse me for asking, b-but...I didn't seriously fall asleep outside, did I!?"

Mira knew Dead didn't enter. She saw him come out of a storage crate. "Well. Their is practicay no way to turn back." Mira said. Quilava Went into her bag and took a nap.

"Great-.-....strange i have a very bad felling something bad is going to happen soon dont you zig?"dead says

" OF CORUSE SOMTHINGS GONNA HAPPEN AT NIGHT! FIRST A GYRADOSE THEN A KYOGER, WHATS NEXT A DARKRAI?!" Mira yelled. Her pokemon had no intention to fight anything else. MIra also had no intentions to fight either. Hopefully it was a undisturbed night. She walked over to her cabin and layed on her bunk. The soothing waves made her and quilava tired, but they didn't sleep for that reason. A pokemon may rise and They couldn't help.

Lignum listened to Dead and too felt the sense of impending dread. Though it was night, even he couldn't get to sleep, something that he never had any trouble with before.

With his Pokemon fully healed, Lignum walked out into the slowly darkening night. The stars twinkled in the heavens like candles in the sky. The water rippled like usual, so there wasn't any real trouble in the ocean...it appeared as if the Kyogre had dived back into the deepest depths of the sea.

Lignum stood at the railing, watching the moon rise up into the sky. The scene was imperfect, however, as the darkening shadow of dread continued to loom over the boat...

Mira woke up. Quilava had woken her up. She sighed and they walked over to the right side of the boat. She felt a gentle breeze on her face. It made her feel good. Quilava felt it to, and he yipped quitetly. She looked at quilava. He would never fear the sea, even if he got pulled under by a sharpedo. Quilava looked at the water. He was looking at her charm necklace. The picture inside was somone who he knew. But he didn't speak humane language.

Hearing footsteps to the right side of the boat, Lignum decided to see what was there. He found that it was Mira. Trying to avoid another needless social situation, Lignum attempted to slip away, until Whimsicott yet again popped out of its Pokeball and squealed. Mira looked at the two, while Lignum struggled to keep his Whimsicott quiet, and, more importantly, off his head. It wasn't long, however, before Lignum noticed that Mira was looking, and Whimsicott was on his head, stroking Lignum's hair.

"Um...hi, Mira..." Lignum said, embarrassed. "Uh...I look ridiculous, don't I?"

"Nah. You don't look ridiculos." Mira told Lignum. Quilava shuffled through her and pulled out the wire to examine it. Mira smiled. Quilava was mischevios and powerful. Not so much on the fast part, but quilava could handle danger.

Mira saw Dead. " Hey Dead!" She shouted to him. She noticed him, well because she and Lignum were the only people on the ship. Mira let quilava Jump over to see him. Quilava Yipped at him Nicely.

Just then, a large beast came up from beneath the ship, sending it flying towards the large island it was already heading to. This was the new region, 'X'. People were getting sent flying, most of them dying, such as the replacement captain, a couple of sailors, and the ship's chef. The finalists, however, survived, and were shattered across the region. (Put yourselves into groups. The REAL FUN starts now~)

Nanami woke up, on the northern tip of the region, her bag full of her Pokemon still on her back, looking around, she evenutally spotted Dead, and later the famous Pokemon Trainer Red. "...." Red said nothing, staring at her. They were inside some sort of jungle, full of grass and bug type pokemon.

Revya and Mira landed on the SOUTHERN tip of the region, resembling the polar ice caps. Revya had landed on a iceberg, and was knocked out on contact. His pokemon were all save inside their pokeballs, even Keldeo.

Mira Groaned. Quilava Landed On top of her,and The blast was quite forceful!. SHe checked to make sure everyone was still in her bag, witch were saftly tucked into her bag. Quilava and Mira looked around. " What to do..." She wondered frightened.
