Emboar gazed at Roblock. he shook his head. "I specifically told you to search for the time flute... yet here you stand before me with a premature Gliscor?!" soon flames ignited his beard.

Before Celebi could answer, a couple of wandering pokemon approached them. their bodies enveloped in purple arua.

Aridos and Galvantula appeared.

Gallade got into position. "Come on!" he said.

Melodi also got into a position, a long Bone appearing in her hand as she prepared her Bone Rush.

"Wait SIR! Watch this Gliscor's power. It can be a HUGE advantage to our plan. Use swords dance x5!"

SWORDS DANCE! SWORDS DANCE! SWORDS DANCE! SWORDS DANCE! SWORDS DANCE!

Now, Emboar, before you decide to faint me or not, do you have anything to test his new Shadow Force on?"

Emboar's flames shrank to normal. "Take him, and find The time flute... NOW! Go, before I change my mind and Faint YOU!"

"Shadow Rush!" shouted the spider-like pokemon. as Ariados charged at Gallade, and Galvantula rushed at Melodi.

"Protect" Gallade said, blocking with his shield, he pushed the Ariados back, and then swung his arm-like blade at the Ariados, striking it hard! The ariados staggered back and fainted. as he did, the dark aura died down a little.

"Too easy?" he said.

"Mystery dungeon pokemon usually have weakened stats... they work best in large groups..." Celebi said.

Melodi held up her Bone Rush to Block the attack. The impact moved her back several feet, but she managed to keep on her feet. She shoved the bone forward, hoping it would make the Galvantula losr it's balance for a moment, then jumped over it, firing a couple of Aura Sphere's as she did, sailing straight for it's back...

"Y-y-y-yes sir! I will go to the lake, as I suspect they are trying to help Uxie. Come on Scoro, we have work to do!"*They rush out of the castle*

They rush out, and head to the lake.

Gliscor mumbles: "I...am...your...humble..servant.."

The Galvantula was struck by the barrage of skillful attacks. It swayed and then fell on it's back and curled up. It had fainted.

A strange victorious music seemed to play and Gallade felt like he suddenly gotten stronger.

"This power..." he said... "I must have leveled up."

"Congratulations..." Celebi said. "Let's get moving."

Gallade traversed through the eerily beautiful dungeon. Zubats that glowed purple hung on the ceiling. the soon dropped down, but Gallade dispatched a psycho cut to stop them in their tracks. the Zubats retreated back onto the ceiling. Advancing further into the dungeon, Gallade and Celebi crossed rivulets that used to glow a twinkling blue... but now were stained and polluted with dark energy....

"We are here. Come. Follow me quietly but fast!" *They begin to run*

A Group of 10 purple glowing Watchogs appear.

"Obey me watchogs."

The watchogs nod, and feel loyalty towards Roblock.

"Follow me watchogs. Use hypnosis on anyone I tell you to, understand?

Watchogs: "Yes master"

"And you Gliscor, you have a charged up swords dance. Be ready to attack."

Melodi looked with an odd fascination at the rivulets. She looked at them for a moment, though she was careful not to touch them. After a moment, she turned and hurried to follow Gallade. That sense of danger was almost constant now, and it was hard for her to tell when they were in any immediate danger or not. She stayed alert and ready to strike, should there be a need to.

Soon they arrived at an opening, where a large pool of water surrounded the area. stones made of crystal, some resting onto the surface, while others were suspended in midair dotted the small lake that radiated a purple color.

"Be careful..." Celebi said. "I sense a powerful presence here."

Gallade looked around and then saw in the center a small shrine where a pokemon lay motionless... it was Uxie.

"Uxie!" Gallade called.

no answer.

Melodi looked out at the motionless form of the legendary Pokemon. She didn't look good... she almost started to move forward, but her sense of danger was warning her to stop. A thought occurred to her. Maybe she didn't have to move forward to see... She closed her eyes and concentrated. The black appendages on her head stuck out, the silver markings gleaming in the odd light. She didn't use her Aura this way very often. She wasn't very good at it, and it always made her a bit dizzy. She started to concentrate on Uxie's still form. After a moment, she opened her eyes again, only to quickly close them, pressing her paws to the side of her head as it started to spin.

"I think she's okay." Melodi said. "She's fainted, but she's alive."

"In there Gliscor, and watchogs. Go get them!"

They all charge at the group of Melodi, Celebi, and Gallade.

"Uxie!" Gallade repeated. this time he rushed forward, hopping onto a crystal stone that rested on the surface.

"Gallade!" Celebi called "What are you...?"

her voice trailed off as the water began to bubble a tummultuous rumble shook the area.

Gallade's eyes shot to the left... then to the right. and then he looked up. nothing was found. the water seemed to be steaming now although it was not hot at all.

"Gallade, heads down!" Celebi said, not meaning to joke.

Gallade looked down and saw a dark object in the water that grew larger and larger until...

SPLASH!

A long, massive pokemon emerged out of the water, launching Gallade into the air.

"aaaaah!" Gallade yelled. he plumetted to the ground where Melodi was. the pokemon, sepentlike arced as it's body snaked in and out of the water. the pokemon had a dark aura and soon, it rose out again. It let out a tummultuous roar that shook the the entire dungeon. it's scales were abnormally red and shiny. it's mouth was gaping wide. it looked "atrocious."

Gallade took a step back. "What is that thing...?!"

Gliscor uses Swords Dance x3 Times, getting stronger by the second. Watchog is using hypnosis and trying to make the group fall asleep.

Melodi took a step back herself, starting to charge an Aura Sphere, when she felt an odd sensation coming from behind her. She almost started to turn, then thought better of it. Instead, she took her Aura Sphere, and hurled it to the side, giving it enough spin to curve around and hopefully hit whatever was behind her.

"It's Gyrados..." Celebi said. "Looks like Emboar summoned it... get ready for b..."

she began to grow drowsy.... until the Gyrados bellowed and caused an "Uproar."

"Thunder Fang!"

His thunder fang is headed straight for Gallade.

Watchog: "HYPNOSIS!" *Directed at celebi*

"Focus Punch!" *Aimed at Melodi

Melodi turned and saw Roblok coming at her, then ducked down underneath the oncoming attack, then started up her Bone Rush and moved to strike him from underneath...

"I don't have time for ths!" Gallade shouted. he was about to strike, but the loud Uproar of Gyrados was distracting him.

(Note: Uproar in the game prevents sleep while in effect.)

Edit: Celebi turned and saw Scoro and Roblock.

"Just when things couldn't get anymore stressful..." she faced Roblock. "You sir are slowly geting on my nerves!" she gathered up a protective veil. "Safeguard!" she shouted, covering her allies with the veil.

Watchogs: "SHADOW FORCE!" The group of 10 all charged at the celebi.

Scoro: "SHADOW FORCE!" He charged again at Gallade

Golurk: "Shadow PUNCH!" He aimed at the Lucario

Melodi cried out as the Shadow Punch made contact, slamming hard into the ground. She rolled to her feet again, starting up another Bone Rush...

The bone was launched at Golurks face, and he stumbled to stay up on his feet. "Again!"

Melodi leaped over Golurk, landing on the other side of him, and thrust her paws out in a Poison Jab attack...

This story is awasome guys! (sorry to interupt)

It contacts golurk, and he is knocked off his feet.

"OW!" "You will pay you maggot! Substitute!"

"Takes one to know one!" Melodi shot back, bringing out her Bone Rush and swinging it like a bat, hoping the damage would be enough to get rid of the substitute...

*Focus Punches right before the substitute fades* "EAT THIS!"

Melodi flew back, hitting the wall across the cave hard. She slid down the wall, then got up slowly as small white stones began to swirl around her, then thrust her arms out, and the Stone Edge attack began to fly towards him at full speed...

Soon the Gyrados' mouth opened and a sparkling ball of light formed in it's mouth. It soon unleashed a great Hyper Beam while shaking his head, causing the beam to fire at every direction his mouth was aimed at, including the whole party of Gallade's and Golurk's.

Gallade dodge rolled the attack. "Haaaa!" he yelled, leaping up high and aiming his blades at the gyrados!

It didn't effect the Golurk, but it hit Scoro hard. He feels like he is about to faint, and he snaps out of the Shadow.

"Woah, what just happened to me? I was working for you Roblock wasn't I?! GRAAAHH!"

He tries to use Sandstorm, but instead it turn into Shadow Rush at Golurk!

Golurk was knocked off his feet.

Melodi jumped up as high as she could to avoid the Hyper Beam, though she couldn't avoid it completely. She dropped to hear knees as she landed, then got up again, starting to gather up a Stone Edge attack...

"Oh god, where are we? Earthquake!" The ground erupts under the Golurk, and he is just barely grabbing onto the edge.

"Should...Should..I... push him off? I can't... Its too painful." *He turns to celebi for advice.

(sorry. Severe t-storm came.)

Celebi, too distracted by Gyrados was tending to Gallade.

The Gyrados had to rest for a few moments, giving Gallade a chance to strike again.

"Psycho Cut!" he yelled, swinging his blade arms that fired crescent waves of energy at the Gyrados. He took the hit, but shook it off. He soon opened his mouth wide and spit a stream of "flamethrower" at Gallade.

"Protect!" he yelled, making his shield appear to block the fire attack. The gyrados lunged at him. Gallade quickly leapt off the stone he was on as gyrados slammed his mouth down onto it and took it underwater. Gallade looked around. Gyrados was nowhere to be found, yet he still stood on guard. the water bubbled below him. he leaped just moments before gyrados emerged with a "dive" attack! Gallade sumersaulted onto a rock suspended in midair as Gyrados crashed back into the water with a tummultuous splash. Soon the water bubbled below him again, and he anticipated it. Gyrados emerged, and Gallade reacted fast.

"Protect!" he yelled. as the two pokemon connected teeth with arm blade sheild. now they were in a fierce lock.

"I won't lose!" Gallade said as he staggered against the gyrados' massive weight. "Haa! eat this, Night Slash!" he swung his other arm at the atrocious pokemon and a slash wound appeared on the side of Gyrados' mouth. he let out a loud roar, giving Gallade a chance. He leapt onto the Gyrados' head.

"Hold still!" he yelled as the Gyrados squirmed like a worm to get Gallade off of him. he soon rammed into a rocky wall, slamming Gallade into the wall. he wouldn't let go, dispite getting seriously hurt. the gyrados soon dove deep into the water... and Gallade held tight... yet his oxygen was depleting. he knew if he stayed longer, he would drown. he let go of Gyrados. and soon Gyrados's body turned purple. he rammed him underwater with a shadow rush so poweful, it took him up into the surface, and launched him straight out of the water like a torpedo. he spiraled into the air, his body silhouetted in the moonlight until he seemed to disappear from view.

"Don't worry Gallade, I can help you! THUNDER FANG!!

Watchogs! PULL ME UP!

Watchogs: *They pull him out of the hole, and blast a huge Crunch at Celebi!

"Reflect!" Celebi shouted. weakening the crunch attack. she was bitten still. she gritted her teeth in pain until she pried the fangs off of her and flew to the air.

"Gallade?" she called.

it was eeirly silent in the air.

"No..." she said.

"Where-wh-where is he? And Melodi? Where are they?!"

The Gyrados growled deeply, glaring at Celebi and Scoro.

*Looks up and sees the huge gyarados above us, ready to attack.* "D-d-d-d-don't worry Celebi. I will protect you"

He is scared out of his mind as the gyarados is staring into my eyes.

Melodi ran along the edge of the cave, keeping her eyes on the battle, her Stone Edge still at the ready. As the Gyarados came down, the white stones moving faster and faster around her.

"Just one hit... Just enough to distract it's attention..."

She thrust her arm out, and the stones flew straight at the Gyarados...

(Sorry I keep coming and going. I'm not supposed to be on the computer all day.)

(It's cool.)

The Gyrados' intimidate abillity was soon disrupted by the sharp jagged stones that flew at it. it staggered back and splashed down into the water... as soon as it seemed like it was finished, it roared back again to the surface and spit flamethrower at the three!

Meanwhile...

"Where... where am I?" Ecchoed Gallade's voice.

"healing... wish.... HEALING WISH.... healing....... wish." murmured Gardevoir's voice.

soon Gallade's eyes opened. he noticed he was plummeting down fast. he saw in distance a pool of water. he made his body streamlined and dove down fast, while pointing his armblade downward. he aimed for gyrados. "Haaaaaaaaah, Night...."

he came striaght down. "....SLASH!"

He struck straight vertically downward and splashed into the water!

Gyrados bellowed loudly... and soon that bellow turned to a moan... and that moan turned into a weak mumble. The gyrados swayed it's head to and fro before it tilted backwards and crashed into the water where it floated there motionless. Gyrados had fainted. the purple aura died down. Gallade emerged onto the water surface and gasped for breath. the water around him began to twinkle and turn a beautiful saphire color.

The light began to envelop around Uxie and soon a bright flash took over all vision.

when it cleared. Uxie hovered above. she then sang a beautiful melody and soon the entire dungeon trembled. every cave sank back into the ground. and the village soon sprouted with life and became colored with beauty. from the fires new buildings were being constructed, returning Village town to it's former glory.

"Phew, that was too close for company." He turns to the Golurk who is staring them all down. "Hey, looks like I still have shadow rush! I suggest you run Roblock!"

"NO! I will complete my masters request with the flute! Hand it over and no one gets hurt!"

"Enough!" Uxie said, facing Golurk. "Have you no grace? Even after the battle was won, and all odds are against you, you still try to fight? Either you are bold, or foolish..."

Gallade faced Uxie. "Okay, I saved you. Now what?"

"Alas, fair hero chosen by Arceus. Your adventure just begun. To the north... a snowy mountain top is your next destination. In there, my brother Azelf waits for you. In my dreams... I contacted my brother and sister, Azelf and Mesprit. We knew this day would come. The day when the war of time would cease permanently."

"okay, how about making some sense?" gallade said.

"To the north, fair hero... is where you want to go. There an ancient tribe lies... waiting for a hero. And... I don't know how long My brother Azelf can hold off on his own. Please, dear hero. You ARE the chosen one. I prophecised that you and your friends would save the world from the lord of fire. Now go forth... fulfill your destiny!"

I-I guess you are right Uxie... Emboar isn't my master. He shouldn't be. Thats it. I quit. I am willing to join you guys. I know, after all the bad thing I have recently did, you guys probably won't accept at first glance.."

Scoro flies for joy.

"YEAH! MY BEST FRIEND HAS COME BACK TO HIS SENSES!!!"

Melodi looked at Uxie, her eyes filled with concern.

"Uxie, many of the surviving villagers were possessed by the shadows. Will they be all right?"

"worry not, young warrior." Uxie said, turning to Melodi. "My melody is similar to healing wish... it purifies all who hear it... and... it revitalizes them as well. the plague is finished here... however, the sableyes will look for another host village... I fear it will be the mountains to the north. If not stopped... the process will repeat itself, and the war will continue a perpetual cycle."

she faced Gallade. "Come, dear warrior."

gallade hesitated. and then he walked over to her.

Uxie took the time flute, and soon it glowed vibrantly. She returned it to gallade afteward.

"What... what happened?" Gallade asked.

"You now aquire the melody of Knowledge" she said. "Whenever you need wisdom... play this melody... and I will assist your fatigued mind. I see that you will do fine making it to the mountains... I also see... a new ally in your future. I cannot say who it is... for it will disrupt the balance of fate... but her abillities will surely help you in the 'Future'."

Gallade gazed at Uxie. "Thank you." he said.

"The deed is done. Now go forth young heroes... fulfill time's endeavor..." as she spoke she faded, "and restore balance to the world. The fate of everything depends on... you..." Uxie vanished. the sound of churning water filled the air with serenity.

Is that new member... Me?

Scoro is crossing his claws.

Gallade scratched his head, baffled at Uxie's words. but then he shook his head. he faced his party. "I couldn't have done this without you all." he said to them. "Celebi?"

Celebi faced him "Hm?"

"Sorry for being um...."

"An irresponsible, lousy hero?" Celebi said.

"Um... yeah that." Gallade said, scratching his head.

Celebi giggled. "All is forgiven, Hero."

Gallade smiled.

"So... Can I join you guys now? I promise to fight by your side!"

Gallade faced him. "I said before, I could probably use all the help I can get. So yes. Welcome to the team."

"YAY!"

He shakes Gallade and Celebi's hand.

"Thanks so much for this! I won't let you down!"

Scoro and Roblock do a secret handshake in celebration.

As they celebrated, a shadow cast from the moonlight moved past them.

In Lord Emboar's castle

"Yep, I saw it wit my own eyes, my lord." said Boss. "Your hotshot Golurk is playin for the other team."

"Is that so?" Emboar said. "Well... He couldn't follow orders too well anyway. Destroy them when you get a chance."

"But wait, there's more!" Boss said. "You see, there's dis Gallade..."

"Yeah and?"

"I'ma put it to ya straight; he got da time flute you been wantin'! Boss said. "Word on the street is dat they plan on goin to the north. They stopped Gyrados and saved Uxie and da village."

Emboar grumbled. "Bring forth Destiny."

"I'm here." said a mysterious voice. Destiny gazed out the window in a corner.

"Tell me, Destiny, Did you not forsee this outcome?"

Destiny was silent. "I must have forgot to see the outcome you desired," she replied. "My apologies."

Emboar was quiet for a minute. "Go to the north. Pursue those fools."

Destiny gasped. "The north...?" she said.

"Is there a problem... Destiny?"

"Mommy..." ecchoed a voice in her head.

she shook her head. "As you wish... my lord..." she said hesitantly. she disappeared in a windy vortex.

"heheh! Gee Lord Emboar. She sure seemed uneasy." Boss chuckled. "It's as if she is hiding something."

Melodi looked up at the moon. She was glad to know that the villagers were alright. Still, knowing the power of those shadows were still out there... She didn't want to have anyone else suffer the way her friends in the village had. She wanted to start right away, but she wasn't sure starting so late was the best idea. She turned back to look at the others. Gallade and Celebi were the leaders in this group. They would decide when to begin. And Melodi knew that she would be there, helping them however she could.

Gallade gave a yawn. "I guess a good night sleep will help restore HP and PP..." he said.

"Good." Celebi said, pulling out a capsule-like ball. "We shall rest here for tonight." she pressed a button in it's center and it enlarged itself into a semi-circle shaped tent.

"Night." Celebi said, entering the tent.

Gallade yawned again, but decieded to sleep by the edge of the lake. the peaceful churning of the waters calmed his nerves and lulled him to sleep.

*Scoro and Roblock sleep in the tent*

Melodi gazed out over the lake. Part of her wanted to stay here as well, but she knew she should let Jynx know what she'd decided.

"I'll be back in the morning." She said softly to no one in particular. Then she turned and ran off.

"So... You'll be going with them, then?"

"Yes." Melodi replied. Then added quickly, "But if you need me here at the shop, I'll stay."

Jynx laughed. "No, no, I can manage the shop." She smiled fondly at the Lucario. "I knew you'd be heading out on your own someday. Someone like you can't stay in one place for too long a time." Her expression grew serious. "Just be careful out there, alright? You and I both know that the Gengar that took you away will be looking for you. That Chandelure is proof of that. I know you can look after yourself, and you have your friends now, but, all the same... Be careful. And... when this is all finished... Come back. Just for a little while."

Melodi nodded, feeling tears stinging her eyes. "I will."

The two of them embraced, then Melodi went over to the little bed she'd made herself long ago, back when she'd first came here. Jynx drew the blankets up around her.

"Jynx?" Melodi muttered sleepily.

"Hm?"

"Thank you. Thank you for everything."

Jynx smiled softly. "You're welcome, Melodi." And with that, Melodi was asleep.

*The group wakes up to a beautiful scenery, but no tent.*

"Whoa." he said while looking at the scenery. Its.. its beautiful!

"Well, this lake is known for its beauty.. Wait a minuite.. Wheres are tent?

The two look around them, and they see no tent, but they see Gallade, with a faint pink mist that is disappearing.

Both: "Gallade, do you know what happened to our tent?"

A red and white ball capsule rolled over to Celebi, who was already awake. "Found it." she said, picking it up.

Gallade picked himself up. "well, is everyone ready?" he asked. suddenly his stomach growled.

"How about you ask that question to yout belly?" Celebi giggled.

Gallade sighed. "Right... The village was restored... so maybe we can find something to eat there. Aftewards, we go north."

"Sounds like a plan." Celebi said. "Let us go."

Gallade walked over to the town. the warm whafting aroma of Poffin made Gallade's mouth water.

Scoro is drooling by the smell of the poffins, and Roblock is oiling through his mouth. (Golurk is a robot)

Both: "WOW! Those Poffins smell like heaven! We're gonna run ahead!"

The two rushed to the delicious smelling restaurant.

"The poffins are gonna be so sweet!"

"YOU BET!"

Celebi giggled at the two large pokemon and their childish nature. they were like kids trapped in final evolution bodies.

"Come on guys!"

"Get over here!"

"We just realized that you are the ones with the money.. So HURRY! I am so hungry!"

"Coming" Gallade said. he rushed into the poffin shop. a few Chanseys stood by the counter.

"Hello!" they said. "How may I help you?"

"we would like some poffins, please?" Gallade answered with that.

"Any berry juice with that?" the other chansey asked.

"Sure."

The one chansey went striaght to work, mixing a blend of berries until delicious poffin was created. The other chansey walked over to a young shuckle, and placed a Pecha berry inside one of it's holes.

"Here we go!" said the shuckle, he soon concentrated hard and shook his body violently until he finally rested. "all done!" he said.

Chansey took a glass and tilted shuckle until from one of it's holes poured out berry juice. they repeated the process for all of the team members there.

"Here you are!" said the Chanseys serving the Poffin and the pecha berry juice. "That will be 500 Poke, please."

Gallade nodded and place the currency on the counter.

"Please enjoy!" the chanseys said,

Gallade and Celebi took a seat at a table and began to eat. a young pink shiny Minccino walked by with a flower on one of it's ears. she swept the floors with her tail while singing happily to herself.

Melodi yawned and sat up. She'd gotten plenty of sleep that night. She stood up and started to wonder what to do for breakfast, when the smell of poffins came through the open window. Yes, that sounded good. She pulled a little Poke out from under her pillow. There was just enough here for some poffins, and a little berry juice. She began to walk towards the front door, then noticed something on the table. It was a small bag. Melodi remembered the bag from the back wall of the shop. She looked inside. There were a few berries and potions in the bag, as well as a small pocket with a little more Poke. Melodi smiled. She knew that neither Jynx, nor she liked saying goodbye. She slung the bag over her shoulder, then went out towards the poffin shop. When she got there, she noticed that Gallade and everyone else was already there. She bought her poffins and juice from the Chanseys at the front counter, then took a seat at a table near Gallade and Celebi.

"Good morning." She greeted.

Gallade gazed at Melodi after just finishing his poffin. "Morning," he said. He took a sip of Pecha juice which tasted great... yet it was room temperature.

"Oh dear! said a pokemon shaped like Ice cream. she slid over to gallade and the others "Please forgive me!" said the pokemon. "Vanillite to the rescue!" she took a deep breath and then exhaled a chilling icy wind that cooled down the drinks.

"Phew... please enjoy!" said the vanillite sliding away.

Gallade took another sip... the flavor seemed to be explode in his mouth now that it was chilled.

"Well, I'm ready to disembark whenever you guys are." Gallade said.

Both: "We are ready!"

The two are excited to be on their journey, and are both excited to avenge their parents.

Melodi finished her poffin and juice, and then stood.

"I'm ready." She said.

"Gallade?"

"Celebi?"

Gallade rose from his chair and Celebi hovered beside him.

"Let's go now."

The two exited the shop, Gallade looked around for Rapidash... but soon shrugged. He pulled out his time flute and began to play a melody that Rapidash seemed to love. soon rapidash came rushing over to him, her silver flames seemed to give off a happy radiant light.

"Hey girl!" Gallade said. He strapped the saddle onto Rapidash's back. Then he hopped on. He looked down at his friends from atop Rapidash. "I'm not the fastest runner... but With Rapidash, at least I can keep up. Well... Haa!"

Gallade gingerly used the reighns and Rapidash sprinted out of the village and into the huge beautiful lush fields that glowed in the morning sun.

a tall mountain loomed in the distance. It was where they would have to go for their next heroic adventure.

Roblock points out at the tall mountain.

"That is where the next destination is right? Lord Emboar, told me about all the possible places where you may be. Which also means that there will be other pokemon waiting for us up there."

"Well, I'm ready to take them!"

Scoro flies in the air and punches the air with confidence.

According to Uxie it is," Celebi said, flying beside Gallade and Rapidash as she galloped. a nice wind blew against them as they ran.

Meanwile...

a small mountain pass was nearby, where Honckrow waited.

"Iite boys." Honckrow said, "dey gonna be heah soon! Yall have dem there Geodudes ready?"

"Yes Boss!" cried the Murkrow. behind them were many agitated geodudes.

"Iite boys, on mah word, we drop da geodudes down on dem and you geodudes use yall rollout on em, and when ya get close enough, Blow those suckas away wit yo Selfdestruct attack!"

The geodudes growled as if they were being controled by some unknown force.

Melodi gazed up at the tall mountain in the distance, then looked back one more time at the shop. She didn't need Aura to know that Jynx would be watching from one of the windows.

"Goodbye, Jynx." She said softly, waving to the shop, then turned and ran along with the others.

Brill stood hiding behind a nearby tree, watching the heroes disembark. After a moment, he turned and spat a small flame into the shadows behind him. After a moment, his master's face appeared. He didn't look happy.

"Well, Brill?" He said in his chilling voice, "Why haven't you captured her yet?"

"M-master," Brill stammered, bowing to the image in the shadows, "There were others with her, sir. A Gallade and a Gliscor, and they interf--"

"What was that? What Pokemon was with her?"

"A Gallade and a Gli--"

"Gallade? The Gallade from the legends?"

"Y-yes, sir. He and the Celebi came and interfered with us as we were capturing her. Then the village caught fire, and we went to inves--"

"None of your excuses!" Ctuchik snapped. "Where are they heading now?"

"Th-the mountains, master."

"I see... Wait there, Brill. I will send Abra to come and find you, and he will take you to the mountains. It might take a while, though. That thing is the soundest-sleeping Abra I've ever seen. Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good. When you find that Lucario again, contact me. I'll see what there is for you to do." And with that, the face in the shadows vanished.

Soon the team made it to the mountain pass.
Rapidash slowed down a bit as the climate grew colder.

"I don't like how quiet it has become," Celebi said, looking around. "I have a slight premonition that our arrival here has been anticipated.

"Indeed."

Melodi nodded, not quite trusting herself to speak. That sense of danger was acting up again, and it was almost constant.

"You look scared Melodi. Anything wrong?"

Gliscor is worried about Melodi.

"Knowing Emboar, there will be a crap load of enemies.."

Melodi shook her head.

"I'm not sure. I feel that there's danger somewhere, but I can't quite place where. All I'm getting is this constant sense to be careful..." She hit the side of her head with her paw. It didn't help. "I wish I knew how to control Aura a bit better. That might help."

Gliscor pats her on the back

"Everything will be fine.. I am sure of it."

Melodi nodded again and smiled a little. She did feel a little better, though she knew her worries wouldn't be completely put to rest until they got through whatever the Aura was trying to warn her about.

"...Boss!" Said a murkrow, gazing down at the party below. "They're here!"

"Iite, boys. Let's Rollout!" Boss said.

Suddenly the sides of the mountain pass began to rumble.

"Hear that?" Celebi said.

"Hear it?" Gallade said. "I can SEE it!"

suddenly from the slopes and rocky hills came a stampede of rolling geodudes!

"Everyone!" Celebi said. "We can't turn back now. Evasive manuvers!"

Rapidash let out a neigh, while staning up on two legs, then she landed on all fours to dash along the mountain pass while dodging rolling Geodudes. Gallade hung on tight.

Scoro sees Melodi about to get crushed by a bunch of Geodude. He does his best to dodge, and gets hit 3 times, each getting stronger by the second. He reaches Melodi and tries to pick her up to the air, in order to save her.

"Substitute!"

Roblock is using his substitute and charging the mountain

Melodi froze briefly as the Geodudes started coming down towards them, then charged up an Aura Sphere and hurled it at one of the oncoming Pokemon.

If that hits right, She thought, it should send that one rolling back up the mountain.

She fired two more spheres at the Geodude, though she knew she couldn't fire them fast enough to keep them all from coming, and she had a feeling trying to get close enough to use Bone Rush to hit them back up would be too risky. Then she felt Scoro trying to pick her up, and she didn't try to pull away from him.

Scoro and Melodi are in the air.

"Are you ok?!"

Roblock's substitute lost its will.

"Oh well, Ill use Shadow Punch!"

He Shadow punches some geodude.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Melodi replied. She looked back down at the ridge where she'd been standing. Had she still been standing there, she would've been swarmed over and crushed by the Geodude. She looked back up at Scoro. "Thanks."

Scoro was staring into the thankful Lucario's eyes.

"Thats good to know... and no problem." Scoro stumbles on his words.

"Keep em' commin, boys!" Boss said.

"Um... Boss?" Said a Murkrow.

"Whaddaya want?!" Boss yelled

"erm...b-behind you."

"What?" Boss said, turning to a pack of angry Gravelers.

"Aww... c'mon! thar's no reason to jump to conclusion..."

the gravelers scowled at them, clenching their teeth with anger.

"Nice... gravelers.... nic--" suddenly, Boss grabbed up the Murkrow and threw him into the pack of gravelers.

"Waahhhhh!" the poor Murkrow cried as the gravelers all piled onto the him with their tackle attack!

"Can't stick around here, baby! Every pokemon for demselves!" Boss yelled as he flew off, as well as the other murkrows.

Suddenly, the tummultuous rumble of gravelers rolling down the pass shook the ground.

"How lovely," Moaned Celebi.

Gallade and Rapidash kept moving, dodging and even hopping over the gravelers. as they advanced, snow began to fall to the ground.

"Getting closer," said Gallade.

Meanwhile...

An empoleon stood on the throne. His followers were fainted before his eyes.

"What is the meaning of this?" he said.

in front of him stood Prime Minister. "Hello, your highness. Forgive me, for I have work to do. Please step aside and grant me access to the lake of willpower, and you won't get hurt.

"That lake houses the guardian Azelf. It is forbidden, and you will not pass"

"I figured you'd say that."

suddenly. Sableyes appeared.

"nugh!" Empoleon gulped. "What kind of sorcery is this?"

"The kind that grants me access to the lake." Prime minster answered.

soon the Sableyes lunged.

"Uwaaaaaaagh!" Empoleon yelled.

the doors opened to a crystalline lake filled with ice. Prime Minister proceeded. soon a sharp slash was heard, followed by a cry. and soon the sky grew dark and discolored, followed by the ground trembling as a Frozen dungeon surrouned the lake.

Melodi felt a prickle a the back of her head, and she turned to look. The sky a bit further north was darker than it had been a moment ago. At first, she thought there might be some sort of storm coming, but the color of the sky didn't look quite right... Her sense of danger suddenly came rushing back, so fast and cold that she shivered. This time, she knew what was wrong.

"They're already there..." She muttered, "We need to hurry..."

*Runs torward the mountain*

Prime Minister walked out to the entrance of the ice village.

"When they arrive... You know what to do." He said to Destiny who stood in watch while perched on a rooftop

Destiny was silent. she gave a slight nod, however.

with that, Prime minister used an escape orb to warp away.

The entrance was right in sight.

"We made it," said Gallade.

"Be extra cautious," Celebi warned. "Danger, is in the air."

"If Emboar's army IS here... You can bet that danger is definitely in air. We have to be really cautious. Anyone have any healing potions/berries/moomoomilk? I'm about to use substitute."

The two were very cautious and looked side to side with every step. Awaiting some kind of attack from any direction. There was no reason to feel safe in a cave like this.

"I'll admit right now.. I am really scared, but not just for me. For everyone.. Didn't someone mention that Emboar had a fortune teller?"

Roblock is silent as he knows the answer, but feels guilty about telling it all.

Melodi looked around slowly, her eyes searching for any sign of movement. She couldn't see anything that posed as a threat just yet, though she didn't relax. Her sense of danger was almost on overload now, and there almost seemed to be a little voice in her head, chanting tirelessly:

Be careful... Be careful... Be careful...

She shook her head to quiet the voice, then walked along silently, ready to attack anything that might jump out at them.

A group of frightened haunters appeared. Which is weird, because Haunters Haunt...

The village was vacant. Snow twinkled gingerly to the ground. small dens dotted the area, yet the area was void of residents.

"I wonder if the residents were infected..." Celebi mumbled.

Gallade was just about to respond when suddenly, a wave of cresent power flew at him!

"Gallade, Lookout!" Celebi cried a little too late.

Gallade, was struck by the blow! he skidded backwards. "hunh?" he said.

suddenly a flurry of snow drifted down and a silhouetted soon stepped into view.

Gallade gasped. soon the memories of the an absol appeared in his head. "It's you, the absol from the grass village!" Gallade shouted.

The absol nodded.

"You said you wanted to see the village for the last time... and ironically, It was nearly destroyed.... You had something to do with it, didn't you?"

Destiny was silent. soon she swung another psycho cut at him.

"Protect!" Gallade said, shielding the attack.

"I see you are no ordinary villager..." Destiny said. "I also see that your journey ends here..."

"Just who are you anyway?!" Celebi growled.

"My name..." said the absol in her mysterious accent. "...is Destiny. I am assigned to stop anyone from entering here... it is for your own safety... leave now."

Gallade stood his ground. "I'm not going anywhere..."

suddenly Destiny stared hard at Gallade....

"Here we go again..." Gallade mumbled.

"I see..." She said, her eyes closing. "My premontion tells me that defeat is enevitable for you... all of you. Shall I explain in detail how you all will faint? It will come to past if you try to resist."

Gallade scowled hard at Destiny. "I think I'll try my luck and see for myself."

Destiny opened her eyes... "Very well... All of your fates have been sealed."

she began to sing an ancient melody that fortold an unknown omen. Soon above all of the party members appeared a number 3. a strange feeling tickled Gallade's insides. he felt his own heart pounding out loud.

"What is this...?" he thought.

"Time is wasting... Let me see if you all can defy your own fate." Destiny said.

Melodi also felt that odd feeling inside her.

"Oh, great..." She muttered. She turned to Destiny. "You do realize that we're not the only ones affected, right? That affects all who hear it, including the attacker."

Destiny nodded. "I have lost all will to continue... I have nothing left to lose... not after..."

"Mommy..." said a voice in her head. followed by a gruesome cry as a shadow loomed over her offspring, siezing him.

"Fate!" said her own voice in her head. she tried desperately to fight, however, the mysterious pokemon... a shadow with the chilling smile she ever laid eyes on was the last thing she saw before she was fainted.

"Mommyyyyy!" Cried the baby absol, as a blood curling laugher from a gengar was heard.

"F-Fate... no... please.... my baby...." she moaned. her thoughts manifested into her words... which soon festered into anger. "My precious baby..." a tear fell from her sapphire eyes.

Celebi looked at Gallade. "We don't have time... We must defeat her, or ALL of us will faint!"

"Right" Gallade said. He rushed in. "Haaaah! Night slash!" he struck yet like a phantom, the attack slashed right through her, and she faded slowly afterward.

"Everyone.... deserves.... what I've earned..." Said numerous voices as the snow began to pick up strength. soon Destiny reappeared in the distance, and also on the side of a ledge, and also nearby Gallade... and also... everywhere. The Destinies circled around the party. "The pain.... the suffering... you all will see what I have lost!" she said, anger in her words.

"Crap..." Gallade said. "She's... everywhere!" he struck a night slash at one Destiny. but it faded. he swung at another... that one faded too.

"argh!" Gallade growled in frustration.

Soon the number above his head fell to 2.

"There is nothing that can bring him back to me..." the Destinies said. "... they fainted my dear Love... and took my baby away! I will show the world my pain and surrering! No one can extiguish the flames of my fury!"

Soon from all directions shot waves of psycho cuts at the entire party.

"Everyone, brace yourselves!" Celebi shouted.

Scoro and Roblock hide behind Gallade knowing he is the strongest, and he even has protect.

"Protect!" Gallade said, casting a shield from his arms that covered not just the front, but this time, all around him and his party members!

"Destiny!" Gallade shouted. "Fainting us won't bring your loved ones back either!"

Destiny, her head clouded with anger regrouped all of her illusory copies into one whole. she lunged at Gallade. "Haaaah!" she cried, tears streaming from her eyes as her horn soon swiped at Gallade, who shielded with his armblades. soon they were in a bladelock.

"C'mon, Destiny!" Gallade said, straining against Destiny. "I know you are truly hurt after losing your family... And I'm sorry..."

"I don't need your pity," Destiny said, still locked with Gallade. "Your pity means nothing to me! My yearning to see my baby Fate again... it mainfests into my thoughts... into my dreams! If Arceus is true, why would he let me suffer?! I was a fair pokemon. I never did anything to hurt anyone!"

"But... look at you now!" Gallade said. "You're trying to Faint-- no-- destroy us! I don't know what happened to your loved ones, but all I know is, wherever they are, they wouldn't want for you to be this way. Imagine umm.... Imagine Fate. What would he do if he seen his own mother behave this way?"

Destiny's face softened. "F-Fate..." She broke away from the bladelock. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I'm so.... sorry...."

Gallade walked over to her. "I believe he is still out there..."

the perish song count fell to 1.

"Gallade!" Celebi shouted. "We're all about to faint!"

"Destiny." Gallade said. "Please lift this perish song."

"If I do... Promise me this..." She said. "Aftewards..." she hung her head. ".....Faint me."

"But..."

"YOU MUST DO IT!" Destiny snapped. "You'll understand when It's over..."

Gallade hesitated. "F-fine."

Destiny sang a song to reverse the effects of Perish song.

"Now..." Destiny said.

Gallade hesitated.

"DO IT NOW!"

"AGGGH!" Gallade stuck Destiny hard. she fell onto the snow where she smiled weakly. "You... have my thanks..." she said softly. "Now... Emboar's curse has been lifted off me. It requires fainting in order for it to be broken... same with shadow pokemon..." she sighed deeply.

Gallade knelt down to her height. "Will you be okay?"

"They will try to come for me..." She said. "I want you to find the one responsible for kidnapping my Fate, and faint him... faint him with extreame prejudice..." and with that, she closed her eyes.

"D-Destiny?" Gallade said.

"DESTINY!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!"

"Why?...No... A pokemon fainted before my eyes..."
