This has probably already been mentioned but - I thought using a leaf stone on Eevee would evolve it into a grass type Pokemon.

I used to believe that of you held down A+B+Down Button the pokeball would work like an ultra ball.

Let's see - in Ruby, I had Swampert, Wailord, and Azumarill on the same team.

Breeding a Manaphy and Ditto would produce a Manaphy.

The myth that if you breed Latias and Latios that you'd get an offspring.

Ho-oh back in G/S/C was invincible, and you couldn't kill it or capture it.

I thought the blastoise on my brother's blue version cartridge (The one on the outside) would come to life if I put it in water. I put it in the fish tank. (It still works!)

I thought that when you try to catch a Pokémon, there were a series of buttons you had to press in time to increase your chances of catching the Pokémon. I know it may not be true, but I still seem to do it. =w=
