It's kinda common knowledge, but it disturbs me at how far behind we are technology-wise than the rest of the world. Most western countries can get high-speed internet anywhere. But for the US? Only ~60% can get it.

Not really. Just clean out a few abandoned mines for tracks and know the proper ratio to place the Powered Rails. Nice three Power Rail booster at the start, then one every 36 rails. Keeps speed at max.

No I haven't tried 1.3 yet. Been busy with Kingdom Hearts
Most complex thing? A hidden door that led to an underground bunker. The door was activated by placing a redstone torch in a certain spot.

The optimizations. It runs a lot smoother than it used to. And it doesn't use nearly as much bandwidth, so I can play a lot longer without keeping an eye on my bandwidth usage. Oh, and the addition of Ender Chests.

Depends on if the mob has a decent rare drop or not. For those with a good rare drop [zombies drop iron and iron items and spiders drop spider eyes] I use a drop trap. Otherwise [mainly skeletons, who drop bows, which I can easily craft] I use a drown trap.

I absolutely love the game. Got it from a Humble Bundle set and loved playing it. Great story and interesting gameplay. It touches so many things wrong with the world today, and the eventual conclusion to those problems if nothing is done about them.

Bastion spoilers    

A Calamity that rips the world asunder and wipes out almost all life caused by the distrust between two countries. The actions of one kid to either try to change history or start a new journey for survivors. The one point that got me was the Zulf decision at the end. You could either leave him behind to save yourself, or drop your only defense to take him with you. Personally I saw that taking him with you was the best choice. It told the Ura that the world had changed due to the Calamity, and that everyone has to stick together in order to create a new world from the ashes of the old.



Personally I feel that saving Zulf/Evacuation is the best choice. Like I said before, it told the Ura that you were willing to sacrifice your life for one of their own, and I don't like the idea of handing the world back to the ones that caused the Calamity in the first place.

For me shadows lead to the other side of the world: a place full of darkness [kinda like the Realm of Darkness in Kingdom Hearts]. Doesn't matter which shadow I go in. It ends up in the same place. Though I can spy on others from those shadows

Huge biome shifts in OldWorld. When the first world was imported, it imported the land but not the biomes, so it has the land from 1.8, but biomes from 1.3.

Fortune III. The Unbreaking might last quite a bit longer, but it won't drop as much as a Fortune III pick.

Emerald blocks. It's not about how hard it would be to make. It's about how bright it would be on the eyes. Dark green is easier on the eyes than bright blue/light source.

That is tough to answer, cause so far Minecraft doesn't have very much that I think should be removed. Most of my gripes with Minecraft is for things that haven't been added but I feel should be. I guess I would have to say the sideways logs growing from trees. I always disliked the mega trees cause it would take several minecraft days to fully harvest, and now that they can spread out horizontally it makes it that much more annoying.

Lapis blocks. One of my favorite colors is blue.
I've actually started a base on the server where the entrance is made of lapis blocks.

I like the cold more than the heat. It's easier to warm yourself up when you're cold than it is to cool yourself down when you're hot. I also basically live in a walk-in cooler where I work, so my cold tolerance is rather high.

Sure, I can see how one of those would be helpful, but currently the Nether Highway has several "hubs" where the portals from the Overworld are.

An automatic farmer for watermelons. It used pistons to push up the ground from under the melons, breaking them. Doesn't seem that complicated, but it covers a 32x5 melon farm.

Also, I really should subscribe to this thread, if possible. The Top 15 moves too fast sometimes.

EDIT: Oh, I'm already subscribed. Then there needs to be a way to notify a user when a reply has been made in a topic that user made. That would help a lot.

I did. I'm not that good with art, but digital art is a bit easier with tools such as the fill bucket and curve lines. Took me awhile to get it right.
