When this thread was created, I was fifteen. However, I turned 16 June 13th.
And I started out playing Pokemon below the age of ten, and started out with Pokemon Crystal since it came with my Gameboy Color. Nevertheless, my cousin gave me his Red and Blue a week later so I played those as well and beat all three of those games within eight days or so.
16, been playing since it first came out. Im a religious follower of the anime as well. Proud to say that ive watched every single episode from season one till the one aired last saturday.
I remember every saturday after watching an episode, i would get all depressed at the fact that pokemon isnt real
5 – Shadow, JC, Cat333Pokémon, RK-9, ShinyI feel so old T_T I'm currently 23
I've been in the Poke-fandom since it was first released in America
1 – ShadowPokemon Yellow: Age 7. Perhaps the start of a 13 year love and desire and obcession of Pokemon. Now, I turned 20 on june and old habits like this one will not die. Even if I do lose interest in pokemon one sad day, Pokemon will always effect my life through inspiration, friends, and fun memories. I owe it to pokemon for me meeting so many people online in the forums. It has been 6 years of wifi experience and forum socializing, and so many friends I made... and so many friends I miss. Pokemon allowed me to learn many things on the internet world and communities. So, cheers, to 13 years of Pokemon training, and hopefully many more years to come!
Hmmm I have a fading memory but my first personal copy of a Pokemon game was Yellow Version with my brand new Green Gamboy Color that was given to me JUST for the game which was during a camping trip as well actually (though I remember having the old gameboy with no color as well sometime before this). I have one of my older cousins to thank for that too as he had showed me Pokemon soo soon after I purchased Blue and Red and well that was roughly when I was ohh maybe 5-7 years old.... dang I don't remember that much hahaha but yeah I'm here today at the age of 17 still playing as much Pokemon as I can and will not stop anytime soon. :>
I'm 13 but I didn't really play pokémon until I was 9. My first copy was a Diamond version I got from bestbuy. I got hooked, bought Pearl a few months later, then got FireRed and Sapphire, got some of the spin offs, and was so obsessed with pokémon. Then, when I heard about Platinum, I was so excited and even got it the day it came out in the US. After several months, I eventually started to like Pokémon a little less, I stoped watching the TV show, stoped buying cards, and eventually stoped buying the toys. I got Heartgold AND Soulsilver the day they came out and was hooked on them but didn't like pokémon as much then. When the Black and White Pokémon were all revealed, I thought that most of them sucked and pokémon is now walking in the wrong direction in everything. Although, something made me buy White when it .came out and I was extremely addicted to it and got Black later and was so hooked/ I am so addicted to pokémon ow that I don't consider myself to like it but I consider myself very addicted.
