Pick up one of these:

I got one from a local GameStop for $10, and my original 3DS was revived by it.

Might be more of a video game general thing, but my 3DS is starting to get a bit old and the battery isn't lasting as long as it used to. Aside from things like turning off the 3D and brightness and turning on Power Save and draining the battery completely before charging it, is there much I can do to extend the life a bit?

Been around three years now. I've been pretty much leaving it plugged in constantly when not walking around with it, which is probably not the best idea ![]()
Tbh just replacing it eventually will probably be the simplest idea, considering how much I depend on this individual console and how much of a pain replacing it could be.

Normally I'd say yes, but replacing this thing could be a bit of a pain and I'd rather stick it out with this one for as long as possible: http://victoryroad.net/attachment.ph...1&d=1417847590

Just get a regular replacement battery, there's a bunch on eBay, or check your GameStops/local game stores.
Okay, uh, remember how I said I spilled apple juice on my keyboard a few days ago? Not quite sure if this is related, but two keys in the middle of it, U and K, have spontaneously stopped working properly.
This is what I get when I hit K:
And this is what I get when I hit U: ukukukukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkk(ad infinitum)
My best guess is that some of the liquid finally got underneath the plastic and ended up fizzling one of the wires or something, but considering that the Escape, F1 and 1 keys are both working perfectly and on the opposite side of the keyboard, that doesn't really make too much sense.
Any suggestions?
It's telling you to move to the UK.
I've actually had this same thing happen to a keyboard of mine where some keys were really damaged. I suggest removing all the caps and giving it a deep cleaning. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the keyboard. If it's a laptop keyboard, search for your laptop model on eBay along with "keyboard."
Urgh . . . I feel like I should know the answer here, but it's not coming to me and Google isn't helping.
If I have a 3.6V rechargable battery, can I safely replace it with a 3.7V rechargable battery? My 3DS is down to like fifteen minutes of battery life max, and I can't find an exact replacement on Amazon : /
