Hm, looking into it again, I think we missed one huge detail: PlayStation online multiplayer is not free.

a.) It's less than $5 a month, and
b.) Has a bunch of benefits to make it worth it.

I decided to watch the E3 presentation today by myself. Though, I didn't actually start watching until the Sony segment began. (I'll have a lot more to say tomorrow when Nintendo Direct starts).

But hey, we FINALLY get Kingdom Hearts III news. My complaint: the trailer was too short >_> The fighting system looks almost identical to that of Kingdom Hearts II (besides the drive gauge getting replaced by an EX bar)

The other game that interested me the most was Final Fantasy Versus 13- or Final Fantasy XV, as it's now called. The gameplay looks similar to Kingdom Hearts, but it looks like they removed some aspects that were in previous trailers. One being that you don't see how much damage you inflict when you damage an enemy. Nonetheless, the storyline looks identical. I actually like that this game is going to become part of the main series. It looks a lot better than FF13 imo.

Both games are for the PS4, so it looks like I'm going to be buying one of those in the future. Hopefully the price drops, it's too dang expensive...

I strongly suspect that I might see a PS4 in my home when I am working just to get a Blu-Ray player in addition to it being a PS4. I don't really do online gaming, so PSN+ isn't as necessary, and... yeah. Still can do not online gaming online stuff without PSN+. Can't do that with Xbox LIVE Silver.

Kind of like how the PS4 is a significantly better value proposition compared to the Xbox One.

Well, looks like I wasn't allowed to sleep. I managed to wake up at 6:35 without any alarm, so I'll be watching the broadcast with you guys.

The new Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze title looks interesting, but I wasn't too fond of the previous ones.

Also, don't bother refreshing if you're behind by a minute. You'll just get lag for five minutes then be back where you started again.

Setting the stream quality to 240p seems to help a lot with the lag. Also new Donkey Kong game!
