"The king...?" Ahri was boggled. These people seemed to form such an unlikely grouping and not only that, they had the king? Crazy.
"I'm in. Lead the way!" she said enthusiastically.

"Ok then" and Quincy once again took the lead
"Quincy, Quincy always on a rush arent you" Kyria said
Samantha still Beside Silk "Well...can you teach me how to fight..cause I haven't done much..I wanna be useful" she said while Pouting

"Silk, do you think you could help me out too?" Ahri asked. "I know some, but I don't have much experience."

Silk chuckles as he watched Quincey run ahead again, then turned back to Samantha, "It would probably be a good idea to learn at least the basics to defend yourself.." He nodded to both her and Ahri, "Alright, when we get to the Village, I'll teach you two."

And Quincy Yelled "WHY WONT ANYONE ASK ME!!!!!"
"Cause you have to be good, to train anyone" Kyria chuckled
And Quincy let out a huge Groan
"Hey guys I think I see something ahead" Quincy said and Ran faster than before
"Hey dont run ahead else..." and Kyria stopped to see a black mist covering the Elves Village
"Oh dear...why us..everywhere we go we encounter trouble" Kyria said
"So it's not just my rotten Luck" Quincy said

Silk stopped just at the edge of the mist, instinctively reaching for the hilt of one of his daggers... except his hand rested instead on the hilt of Yukianesa:Fenrir. He looked down, a bit surprised, then moved his hand to one of the dagger hilts, "Is this what was possessing those elves back there? Or is this something else entirely?" He looked wearily around, looking for any more elves that might jump out to attack them.

Samantha looked at Silk when he reached for Fenrir "Hey...Are you ok.."
Quincy looked down "I dont know but I'm not going to wait soooo" and Quincy Jumped down the sloped hill and began running drawing his Katana "Oh yeah....Cool points"
Kyria facepalmed "well...here goes", and she did the same thing Quincy did

"I'm just fine," Silk replied, "I just grabbed the wrong weapon, that's all." He nodded to where Kyria and Quincey had gone, "We should probably try and stick with them," He said, then moved down the hill after them.

"Okay," Ahri replied, drawing her own sword for protection. "I'll stay close to you, you seem to know what you're doing," she teased. Peering into the mist, she hesitated. It seemed very menacing.

Samantha Jumped down as well
"Woah....This place is abandoned, I thought this was a village?"
"It is.." and Kyria saw and pointed towards an injured elf limping away from something, and a long black hand reached out and Grabbed the elf, and began to drag it into an alley
"Oh no you dont" and Quincy Leaped with his sword and cut the shadowy hand to make it disappear
"That...was...Odd, must have something to do with the Mist" Quincy Stated
"Maybe it does" Samantha said

"Perhaps," Silk agreed, then he moved towards the injured elf carefully, drawing one of his daggers and holding it so the elf wouldn't see it, just in case the elf was possessed like the others have been. "What happened here, friend?" He asked, in a non-threatening way.

"It attacked us...something from...from the...Void"
Kyria shuddered at the mere name. "So it is true....so that means" and Kyria paused" ....Where.. WHERE DID IT COME FROM!!!" as Kyria flew into a fit of rage that was out of her character
and the Elf panicked and passed out
"Woah...Instructor that didn't seem..."Quincy said "Quincy just....Be Quiet, You Dont KNOW ANYTHING!!", and Kyria walked away

"The Void?" Ahri piped up quietly. "What's the Void?" She was afraid of Kyria's reaction, but her question slipped out anyway.

Kyria stopped and sighed "...The Void...It destroys everything and everyone, people thought they could harness it. and they failed and almost destroyed me..my friends" Kyria shed a tear "Nero died stopping the void...and it's back he sacrificed his life for something that would come back, Carlisle, his father, Shade, and Tenebris all tried to control it...you cant control destruction"

Silk nodded slowly as he listened, sheathing his dagger again. "Well.. what do we do now?" He asked after a moment of silence, "Do we try and find somewhere to rest here, or do we move on?"

"rest would be nice...i do need to sit down" and Kyria found a tree to lean against "we dont know what we're up against, other than it's apart of the..Void" Kyria said. "Eh...sure why not" and Quincy just sat on the ground "we have been through alot". And Samantha turned to Silk "noow you can train me" Samantha said with a smile

Ahri put her sword away and went to sit down with the others, but when she heard Samantha's question, she changed her mind.
"Could you train us now, Silk?" she asked. "I mean, unless you're too tired..."

Silk nodded, "Of course." He walked a bit away to where there was a little more room, gesturing for the two girls to follow, "Now, Ahri, you have your sword.." He looked at Samantha, "You don't have a weapon, though, do you?"

"Oh...yeah I forgot I dont have a weapon. but I can use magic really well Is that good?" Samantha asked

Silk nodded, "Yes, that is good. Still, it doesn't hurt to have something a little more.. substantial, shall we say." He drew one of the daggers from his belt and handed it to her hilt-first, "It's probably not the best thing to start learning with, but it will do for now."

"Thank you" and Samantha smiled "Well whats the first lesson"

Silk thought for a moment, "Let's start simple," He drew the other dagger from his belt looked at it thoughtfully as he spoke, "You need to be ready for whatever your opponent is going to do. He may simply rush you head on, or he might try and pull some sort of trick. And depending on who your enemy is and what he does, it might be best to rush head on yourself, or maybe to just deflect the blow, or even to dodge the attack -and possibly the next several attacks- and watch for an opening to strike. You have to watch your opponent closely and try to judge the best option as quickly as possible." He frowned a moment, "Let me give you an example; from what you've seen of my fighting style and abilities, what would you do if I were simply to rush at you with one of my daggers?"

"Um...Take a Step back and Block, then quickly strike back?" Samantha Said "Then think about what your going to do next"

"That would probably be the best move," Silk nodded approvingly, "Now, what if you were to be the one to strike first; judging by what you know of me and what you think I know about you, how would you attack, expect me to respond, and counter my expected reaction?"

"Sweep at their legs or use magic?, then back away" Samantha said

The little man nodded again, "That would be the most anticipated reactions. Just remember that your opponent might not always do what is expected. For instance, I might counter your magic with my own, then start towards you during that half a second you're off-balance. You need to learn to be ready for anything, and have a suitable backup for anything you do."

"Ok I understand..Thank you" Samantha said

Silk nodded, then looked at her curiously, "Do you have any experience fighting with a knife at all?"

"No..I'm not really a fighter, I'm just really good at enchanting things..see" and Samantha quickly used a spell to reinforce her weapon "I was really young when I learned how to do that"
Kyria looked curiously at Samantha's ability to use a high powered enchant on her weapon "(I learned how to do that when I was about her age...but thats a really difficult spell..)"

Ahri, who had been listening and observing quietly, spoke up then.
"How did you do that?" she wondered aloud. "That'd be very useful," she added. She knew the rudiments of magic and a little more, but beyond that, nothing really. It was something that had always intrigued her, but she'd never managed to pursue it.

Silk whistled, "Very impressive," He complimented Samantha, "I knew a man once that could do that as well; he made a living off of it in earlier times. He said it took him years to just understand how to get such high-leveled enchantments, though."

"Um..Well..I don't know I guess you're just born with it sometimes" Samantha said
"EY!!!! YOU LOT OVER THERE...I SUGGEST YOU GET OUT OF HERE!!, ELSE..." and the random voice came out of thin air "I'm Going to get serious" and the man took out a rapier and a pistol

Silk quickly looked over to where the voice came from, then held up both his hands to show they were empty, "We mean no harm, friend," He called out, his voice non-threatening, "We're just passing through here, that's all. There's no need for such unpleasantness."

"Well I dont care leave..This is a restricted area" The voice said and Turned around to Kyria "K-Kyria Paradigm..Is that You, By dear has it been that long?" The man walked towards her and sheathed his sword
"wait...I think I know...Spade?!" Kyria said
"Captain Ethan Spade to be exact..and In the flesh my dear.." Spade said
Kyria jumped up and gave him a hug
"it's been too Long!!, How have you been?, where'd you go after we split up." Kyria asked
"Eh...i've been everywhere on the sea and on land helping everyone I can find as to your order madam" Spade said

Silk watched as the little reunion took place, "You two know each other, I take it?" He asked.

"Yeah..We saved the world together" Kyria said
"Yup...Protected her with my life" Spade said
"Oh..these are my friends Quincy, Samantha, Silk and Ahri"
Quincy waved his hand "Whats up" Samantha gave a small smile "Nice to meet You"

Silk bowed politely, "It's a pleasure, Master Spade."

"EH...Dont call me master..I hate that, just call me Spade., oh I see you have Fenrir, how'd you get it.." and Spade slowly put his hand on the hilt of his rapier "Blue Lightning:Susano'o"

Silk almost absently rested his hand on Fenrir's hilt, "I had to borrow it from his majesty over there for a time," he nodded in Kevin's general direction, "I'm just sort of holding onto it until he wakes up."

"I see, I too have a sealed weapon, Blue Lightning: Susano'o, a very Interesting one at that, and have you reawoken Fenrir...Thats dangerous living if you have" Spade said

"Oh, that's nothing new for me, my friend," Silk replied with a grin, "I almost prefer to live dangerously; it keeps the mind sharp and the body quick."

"Ah..Your just like me kid...loving to live on the edge..Well i'm going to the Reprive port you guys wanna join.. it has an inn where you can rest" Spade said

Silk looked to the others, "It sounds like a good idea to me; what do you all think?"

"That would be best" Kyria said
"Why wouldn't I!" and Quincy Jumped up at the first opportunity
"Thats great" Samantha obliged
"Aight Guys follow me and pick up the King" and Spades walked dpwn the road towards the port
"This City is still abandoned" Samantha said
"Yeah we'll deal with it when we rest" Quincy siad

"Sure, why not?" Ahri exclaimed. These people sure kept strange company. The inn sounded nice though, she felt tired though she hadn't done much that day. I suppose it was all the walking... And by now the adrenaline has worn off, she thought.

She followed the group, eager to see the portal.

Silk looked at Kyria, "Do you want me to carry Kevin for a while?"

"Um Yeah, that would be Nice, I am getting quite tired" Kyria said
"Oh the Port is over there we'll be there in about 20 minutes, SO..What brings you all here" Spade asked

Silk nodded, then went over and carefully picked up the unconscious king. "Well, we ran into someone in the forest a while ago," He replied to Spade's question, deliberately being vague about it in case some unfriendly ears were about, "And we went to talk with Kevin here about it, but someone else had beaten us to it. Their conversation didn't go so great, as you can see, and the man's temper was enough that it caused a few things to go off in the city as well. So we came this way to see if there was somewhere we could let our friend rest, but it seems as though there has been some trouble around here as well." He looked around at the abandoned village and the black Mist.

"Oh well, now everyone is Safe, and you guys can rest..I stationed here with men when I received a distress call, aye a pirate's life is never easy, but it is one hell of a ride, just like the ones you guys are on" Spade laughed
"Wait a Pirate.....so do you" Quincy tried to say "If you ask if i have a hook for a hand and or say 'Argghh' I will slap you" Spade said
Samantha and Kyria chuckled a bit
Atfer walking a bit
"Well guys we're here, Reprive Port the a safe heaven for refugees and Hybrids who aren't accepted anywhere else" Spade said

Silk looked around at the port, nodding a bit, "Looks like an alright sort of place," He said, "Though in my personal view, one port town is much like another." He shifted a bit, "I don't mean to be hurrying you all along, but do you mind if we head to the inn? I need to send some information along to a friend of mine, and I might be able to pick up some news about what's going on elsewhere as well."

"Oh the Inn is right over there, and it's starting to get dark so i'll see you guys in the morning later" Spade said while walking away "Wait..are you saying..ok fine" Spade stopped turned around and took Susano'o off and looked at Ahri "Well...your the only person i haven't talked to here.." and he Looked straight into Ahri's Gray eyes.."Old man Susano'o told me your going to need this more than I am, and I hate to do this but.. so here you go" and he Tossed Susano'o over to the group "i'm done with Fairy tale curses if you catch my drift, i'm a Pirate..only curses I deal with are from other people. that and I dont need some cursed weapon to fight for me" Spade said while walking away

Ahri picked up Susano'o carefully, holding it in her hands gingerly.
"It's wonderful," she said in awe. "But what was that about it being cursed?" she wondered aloud. I suppose I'll ask more in the morning. Without taking her eyes off the weapon, she spoke to the the group.
"Let's go to the inn then?" she said, examining it more closely.

"Yeah..I'm Reeaaallly Tired...We'll figure out what to do in that village tomorrow.." Quincy said as he ran to the Inn
"Quincy, always ready to jump at the first thing he sees, well lets go" Kyria said
"Hey...Ahri, where did you come from anyway?, not to be rude or anything" Samantha asked

Samatha's question finally snapped Ahri out of her little reverie. For the first time since she'd joined the group, Ahri remembered home. With a pang, she realised she hadn't even said goodbye. Her parents were probably worried to death... On top of having to care for her other siblings.
"I'm from the town near where you guys came tumbling out of nowhere (through a portal, perhaps?)," she replied slowly. She rubbed her hand on Susano'o. It made her feel better.
"I was watching you and found you interesting, so I decided to follow you... I never really thought about it, I guess." She frowned. "I should have told my parents... I should have asked you... I'm sorry if I'm a bother." She looked at the ground unhappily. "You don't mind if I stay with you, right?" she asked hopefully. Her hand still lingered on Susano'o as she spoke.

Kyria turned Around.."Of Course.The more the merrier right, and don't worry your not bothering anyone"

Ahri smiled at that, but inside she thought of her family. Leaving so quickly was such a rash decision, but it seems to at least have lead me on an interesting adventure, she thought.

"Is that the inn up there?" Ahri asked. I sure hope it is, I feel so tired. Today's been such a confusing day.

Quincy was sitting inside the inn "Took you guys long enough. And I already booked the rooms so yeah..." And Quincy stretched "I am off to bed, good night everyone" and Quincy ran up the stairs and Ran into a Room "wait...Three...beds" and he looked back "Um.. theres more than one bed in each room guys..." Quincy said
"Oh..ok then we'll try and make it work" Kyria said
"well then the guys sleep in one room..and the girls get the other." Samantha said

Silk glanced into one of the rooms, then stepped into one of them and place Kevin on one of the beds, "This will be the men's bedroom, I suppose," He stretched a bit, "I don't mean his majesty any offense, but he's heavier than he looks." He looked between the others, "If you don't need me here, I think I'm going to try and contact my friend now. Something tells me we should get some information as soon as possible."

"Go ahead, Silk," Ahri said absentmindedly. "Have fun. In the meantime, I think I'm gonna go to our room..."

Ahri went into the room for the girls and plopped herself on the first bed she saw. After laying there a few moments, she finally heaved herself up to look through her backpack. She'd always hoped she'd be spirited away on an adventure some day and so she carried a change of clothes, but not much else. Why didn't I bring anything else? she thought in frustration. I should really stop being so impulsive. Feeling in her coat pocket, Ahri was surprised to find a hard, smooth object. It was a rock that she'd picked up on a walk one day when she was feeling sad. She gripped the rock more tightly. I can do this, she thought as she stowed the rock in her pocket. Ahri arranged all her things and flopped back on the bed again, hoping for sleep to come quickly. I bet Samantha or Kyria will try to talk to me though... At the very least they'll be noisy. Unless they have business elsewhere before bedtime.

Samantha sat downstairs at a table just thinking and playing with the knife Silk gave her
"Do...I deserve to be here, I haven't done much, the others are so strong" and Samantha let her mind drift away and she began thinking about her past, she remembered playing with Quincy when they were little when she lived at the orphanage back in Drieal "One day i'm going to get out of this orphanage, and explore the world" and Samantha snapped back and noticed she had fallen asleep on the table
-in the room-
*Knock Knock* and Kyria walked in "Ahri, I need to talk to you about Susano'o" Kyria said

Ahri sat up and sighed internally. She knew something would interrupt her rest. She wanted to know about Susano'o though, so she perked up quickly.
"What do we need to talk about?" she asked eagerly.

"Just be careful about using it, it has side effects, Dangerous side effects, Susano'o makes you light on your feet and allows you to control Lightning and wind but comes at a price" Kyria said

Silk left the inn quietly, looking around as he did. He hadn't been to this city since he was a little boy, so he didn't know the city as well as he ought to, which made him a bit jumpy. You wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at him, though; his face was very calm and composed.
As he walked down the street, studying the signs of various shops and other port businesses, he noticed many of the people in the town looking wearily at him, and others they happened to pass. They probably don't even know they're doing it, he thought, Spade did say that many of these people were refugees and outcasts. Many people like that tend to be a bit nervous around others, and it's a hard habit to break. Though, then again, I'm not exactly socially easy-going, myself.
His musings cut off quickly as his eyes caught sight of a small insignia carved into the lowercase letter "A" of one particular sign. It wasn't inked in or anything, so unless the light hit it just so, it would be nearly invisible to the untrained eye. Without even missing a beat, Silk turned and entered the store, which turned out to be a fisherman's warehouse.

Quincy fell asleep..and he began dreaming "Hey Kid, good your finally asleep" The Cloaked man appeared "What do you want, and I want you out." Quincy said "Well I said I was gonna dig around and I found something" Quincy with a surprised look on his face couldnt say anything "It's about your Mother..." "Dont...say anything" and Quincy began covering his ears "Your a Half Angel....ohhh a hybrid, The world must hate you.." "I said Quiet!" and Quincy Jumped up out of his sleep

Silk walked up to the man behind the desk and stood there calmly, waiting for the man to look up from the paper he was writing on.
"Can I help you?" The clerk asked when he did.
"I hope so," Silk replied, "I need to get word to a friend of mine; it seems the salmon run is late this year."
The briefest flicker of surprise flashed across the clerk's face, but he continued the code quickly, "Is that so? This is the first time I'd heard about it. Does your friend keep track of the runs often?"
"Very often," Silk said, "He has an almost obsessive interest in fish."
The clerk inclined his head, "Welcome, honored member of the intelligence service. How may I be of service to you?"
"Are we safe to talk here?" The little spy asked.
"As safe as any place in this port."
Silk nodded, pulling out a small envelope trimmed in red, containing a letter he had written just before leaving the inn, "I need this to be taken to Javelin back at the main headquarters," He said, passing the envelope to the man, "As quickly as possible."
The clerk glanced at the red trim, "An urgent message, I see," He noted, "I'll have someone get on it immediately."
"Good, thank you. If you would let me know when he replies, I would appreciate it greatly. Oh, and I need a detailed report of everything that's been going on here as well as every town, city, and forest fifty miles from here. I'm going to be traveling around a lot, and I need to know what's going on."
"I'll have a detailed report for you tomorrow morning," The clerk said, "I'd give you one now, but.." His voice dropped, "There have been some people trying to get some of this information from me. They look like palace guards, but something's off about them. They don't know exactly who my spies are, but they know where they report to. I've been giving them false leads as much as I can, but I don't know how much longer I can keep that up."
"Have you reported to headquarters?"
The clerk nodded, "I have yet to hear from them, though. I'm starting to worry that my messenger was waylayed, or that the guards have already dealt with those at headquarters."
Silk frowned, "That is troubling.. I may have to go and see if everything's alright over there." He passed a few small coins to the man, "Thank you for your help."
"Anytime," The clerk replied, "Have a good day, and be careful out there."
"I'm always careful, my friend," Silk said with a grin, then he turned and went out the door, heading back towards the inn.

Quincy got out of bed trying to shake what just happened to him in his nightmare
"*huff* T-That was...odd" and Quincy walked out side and looked at the full moon in the night sky. "The world...hates me.." and he quickly shrugged off the feeling and went back to his fun loving care free self "Nah..I'm here to enjoy myself, and beat some bad guys, heh forget that masked weirdo" Quincy yelled outside

Silk walked back towards the inn, keeping his eyes open. He wouldn't have been at all surprised if he were followed back to the inn, but though he discretely looked over his shoulder and in the dim reflections of shop windows, he didn't see anyone. All the same, before he reached the inn, he ducked down a side street, practically melting into the shadows as he hurried silently down the alleyways. He entered the inn through the backdoor and went upstairs, entering just as Quincey yelled into the night air. "What are you shouting about?" He asked.

Ahri became so excited at the prospect of all the abilities she would have that she almost didn't catch the last part of what Kyria said. When it registered in her mind, her mood dropped a little.
"What kind of price?" she inquired hesitantly. She almost didn't want to know. What if the price was something very bad? It could be just a small thing though... Or so she hoped.

Quincy looked blankly at Silk
"....I well I was um...you know what forget it" and Quincy walked back inside
Kyria looked at Ahri "all the cursed weapons have addictive tendencies...you drawback is that as long as you use your awakening you will forget about your loved ones piece by piece" Kyria stated

Ahri was alarmed at the prospect of forgetting her family back home. In a panic, she asked, "Is there anyway to avoid that?" It was a terrible thought, to completely forget those she loved. But somewhere, in the back of her mind, lurked the slightest thought that then she might forget the guilt of leaving them without saying goodbye. She quickly banished the thought from her mind. It was not a good thing to be thinking.

Silk looked at him a moment, then shrugged and said, "I think we need to get the ladies together; I found something out that I think we all need to know."

Quincy Ran in after Silk and knocked on the girls door "Guys, Silk has something to talk about lets get into the lobby" and Quincy walked out of the room
"in the end it's your choice to use Susano'o...Well Lets go" and Kyria walked out of the room
Samantha sitting at the table in the lobby finally got up and walked to Silk "Hey Whats going on"

Silk walked down to the lobby as well, looking around. They appeared to be the only ones in there, perhaps because of how late it's getting. Still, he did his best to keep his voice low as he spoke, "I guess I should let you all know now, before things start to get confusing; I'm not just a merchant. I'm also a member of an intelligence gathering service. That's why I was in the city when I was; I was getting information for them." Then he quickly went over his conversation with the store clerk, "I think we can guess who those guards are working for."

Kyria, Samantha and Quincy all had a surprised look on her face
"Well.... Who are they working for..?" Kyria asked
"So you saved us against that man, because of Circumstance...By all Means we could be DEAD right NOW!!!!!" Quincy began to get angry
"Quincy!!...Relax, it's fine" and Samantha fixed her hair
"Fine whatever" Quincy said and he took a seat

Silk wasn't surprised by Quincey's outburst, or by the others' surprised looks; he had expected worse. He just shrugged, "Perhaps, perhaps not. It won't do us much good to dwell on it now." He leaned against the wall, "Anyway, I think the guard men may have been Carlisle's; it wouldn't hurt someone in his position to know what he can about the surrounding areas. I know the man at the store, though; he's a reliable fellow, and won't let anything slip that he's not supposed to."

"So we leave tomorrow, go solve the problem with the elves and deal with Carlisle right?" Kyria asked

Silk nodded, "Sounds about right to me. The man at the shop said he would try and get a report to me about what's been going on around here by morning; maybe we can find out a little more about what happened in the elves' village."

"Ok then...Guess we rest to solve some problems" and Quincy smiled and walked by Silk and whispered "If...you hurt my friends, because of your intelligence group..I will personally hunt you down" and he Went into his room
Kyria glared at Quincy and Walked upstairs "Well goodnight, everyone"
Samantha Fell asleep again at the table

Silk only nodded slightly at Quincey's whispered comment. From what he'd seen of the boy, he'd suspect nothing less from him. He didn't regret telling the others about what he did; it would be better than trying to come up with explanations every time something like that came up.
He watched as the others went to bed, then doing his best not to disturb her, he quietly sat down at Samantha's table and looked over into the fire that was burning in the small fireplace, thinking about the day's events. Things were going to get more difficult as things went by, he knew, but he felt pretty confident that they could handle it. He noticed then that his hand was resting on Fenrir's hilt again. He sighed a bit, "Addictive tendencies, indeed," He said quietly, looking at the sword.

Ahri listened to what Silk had to say and she was only mildly surprised at what he had to say. He was a very mysterious man after all. After their chat, Ahri silently went to go to bed, but she decided to stay and wait to talk to Silk. He would know how she felt.

"Uh, Silk?" she said after he seemed to murmur something. "Can I talk to you?" she asked softly. She was unsure of how he would respond.

Silk looked up when Ahri spoke, "What is it, Ahri?" He asked, turning a little so he was facing her.

Somehow Ahri had not noticed until now that she held Susano'o in her hands. She stroked it thoughtfully as she spoke, looking at the ground.
"Do you feel very... attached to Fenrir?" she asked, finding it hard to put her thoughts to words. "Does it feel very... important to you?"

Silk thought about it for a minute. "Not.. consciously," He replied finally, "I mean, aside from the fact that it's a very special and powerful weapon that most likely needs protected, I don't feel that it's much different than any other sword. And yet... it is very, very different. It's.. hard to describe."

Ahri looked frustrated. "It is difficult to describe..." she said, the hesitated. She teetered on the edge of a decision.

Finally, she confessed, "Silk, I'm scared. I don't know what's going on, I didn't get to say goodbye to my family, I don't even really know who any of you are!" she finished sadly. Rubbing her hand on Susano'o once more, she lifted her head and smiled slightly. "I have, however, learned and experienced so much. It's been very exciting so far, and I haven't even been with you for a day!" she exclaimed with a wider grin. The thought seemed to amuse her.

"I guess it all works out in the end, doesn't it?" she said optimistically. She paused and savoured the stillness of the late night. "It was never this quiet at my house, she said. "Maybe I'll actually get some good sleep tonight!" She paused once more, then decided it was time to rest. "Good night, Silk," she said as she headed for her room. "Thanks for listening." It wouldn't be 'til she got to bed that all her worries would return, but she wasn't thinking of that now. She just wanted to rest.

"I'm sure it will take some time to get used to," Silk said at one point, "But I'm sure it'll work out alright. Goodnight, Ahri," He waved as she went up the stairs. He pulled the dagger from his belt and started to study it, wondering if keeping something in his hands would help quell the urge to put his hand on Fenrir all the time.

-The Next Day-
Quincy woke up early that morning.. "Hmmm..." he reached into his pocket and saw a locket , it was one he put in his pocket the same day they fought the cloaked man and opened it. "Good morning mom, dad" he closed it and got out of the bed He saw Samantha at the same table she fell asleep at, then he saw Silk there as well and tightened his eyes "Morning.." and took a seat beside him

Silk inclined his head to Quincey, "Morning," He replied. He'd ended up falling asleep at the table as well, though he thankfully hadn't cut himself with his knife when he did. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah...Could've been better" and Quincy took out his locket again. "Sorry..for my outburst, I'm just Very protective of my friends and family" Quincy looked at the sleeping Samantha "She, Was my only friend, everyone would pick on me cause I wasnt as strong..Then she came and protected me, heh it's funny" Quincy said "When you have people protecting you, you want to protect them even more"

"It's quite alright, Quincey," Silk replied, "I honestly expected much worse. I've had some pretty bad experience telling people about what I do." He glanced at the sleeping Samantha as well, then briefly up to the rooms where the others were still asleep, "But I promise you, I have no intentions of hurting any of your friends and family."

"At least I'm at peace of mind" Quincy said and he leaned back in his seat "We gotta go back to Drieal don't we?" Quincy asked "What does this Carlisle guy want anyway, wasn't the City enough. Can't we make this world better without violence?"

Silk just shook his head, "What he wants, I don't know. As for the violence..." He sighed, "Perhaps it would be better without it. But unfortunately, there's not really a way to stop it. It's been a part of human nature.. probably since the beginning. Whether it's a fistfight or a war, there's always going to be some form of violence in the world. But I guess there has to be something bad to help balance out the world."

"yeah, I guess your right. So what happens after we beat Carlisle. We're still fugitives. Kevin is sleeping. And theres no way they'll take our word for it. So i guess theres no going back to our everyday lives is there." Quincy said

"Not very likely," Silk replied, "probably the only person who can tell our story and has a chance of being believed is Kevin, and even then it'd be a stretch; Carlisle might try to say we used some sort of magic to change his memories or something like that... can one do that?"

"Well...I dont know who can change my memories but...It'd be really hard if I put up a Fight" and Kevin Began Limping down the Stairs" You guys really know how to guard a body"
"Woah, It's only been a day and you're already on your feet" Quincy said
"Yeah...So what happened while I was out. What happened to Carlisle?" Kevin Asked

Silk stood and bowed, "Your Majesty," He said, "It's good to see you up and about again. And Carlisle.. well, we managed to fight him off, but then we had to leave the city in a hurry because he'd set of a few explosives, and because we thought people might get the wrong idea if they saw us with you while you were hurt, particularly since most of the 'palace guards' are under Carlisle's command."

"I see...well, then Drieal is already lost. Carlisle is not stupid. If he planned this as he did I am no longer important to the city. The Guards will kill me on sight, as well as all of you. Carlisle is of Royal blood and he has the Guard as well, he will be most formidible and just as dangerous as before. But he, cant be doing this alone." Kevin said

Silk nodded slowly, "No point in going back, it seems... So who would be helping him then?"

"Thats it though....I don't even know. even his own father Killed Carlisle in the end and Cast him into the Darkness. He had no Allies so I'm not even sure." Kevin Said
"Well...We're still gonna beat this Carlisle dude" Quincy said excitingly

Silk frowned for a moment, thinking, "Well... what if Carlisle isn't the main threat here?" He looked up, "Is there someone - or something - out there that would benefit from having him causing trouble like this? Perhaps Carlisle is just a branch of some much bigger plan."

"Thats what i'm Thinking too" and Kyria walked downstairs "I've been overhearing your guys' conversation, Carlisle Is smart. but what if someone is manipulating him, like he's apart of something bigger?" Kyria wondered out loud
