Hm, I don't really have a whole lot to say about this one. It's pretty decent, nothing extraordinary, but nothing really wrong with it. [No rating]/10.

You totally one-upped this song! This is how it SHOULD sound if that announcement Itoi made was Mother 3D It was so good I just had to get up and do my dance~! The only problems I had were that instrument at 0:06 (It should fade out more) and the fact that it just ends abruptly. Don't worry, your percussion was JUST fine. Other than that, 9/10 Now do the Hippie Battle theme

And on your gym battle remix, DON'T GIVE UP. Quitting is so laaaaame.

I'm getting attached to using these soundfonts, they can get quite addicting. My only complaint is that they sometimes cause FL Studio to crash....and sometimes at the worst points too. :c I did manage to make another Soundfont remix (a bit more complicated than my last one though )

Hmm, another pretty interesting one. It's pretty easy to hear the original bits in it, especially in the percussion. I definitely think it holds together nicely, with a good selection of instruments. 9/10.

(I get the feeling I may want to avoid rating these when I have no idea what the song is and think it's just all around alright, like the one from EarthBound Zero.)

Keep. Experimenting. With this soundfont. Oh my God, I've never even heard the original but now I feel like I need to compared to how genius your version sounds. And your percussion... it's so... so lovely. Even though it sounds like a pretty simple song, it's catchy. I can barely find things to sharply nitpick on so I'd give ya a TEN OUTTA TEN. (Except for the strange ending again, can't you fade it out or something?)

Yes, Cat. Don't get sucked into the Mother fanom. It's evil!

New soundfont remix! I only expect a few to know this song, but I'll tell ya, this was tricky to make. The MIDI itself isn't perfect, but I think it managed to get the job done.

Hm, pretty good mix here. Only one thing that distracts me from the rest of the song, and that's one of the percussion instruments that sounds like it's firing every measure, starting at 23 seconds in. And of course, an abrupt ending. 7.5/10.

Too late for me to fix the drums. Oh, and I don't know how to fix the abrupt endings; I don't have an mp3 editor. ^_^' Here's another theme that a lot people probably don't know about. It's a shame there aren't a lot of MIDIs for this game.

I'm betting Gallium will love this one.

Anyway, sounds pretty nice, but it oddly sounds a little...lacking, like something is missing. I don't recognize the song, so I'm not sure if something actually is missing. Perhaps it's the choice of instrument for the bass parts. Otherwise, it sounds pretty nice. 8/10.

I'm going to blame either the MIDI or the original composer, because the arrangement sounds weird. On your version, you need to bring out the guitars more, they're kinda soft. And even though you didn't fade it out, the song only ended SLIGHTLY abrupt as it ended on its resolution note. Other than that, it sounds amazing and you sure are getting better~! 8.5/10

Ooh, I really like the percussion in this one! It sounds rather orchestral. The electric guitar, sadly, does cheapen the overall remix. Very, very close, and otherwise quite nice sounding! 9/10.

Oh Suicune, you know that song is like my baby~ I've never even played that (or any) Final Fantasy games and yet that is my favorite one. The instruments you used also gave it sort of a Mario & Luigi vibe, which ties it to my love for Yoko Shimomura's SNES arrangement. I can't even rate this due to how much I love it, but I LOVE IT~! The only real nitpicks I have are BRING THE BASS OUT MORE. And I dunno if it's just the soundfont, but the bass sounds too electronic near the end.

I play no Final Fantasy, but I actually recognize this one! I know I've heard it a lot, too. Pretty good selection of instruments, especially the strings, bass, and percussion. This is easily one of the best-sounding remixes. The only reason it's not a 10 is because it sounds too similar to the original. 9.0/10.

I unfortunately cannot do that sort of remix with FL Studio. I may be able to do that when I learn how to use Famitracker, however. (Famitracker deals specifically with 8-bit remixes)

Anyways, new soundfont remix! I don't like the intro to this one, it's really cheap-sounding to me.

The first 3 seconds sound weird, but you were right when you said this was a bass song, cause it's got some kickin' bass~! How come I've never noticed the song until now? (If you can do this, you should try the E4 theme from RSE)

Village Bridge has like 6+ sound channels, while FamiTracker supports 4, and one of them is for non-pitched percussion. That'd be tricky to do.

Besides that, kinda eh. It's not bad, but it's not fantastic, probably because these direct instrument swaps of older Pokémon games with DS game SoundFonts are far overdone and this sounds just like all the rest of 'em. 6/10.

Kick, kick, snare, kick, kick, kick, snare.... x's 500. This is pretty good, no clipping for the most part. Hm, it's pretty good and certainly sounds pleasant to listen to, but like the last remix, there isn't a whole lot of "you" in it. By that, I mean that it sounds pretty much like the original. But...

You stole the MIDI from King Meteor without giving credit.

It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realized that I needed to give credit to the people who made the MIDIs ._. (I didn't know because nobody bothered to tell me)

I made this one a while ago, so it's not very good most likely. It's not that different from the original besides a few small touches.

It amazes me how many MIDIs that guy made. I've been seeing his name around VGMusic for quite a few years.

Anyway, as for your take on it, I don't think the lead instrument from 0:21 to 0:40 quite fits with the style. This song is supposed to be a little spooky and about the same "intensity" throughout. Nevertheless, it's still a pretty decent remix and is enjoyable to the ear. 7/10.

Also, allow me to provide a tip for fade-outs: Audacity allows really easy fading out of songs by selecting the section you want to fade, then choosing Fade Out from the Effect menu. You'd need to install the lame plugin to export to MP3.

Reun needs to learn how to use Drum Kits ^_^; The MIDI I got for this song was too fast-paced, so I had to manipulate the track to make it slower. I also had a really tough time with the percussion; I didn't know which kinds to use. This does sound a lot like the original, so I think it would be more fitting to call it a remastering instead of a remix.

Whoo, second attempts!

Anyway I think it's okay overall. The thing I liked most was the choice of instruments! Though that random break at :41 was... random, it let me hear the instruments more. Though your bass sounded like it was on the wrong note a few times. Then when it comes back in to the regular song it feels a half a beat too early. And the most hilarious of them all, the one mistake I told you annoyed me the most you did AGAIN. X3 Oh, but I liked the ending.

Final verdict- 7.5/10 There's not much you can do on your own, but you should definitely listen to the original song a few more times to get a feel of what it's supposed to be like.

This remix oddly reminds me of one of my previous mixes and how I was quite attached to certain instruments, particularly the drums. I quite like the modulated (that "wavy" sound) lead sound that starts around 0:53. The transition at 1:49 seems to have an extra beat in it, most likely from putting the right loop marker one beat too far to the right. (For instance, using the time 13.02.120, that'd be measure 13, beat 2, frame 120 and works sort of like the hour/minute/second scale with different maximums.)

This one was a lot more difficult than I thought. >_< 9 different percussion instruments to fill and an extremely limited set of bass instruments to use- which are necessary for a rock remix. I'm even considering on changing the bass completely to make it sound more appropriate.

Ooh, I absolutely love that guitar, and the drums seem to fit quite nicely. Most of the instruments seem pretty nice, as well, especially that lead around 1:20 and that modulated (wavy) sound in the background around 1:38.

My only real problem is that there is a lack of high bass. There's a lot of treble, a nice amount of upper-middle frequencies, and a good deal of deep bass, but there isn't much above the bass. Sadly, it makes the song feel a little lacking. Specifically, I think the bass used in the song is one octave too low. Try raising it an octave (and possibly trying other bass instruments afterwards).

Overall, a very nice remix for a rather exciting song, and it sounds like you put a good deal of effort into instrument synergy (matching instruments).

8.5/10

The percussion is tight, the instruments feel amazing, the bass is funky and that's my favorite kind, everything just flows so well. I haven't liked a remix of yours this much since N64 Rainbow Road. Well I guess there's nothing else to give you but 10/10. You're getting somewhere

I'd offer to teach you some of that music theory, but let's face it, I'm the worst teacher that I know

After running around all day, I figured it'd be nice to work on something new. This isn't finished, but I've always wanted to make a simple remix of a song. I mostly was trying to figure out which instruments would be best to use for a kind of remix like this.

Keep in mind that this is a WIP.

Hm, sounds like you've got a pretty good start there. I rather like the instrument choice.

I didn't have enough simple instruments to use, so that's the best I've got. >_>

Made a Wild Arms 2 remix instead! Not my best piece, but it was still fun to make.

Here's the original song:

Sounds pretty snazzy, but there doesn't sound like there was much you could improve upon simply by adjusting the instruments but not the notes. 7.5/10.

New Deoxys remix that I wanted to try over a year ago! I fixed the crashes so that they don't sound too soft.

I'm starting to run out of original things to say to these. FL Studio must not have a great selection of electric guitars, as I've heard that particular one in several remixes of yours, as well as several I've heard years back. Sounds pretty standard fare; quite nice to listen to. Something I think you need to work on are your endings. They tend to be quite abrupt on most of these (except the ones that are custom MIDIs with proper endings).

7.5/10

I added another guitar to make a cleaner sound as well as some more sawtooth.

Also this just a request from me- I'd rather not have a rating out of 10 anymore. I prefer to read comments and suggestions. :3

I rate that request 7/10, it wasn't dynamic enou- *shot*

Anyway, the song, I do like most of the instrumentation and the arrangement. I just don't like how heavy that distorted guitar sounds, I feel like it wants to take over everything else.

But you could still work on a cleaner ending. It feels like it gets soft and then ends. A cadence should have build up, sorta like a climax. Then it softly gets... softer. Or you could do what I do and make it loop an extra time, snip it somewhere during that extra loop, and include a VGM fadeout there.

Hm, I don't have much new to say about this version. The bass feels more powerful and more fitting for the song. I like the backing synth sound quite a bit.

I'm really having fun with these RSE Soundfonts. They seem to really fit any kind of song from the Kirby series (the slap bass is almost identical)

Turty requested this one, so here you go- this literally took me 5 minutes to make.

(Note: I was being mostly silly with this one)

You jerk, I was so serious XD

From the start to :18 is okay. I feel like there could be more vibrato in the melody line, but it feels somewhat like Hoenn~ But then :18 onward sucks (before the loop.) There were so many instruments used it killed the mood. Especially the one that sounded like a pizzicato violin.

It...doesn't feel like RSE at all. In fact, it sounds almost nothing like the RSE sounds. Whatever SoundFont you used must be a complete mess. The first half almost sounds like a Wurlitzer organ, though.

You know, now that I've thought about it, it doesn't sound like Hoenn at all. It instead sounds like a demo song from D/P/Pt. That pizzicato string instrument sounds reminds me of the one used in Mystery Zone.
Then again, why am I still analyzing this? This wasn't meant to sound good.

This one went quicker than I thought. I absolutely love this song and I wanted to make an attempt to remix it.

Your take on this is pretty decent. The instrumentation seems to fit well throughout the whole song.

*Sonic Advance 3

I had to click on this because I love Sonic Advance 3 and I LOVE Nonaggression. I love the opening few seconds the most. It's missing the "grunt"-ish feel to some of the sounds, and the techno can be overwhelming, but I think it's pretty good.

FL Studio was a real pain today; it froze up in the middle of my first attempt at this one, so I had to redo everything. <__>

Sounds just like the ultimate tourist trap I know and hate. Very very much. This rendition reminds me of Dreamy Wakeport, and that's an amazing feat. YOU actually remind me of Lady Yoko! (Shimomura, not the screechy one.) I especially love when it breaks into the melody and captures your soul. And to top it off, the whole feeling of the song is like you're on magic cake! You've come far, young Suicune.

But as lovely as this is, you know now that I must break you, for I am the ultimate Earthbound fan beaten out only by Lord Tomato.

Hm, I don't quite think the lead instrument quite fits for the backing track, as it clashes a fair number of times. Otherwise, the rest of the instruments fit quite nicely.

Hooray, another good idea demoted. It sounds like your instruments are at war with each other and because of that I can't find the melody. There's a general disarray in the entire arrangement. The break from Pollyanna was good though.

I don't even know why I'm critiquing one of your non-serious songs. If you ever decide to do a REAL version then bring out the lyrical part more.

Unfinished Waltz Mix of Don't Speak Her Name from Fire Emblem. FL Studio crashed while I was halfway done making it and I've been in a sour mood ever since.
