"I'm fine with bourbon." Sydney shot it quickly. "Thanks."

"No prob." Steve lays back down. "If you need anything else. Just ask."

As he followed Brianna, he noticed something... This path.. "It's over here." She walked onto the steps of her apartment building. "Crap..." Matt said to himself. He noticed something. It was the apartment where he was staying. Even worse, it was the door to the right of them. Matt quickly ran into Brianna's room, hoping that they didn't hear. "Well, you seem like you were distracted.." She said. "Whats wrong?"

"I will." Sydney sat up. She slicked back her hair and put in a ponytail.

"Hey I like your hair like that." Steve pointed out.

"Thanks." Sydney layed back down.

Steve went to sleep. Steve was really quiet. (I'm going to sleep now.)

"Well, its the stress... And, to be honest, the room where i am staying, is just left of this room..." Matt said, and started to tear up. "Awww, don't worry. They say I relieve stress well." Brianna said. Matt knew where she was going with this, and he half approved, half disapproved. Disapproved for the fact that he still has Sydney, and that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. The thing was, Matt didn't even know if Sydney really liked him anymore, and probably moved onto Steve. He was confused.

Sydney was wondering where Matt was. He had been gone for a while.

Steve wakes up. "Anything you need?"

"Go to sleep." Sydney knew he needed it.

"You need sleep too." Steve tucked her in. "There we both will."

Brianna walked up to him, and dragged his hand to her room. "Don't worry, when we are done, you might as well be stress free." She said. "I don't know Brianna, is this really a good idea?" Matt said nervously. "Oh, sure. Why not?" She ran her finger through Matt's chest, and pushed him to lay down.

Sydney sighed. She was worried. What if he was mugged or arrested? Where was he?

Steve sighed. "I'll go look for Matt. Just stay here." Steve left the room.

She took his shirt off, and began to take hers off. Matt gulped. It was almost like the club.

"Okay." She stayed where she was. Steve was agood friend.

"Check close then make your way out." Steve started at the end of the hall. "Excuse me have you seen this man? No?" Steve moved up the hall.

Sydney was even more worried. More scenerioes played in her mind.

Steve knocked on the door Matt was in. "Hello?"

"Oh" She said as she took it off. She liked what she saw in him. She took everything off, and she climbed on the bed too. Matt thought to himself: This... doesn't feel right..

Sydney cried at the last scenerio. He couldn't be dead. He couldn't.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Steve knocks harder.

"Hold on, there is a knock on the door." They both put their clothes back on, and Matt hid. Brianna answered the door. "Hello, you are?"

Sydney stood up and wandered around the fire escape. If he was dead, she would soon joining.

"Matt. There you are." Steve grabbed Matt. "Let's go."

"Wait, what? You know this guy?" Brianna said. "Yeah..." Matt said in a soft voice.

Steve drags Matt back to the room. "I got him Sydney."

Sydney looked out over the city. It was beautiful. The lights reflected off her hair and eyes.

"Sydney. Here he is." Steve showed her Matt.

Brianna followed them secretly, and Matt looked back to see it. He winked, and she winked back.

"Go away chick. We don't like your kind." Steve slammed the door.

Sydney wiped away her tears and continued to look.

Matt gulped, as he waited for a punishment. He was still drunk...

Steve threw Matt to the ground. "What do you think you were doing?"

Sydney turned around to see Matt. She ran to him "I was so worried. Where were you?"

Matt looked down. He couldn't look them in the eye without feeling guilty. Especially not Sydney... "I..."

Sydney still had tears in her eyes. "Matt?" He seemed odd.

"Answer me Matt! What were you doing with that woman?" Steve shakes him.

"She... I.. dont know..." He cried, and teared up.

"Woman?" Sydney started to tear up. She ran the door crying.

"Answer me dammit!" Steve shook Matt. "Answer."

"Wait! I... I'm so sorry... I won't blame you if you just, throw me out of here, and kill me. Give me to the soldiers.... I don't blame you..." He said it sincerely, and he meant all of it. He was a stupid friend..

Sydney sat out on the curb crying. She was so distraught. "I..I love him." She cried more.

"Your taking it a little far. But why? Why were you with her?"

"I was at the bar.. I had a few drinks, she was the bar tender, I was the only one there, and... She just said she could get rid of my stress for me. I don't know... I am so stupid..." He said faintly.

Sydney then walked down the street. Why had he said he loved her and slept with another woman? Sydney walked and walked pondering this.

"You fool!" Steve slapped him. Steve left to go find Sydney. "Sydney! You okay?"

"No." Sydney was crying her eyes out.

"I'm sorry you had to see them. I shut the door in the woman's face if that makes you feel better." Steve puts his arm around her.

"I... screwed up..." He said. Brianna knocked on the door. "Can i come in?" She said in a sweet voice. "NO!" Matt said fierce fully. "Our little stunt, ruined my life..." Matt slammed the door at Brianna's face.

"Why did he do that?" Sydney cried harder.

"I can't answer that but... I don't know." Steve tried to comfort her.

Matt cried alone. "I always screw up..." "Yeah, you do." Brianna said from outside the door. "SHUT UP! GO AWAY!" Matt yelled at her.

Sydney kept crying. "I think I'll go."

"Ya I'll go with you." Steve walks with her.

"No! I'm NOT leaving!" Brianna said. Matt took out his desert eagle, and shot her through the door. "Don't care if you leave now..." Matt said angry at himself.

"No. I want to go by myself." Sydney walked away.

"Great." Steve walked the other. "Oh no. A gunshot! Who cares." Steve lies down in an alley and goes to sleep. (Go to sleep now)

Matt looked at the gun... He didn't know what to do now. His life was a mess...

Sydney walked up to the apartment. She saw body lying there. "Matt." She walked in.

Steve laid in the alley. Not caring about anything. (Okay everyone go to bed.)

Matt pointed the gun to his own head. "Come a step closer, the trigger blows. Talk to me from there.."

"Matt." Sydney wiped away her tears. "What makes you think if you kill you kill yourself everything will be right?"

Steve wakes up abruptly. Then falls back asleep.

"Everything will be alright. Steve can have that girl he always dreamed about, you can have an actually good boyfriend, and a better chance of winning the war without me... It is better this way.." Matt has the trigger half way.

"I love you. I would die for you. If you kill yourself..." Sydney cried at the thought

"No.... Don't. You don't deserve any of this, I do. I cheated on you with a girl i literally met minutes ago... Then I killed her.. I. I don't belong here.." He said crying.

"Matt, I couldn't live without you here. Put gun down." Sydney moved a little closer.

"Exactly. You CAN live without me here. And you should." Matt points the gun at his foot. He shot his own foot, and passed out.

"MATT!" Sydney ran to his side. She started to fix his foot.

"It wasn't enough! Shoot me... now..." He said, eager to die for her own benefit. Matt thought she could have an a lot better life without him.

Sydney kissed Matt. She would kill herself before she would kill him.

Matt was speechless at the kiss. "Sydney..."

"Matt, don't kill yourself." Sydney hugged him tightly.

He hugged her too. "I won't. And I'm sorry you had to see this, and experience it all..."

"I'm glad you're okay." Sydney teared up a little.

"I'm just surprised you are... I put you through too much. And you still trust me.." Matt looks down at the gun.

"I'll always trust you." Sydney looked at Matt.

"Alright. I trust you too." Matt needed a hug. This was the most stressful thing of his life. But he knew he didn't need some other girl to help him. It was just Sydney, and only Sydney that he needed.

Sydney kept holding him. She loved him so much. She felt terrible he wanted to kill himself. She felt it was her fault.

Matt stared at her forgiving face, and felt the urge to kiss her. So, he did.

Sydney was shocked at first but then eased into it. She put her hands around his neck.

Matt kissed her for a long time, and while kissing her, he teared up in joy.

Sydney hugged him afterward. "Don't leave me."

Matt leaned on her shoulder as they hugged. "Don't worry. I don't think I will be leaving for a long time now."

Sydney teared up with joy. She buried her face in his shoulder.

Matt was still a bit stressed from a long day. It was easing up as they hugged. "Well..."

Sydney eased up. "Sorry I'm little overdramatic."

"No, it's fine. Lets just..." Matt felt awkward.

"Yeah?" Sydney was waiting for answer.

Matt didn't want to take it too fast, or too slow. "Lets just.... Honestly, I don't know."

Sydney grabbed him and kissed him. She knew what she wanted.

Matt didn't blush this time. He felt a lot more comfortable with her now.

Sydney rubbed his shoulders with her hands during the kiss.

The best kiss of his life, sadly ended. Matt didn't let go of Sydney's hand. "Do you... want to sleep with me?"

Sydney nodded her head. Of course she did.

Matt grabbed Sydney's hand, and brought her to his room. "Being with you is the best thing that has ever happened to me."

"Feel the same." Sydney laid down on his bed.

Matt climbed on the bed as well, and tucked them both in. "You comfy?" Matt's arm was wrapped around her body.
