Sydney opened the window. "STEVE!!" Sydney had the eyes of a killer now.

"AH!" Steve ran down the stairs and went back into the large crowd.

"Guys! STOP!!!!" He shouted at them. He threw up on the floor by accident. "Crap."

Sydney was bloody. She just wanted to get help at this point. Power still ruled her life, but now it didn't matter. Sydney passed out on the floor.

Steve kept running. He wouldn't stop. Ever. He dialed the commander of the forces.

"Steve! Sydney..." He rushed to her side. "Please... don't die on me."

Sydney was alive and would stay there. She had just lost some blood. Her mind was going on about getting Steve.

"The forces now belong to me. Bring them to the house in the forest." Steve closed the phone. He knew they would betray him so he came prepared.

"Please... Don't fight each other.. You two are supposed to be a team.." He tried to treat her by wrapping her knife wounds.

Sydney sort of gained consciosness. "Steve!"

Steve ran to his old house. "If they kill me at least I'll die where my family did."

"I NEED MY PHONE!" Sydney wasn't going to let Steve have all the power.

Steve sees lights coming into the forest. "Excellent."

Matt runs to the phone, and gives it to Sydney. "Here!"

Sydney started to cough blood. "I wasn't stabbed critically. Why am I coughing blood?"

"I am the new commander of this army now. The administration gave me the clearance." Steve stands up tall. "If you will give them to me commander."

Sydney was starting to freak out. She could taste the blood comig up.

"That's right. Hand them over." Steve obtains military forces. "Perfect."

Sydney passed out again.

"Come with me. There's something that needs to be done." Steve escorts the men to the apartment.

Sydney was now sprawled upon the floor, blood filling her lungs.

"She's in there." Steve marches up the stairs with the men.

Sydney heart started to slow down. She would be dead in a few minutes.

Steve knocked on the door. "Come on out."

"NOO!!!!!" Matt quickly grabs the phone, and calls 911. "NO!.... Dont die! I.. love you..." He kisses her forehead trying to comfort her.

Steve listens in the door. "I see. So he did love her." Steve knocked on door. "Come out!"

Sydney started to see her life pass before her. It was filled with pain. It was the only thing she knew.

Steve breaks down the door. "Sydney I've come to give you half of the forces... oh my god."

Sydney died right there. It was a little window to get her back alive.

"Medic!" Medic comes over. "Steve look on her wrist. It says only a kiss from her true lover will revive her. Matt kiss her already!"

Matt kisses her. "Steve! The ambulance is out there! BRING THEM INSIDE!" He cried. Tears were flowing through his eyes like waterfalls. He kept on trying to kiss her.

Sydney started to lose body heat. The window was closing.

"It's not working. Your not the one." Steve panics. "But who?"

Her face was losing color.

"It can't be me. She never said!" Steve was going to have to. "Okay fine I will but I will assure you it won't work." Steve kisses Sydney. "Steve she's gaining colour." "But how? She never said..."

"Don't you ****ing dare..." He said angry at the world.

Sydney started to totally be gone. There was a temporary regaining of color, but nothing major.

"Then who is this person?" Steve looks around. "EVERYONE KISS HER!"

"WHOA WHOA WHOA!" Matt steps in front of her, being his over-protective self.

"We have to try this Matt. Besides you aren't going out."

The ulcer in her throat was extremely large. The blood rushed from it in waves.

"Now what do we do?" Steve panics. "She might die here."

"This isn't supposed to be like a fricken disney story! Its real life, and she is DYING! GET THE AMBULANCE!!" He was crying more than ever..

Sydney was totally cold. In one minute, there would be no revival.

"It's do late to revive her with technology. We need something else." Said the medic.

"UGH! SHUT UP!" He picked her up, and rushed to the hospital. "PLEASE! WORK ON HER NOW, OR I WILL KILL YOU ALL!" He said in an angry/sad voice.

Sydney only had 45 seconds.

"It won't work Matt. Give it up. She's gone. If she was back I would tell her I miss her and I didn't mean to hurt her."

The doctors worked on her. Finally, they got the shocker. "3...2...1... CLEAR!" They shocked her.

The first shock never worked but it prolonged the time her body had

"What do we do?" Steve had a brainstorm. "I... have... a... plan."

Her body was still dead and had 1 minute.

"1...2....3.. CLEAR!" The second shock took place. It hadn't worked, but it gave even more time.

"3rd times a charm.." Matt said hopefully. "1...2...3..CLEAR!" The 3rd shock took place.

Steve ran out into the forest. "Where is it? Ah!" Steve found the bodies of her family. "She needs her family." Steve runs back with the bodies.

Sydney came back to life. Blood still flooded her throat though

"I'M A GENIUS!" Steve lied the bodies next to her. "Now clear the blood from her throat."

"What can we do about the blood she has been coughing up though?" He said a bit more relieved.

"Thanks point dexter. We already got it covered." Steve placed the airtube in her mouth.

She tried to tell them it was the ulcer. She was born with it.

"Look in there. She has an enlarged ulcer." Steve pumped blood into her heart. "She should live this."

Matt remembered the things that Sydney told him. They tried never to keep secrets, but the thought of that worried him. The club. To get it out of his mind, he said to the doctors: "The ulcer..."

"Yeah we know. It's enlarged." Steve sees her heart beating faster. "We're doing it!"

The blood cleared her throat completely.

"We did it! SHE LIVES!" Steve danced.

"YES!" Matt spontaneously kisses her, then blushes.

Steve slapped him. "Take it easy. Your going too far."

Sydney started to blush like crazy. "Umm...thanks guy for saving me."

"Your welcome. I'm glad to see your okay. I have something to show you." Steve shows her the soldiers. "They're yours."

"Yes. We can finish this war. soon, we will be VICTORIOUS!" He said trying to sound motivational.

"Thanks. Can I have my cell phone?" Sydney couldn't function without it in general.

"Ya here." Steve hands her the cell phone.

"Glad to see your okay." Matt holds her hand, as she is lying down in the hospital bed.

"I'm glad too." Sydney then preceded to open her mouth and breathe.

"So, doc. How long until she gets out?" He said, anxious to move on.

"You have your soldiers here. They're yours."

"Well I'm okay. It's just an ulcer." Sydney looked at Matt.

Doctor: "Well, I think she will do just fine. You are free to go, just go easy on your legs."

"Yeah. I saw that it was enlarged." Steve leans close to her.

"Well it been it's been there for 15 years." Sydney wasn't suprised. She was born with it.

"I see. Here is your men that we nearly killed each other over. That's your half right there."

"Good... But... Alright, i just noticed something... I don't get anything?" He laughed.

"So? What's your point?" Steve chuckled.

Sydney stood up. "You do realize I inherited the entire Air Force right?"

"Yup those are all pilots." Steve shows them to her.

"My point is, I wanna BE someone in this war. Not just any soldier... An important one.. You know what i mean?"

"But you are important. Your a general." Steve shows him badge.

"Alright, I like shiny things." He takes the badge. It was true, he was curious on everything that was shiny.

"So we're all soldiers?" Sydney felt like deja-vu

"Your a General now Jason. Be wise with your disisions. I must go now." Steve left and headed for Sally's apartment.

"Okay?" Sydney didn't care.

"Yes sir." He said with pride.

Steve knocked on Sally's door. "You there?"

Sally answered. "Oh hey."

"How are you today? I just revived one of my friends so I feel great."

"Good." Sally opened the door wider. "Come in."

"Thanks." Steve walked in. "I can make some coffee if you want."

"So... Sydney. You good?" He said awkwardly.

"No, I'm fine." Sally had already drank some.

"Fine." Sydney was up on her feet. She put an arm around Matt for balance.

"Okay. So what were you doing before I got here?"

"Reading." Sally pointed to the book on the table.
