1 – TwiggySo I decided I'm going to change my major from General Studies to Computer Science it has the program that had the most options I'm interested in.
I'm gonna get my associates at the community college I go to now. Then I'll try to get into New York City College of Technology so I can get my Bachelor's degree.
There now I won't be one of the few people on the site not majoring in computers.
I finally finished The Last Olympian which means I'm done rereading the original Percy Jackson series. Now I can start on the fresh mmmm mmm tasty House of Hades. The chapters go up to LXXVIII. I can't even read what number that is~

Guys, I just watched a really sad movie and I need cheering up.
(in case you're wondering, it was a romance-y anime movie called 5 Centimeters Per Second.) |
I hear that where im at, this year get a mild winter. So what the heck is a mild winter anyways? In our news paper today that they know how to tell what of kind of winter we have by looking at the brown stripe on the caterpiler. (The bear one i guess...its black with a brown stripe)
It rained viciously today. I was so sopping wet on the bus. I feared for my book's life (which I always keep clutched to my chest, it's my baby.)
But rain is good for being with friends, kissing friends, pushing friends~ Ah, rain~
1 – EaglesI like the weird smells that arise while it's raining. (Fun fact for those who don't know: you don't smell the rain; you just smell everything else better.)

2 – Twiggy, SpikyEaredPichu96So that must be where petrified comes from. I bet it derived from Medusa's stories. Just adding on, ichor is the golden blood of the gods, said to be that color from their holy diet of ambrosia and nectar. It's toxic to mortals.
I'm a Greek mythology nut, it's always been my dream to visit Athens.

I used to be a Greek Mythology nut too, I read all the Percy Jackson books xD But yeah go to athens.. the sight seeing and tours are absolutely beautiful, it's almost a must<3 I mean I don't know if you've seen any of the pictures I've taken but it's stunning
|
|
Oh yeah I sorta read them too.
Attachment 5589 But I've been studying it since the 5th Grade. I've seen your pictures as well, and I'm sooooo jealous. Ancient architecture fascinates me~ It never ceases to amaze me what was accomplished before the conveniences of modern technology. In a purely American way, it's like comparing wooden rollercoasters to steel rollercoasters. |
|
Ahhhhhh I love it too! And omg I need to continue reading those! I need to buy Mark of Athena, ASAP! And woah, i've been reading since 5th grade too! lol, Rick Riordan is a great author! And is that first book on top of Lightning Thief part of the series at all?

I can't read history if it's for school. If I'm trying to figure out what happened on my own time, I could be studying for hours and I'd make sure not to forget anything.
Love learning, hate school and rules. How odd.

AH, SCOTT PILGRIM~ My previous obsession and favorite movie... well, before Wreck-It Ralph was released, anyway. In what way could anyone possibly augment the classic love story of the 23 year old loser who breaks the heart of the 17 year old for the mystery girl on rollerskates? JUST ADD CANADA AND VIDEO GAMES.

3 – TurtwigX, JDxImpetus, GalliumGrantDoes studying The Beatles history count as educational?
My county barely respects itself. And the teachers aren't very good at their jobs. Some are so strict that I can't respect them... which to a regular person wouldn't make sense, but it's in my nature. I do the best in things that I do by myself. Group projects always end bad for me.

4 – JDxImpetus, TurtwigX, GalliumGrant, EaglesYES! It only took 4 months since its announcement, but I finally got Halo 3 for free! All I need is Halo 4 and my collection is complete~<3
1 – EaglesI think my dorm is going to set a record for most times that the fire alarm was set off. The count is already up to 4 and it's only been 2 months.
This time somebody put Tupperware in the stove and then turned it on. When I walked out of my room, the entire hallway was filled with smoke. Nobody's hurt, but it's annoying when you're forced to leave the building when it's cold and raining outside.
1 – Cat333PokémonHAHAHAHAHA!
Wow, the people in your dorm are idiots. Do they do this on purpose or what? XD

Tupperware in a Stove...... Um...Why? |

Why does chemistry have such tedious homework, and why does life have to get in the way each time I sit down to do it?
Now I'm tired, and that leads to me being tired tomorrow and wanting to fall asleep before doing my homework. Unfortunately my stubborn self won't allow that to happen, so the chain just keep happening until I'm a day behind on my hw.
1 – EaglesWow, I love getting goof off time in class. Forensic Science, you have never been this good to me~
I think the only reason I'm here is to relieve the stress. I had to do a week's worth of work in just an hour for AP Literature... I guess I should do homework at home or something... but I ate all my food over how nervous I was. This might FINALLY be the quarter I get straight A's for the first time in my life~ Amazing how far I've come from getting suspended thrice a year

Fun will have to wait.|
Senior year can be a ton of fun, so definitely learn to embrace how well you know the system now. I'm a couple months into my first year of college can get a sort of nostalgia for the days of high school, which I rather enjoyed.
ohwait hang on you still have to do college apps, those suck. Fun will have to wait. |
1 – JDxImpetusWell it looks like I'm probably going to fail my Integrated Algebra Class. :/
I hate college the pace is too fast for me to keep up with any of the work.
1 – EaglesSometimes I get jealous of my pets. They don't need to go to school, they don't need to find a job, and they don't need to worry about other silly things.
3 – Fubab_107, Eagles, blueumbreonWell after three weeks I've now been fired from my job because they hired to many people. This is very annoying because they never had me do anything or get to see how good of a worker I was.
I have to pay 87$ for the cigarette stand I kicked over out of anger.
I'm so done working in the food industry though.

I was retweeted by my idol!~~~~~ Jordan Burroughs, the Olympic gold medalist for wrestling as well as 2x NCAA D1 national champion just retweeted me~ I'm so happy! Ah! MY FREAKING IDOL.
3 – Magmaster12, Eagles, SpikyEaredPichu96I wish I had somethink interesting to talk about, but I don't. I bought a bunch of candy of Target yesterday for really cheap. School's been alright, but I just feel like I'm constantly forgetting things. My dad yelled at me this morning for not answering my phone, and then I found out that I have a dentist appointment after school. Oh well, I'll deal with it...
I hope that candy doesn't bite me back at the dentist's.
I've went and got myself a new set of over-the-ear headphones - a Sennheiser HD 439, to be exact.
I really miss that comfy headphones feeling, and now I'm getting that back. Over-the-ear headphones can be... surprisingly comfortable. I guess first-time experience with a particularly poor Philips over-the-ear headphones must have tainted my opinion.
Also, nothing sounds like mud.
Got a new phone this weekend: the Samsung Brightside. It's overall pretty decent, but unfortunately pretty laggy when it comes to the games and apps. It's still a pretty cool phone though, with all of the features that it has. It's a lot better than my old phone, too. I'll probably be using this until I decide to upgrade for a smartphone(That'll probably be a while, I'm not a huge fan of most of them as they are right now).

Look at the bright side: you now have a usable phone!
What's the Samsung Brightside, though? |
Today was a good day~ Two teachers were missing so that means half a day of playing HeartGold (which I had to restart twice since I lost the Nuzlocke X3) Then we had a drug quiz which was really easy since I know a looooot about drugs. 100%~ After school was over I went to our AP Comp Sci classwork to mess with it a little. I wrote my first class AND a tester program. It's a simple program that calculates different things about a cardboard box, but it's so exciting that it works because I made it work~!
I even made the Principal's Honor Roll despite my 85%, for the first time in my life~<3
4 – JDxImpetus, Luxray13579, Eagles, ShadeI had a great day too! Quite a bit happened! I started my morning by Wonder Trading an entire box as I got ready. Morning is the best time for that, because you get the ridiculously awesome Japanese rejects. I got a Japanese 5 perfect IV great natured Pokémon that I was planning to use on my competitive team. How lucky is that?! Then I did the stupidest thing ever and tried to check its summary while in Wonder Trade and accepted to trade it... So I just turned off my game! PSA: Adjust your settings to prompt a save before every Wonder Trade if you're planning on doing it a whole bunch (and not planning on focusing your attention on the game)! Then I drove to school, which is always a luxury because I don't need to get up early to catch the school bus. Then I started my day off with physics class. According to my teacher, we're racing through the course! We're halfway through the semester, and already 2/3 through the curriculum. So we wasted this class by watching Firefly.
Next was math, and math was pretty good. I'm pretty confident in my math abilities this year, which is great! I had spare next, and I mostly worked on my presentation for Japanese class (which I have over the regular lunch hour). I also studied some kanji in preparation for our retest quiz, but not a whole bunch. Fast forward to Japanese class, we did the retest and it was the exact same test! So I did better than last time. Then we got to see our marks, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't do well on the first test, but it didn't actually harm my mark that much, so that's good! Aaaand then instead of doing our presentations, we talked about the IB Japanese exams. Scary stuff, man... But I'm excited! During French and English class we really didn't do a whole lot, just working on projects and question on the computers. Then I drove over to the bank, deposited my check and headed off to the mall where I walked around with my best friend and bought absolutely nothing. We had fun hanging out though! And then I went to Staples to buy whiteout and batteries for my graphing calculator. After that, I met my family at a restaurant and we had supper together, which was tasty! And now we're up to date. I'm currently Wonder Trading my remaining 3 boxes of unwanted Pokémon (of mine, I keep all the Pokémon from others because lotto). So yes, great day!
2 – TurtwigX, EaglesNovember sucks, I've been sick for the entire month. >_>
I got a bad fever with strep throat in the beginning, then I got an ear infection. Once I took an antibiotic, strep throat went away, but then I had to deal with my ear. Now I'm on a different antibiotic and my ear is feeling better, but now I'm showing symptoms of strep throat again.
I'm just going to come out and say this: I'm pissed. This happened already, but I hope I don't take my anger out on my friends.

Since the start? All that sounds crazy. I just got a little something yesterday, but my mom is super-nursing me back before it fully develops. I don't know how I'll survive without her...
|
It's a pain that my dorm and health center are practically on opposite sides of the campus. It's a 20 minute walk just to get a bottle of pills.
2 – Dragonite, Cat333PokémonSpeaking of the Mythbusters. I'm seeing a live event they're hosting up here. I'm hoping it'll be a cool event.
1 – SpikyEaredPichu96The Kennedy assassination to me was the same as the assassination that started World War I. Only that one was funnier cause the guy was holding a sandwich.
2 – JDxImpetus, EaglesToday was nice. We saw Sequelitis in anime club and I was reminded of why I loved Egoraptor so much. Even though that's old it still makes me laugh as much as when I first saw it. Also, one of my favorite keepsakes from Las Vegas was hilariously a box of cheese flavored cup noodles since they didn't sell them here. Until now! Now I can finally let go~
But then it was also a tad bit unfortunate. After some research I realized I can't get an iPod touch 5th Gen because they use the stupid new dock and that would mess me up in all sorts of ways. I guess I'll just admire iOS7 from afar... I even finally decided to quit marching band, though the season's practically over anyway. I get no benefit or enjoyment out of it, and no one appreciates me being there so it only made sense.
It's getting better all the time~ I can't believe it, but after 10 or 9 months I'm finally getting the hang of the bass guitar. I think picking up the double bass had some help in there somehow. I just learned how to play my new favorite Paul McCartney song~<3 And then once I master this instrument I can jump to the next! There is no limit to how many things I will play!
1 – EaglesHappy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm going to be spending most of the day with my parents. I'll pop on here sometime later tonight to play on wifi with anyone if they're interested.
1 – EaglesHappy Thanksgiving to all you VRians!
My Thanksgiving started off good, and slowly got worse and worse as I got hungrier and hungrier.. I'm pretty sure I would've been more full if I followed my 1650 calorie nutrition plan.
It started off with a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, then we went to the city to see the parade. That was great and btw;
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I sure had a great day.
Doing nothing for the good first half of the day, then going to see the Mythbusters "Behind the Myths Tour" was amazing. Got a signed poster, talking bobbleheads and a T-shirt. The show itself was really entertaining. Simulating the sound of explosions, exploiting high speed cameras, good Q&A, Audience engaged showings and even shooting 500 rounds of paintballs from a modified anti-aircraft paintball gun at some guy wearing medieval armor...
Oh it was good...
2 – SpikyEaredPichu96, EaglesIt's the general conversation about ANYTHING, not the general conversation relevant to 90% of VR users' knowledge.
I happen to know what Rugby is, but I hate sports.
3 – Twiggy, Reuniclus, Luxray13579I think of rugby as an international version of gridiron American football. Besides, there's this thing called Wikipedia that I'm sure most of us know how to use.
1 – Luxray13579Soccer's more my thing, but only when I play it. I can't watch sports at all, but participating is fun~ I'm very competitive.
I've done that before, seeing as there's no general conversation about strictly video games (And I really have a thing against creating threads.)

2 – Eagles, BluFire1337Only if you're name's not Nintendo. I never have to fear buying their upgrades cause I always know I have a library of games ready while I work for some launch game cash.

I went home early from school yesterday cause I had stomach pains. After going to the doctor, I was sent to the hospital and discovered I had Appendicitis! I got the appendectomy done last night and fortunately the surgery went well! I'll be out if the hospital today!
|
I'm already back home! The surgery wasn't bad at all.. It just hurts when I move fast and stuff. I can't really walk exactly normal speed, but I can get around. Glad to be home~
