So I decided I'm going to change my major from General Studies to Computer Science it has the program that had the most options I'm interested in.

I'm gonna get my associates at the community college I go to now. Then I'll try to get into New York City College of Technology so I can get my Bachelor's degree.

There now I won't be one of the few people on the site not majoring in computers.

(in case you're wondering, it was a romance-y anime movie called 5 Centimeters Per Second.)

I finally finished The Last Olympian which means I'm done rereading the original Percy Jackson series. Now I can start on the fresh mmmm mmm tasty House of Hades. The chapters go up to LXXVIII. I can't even read what number that is~

I hope I don't suddenly decide to change majors when I get to college. I mean, I know for a fact that I would never in a million years switch from music, it flows through me like blood. (And I can't just throw away all my funny acronyms for remembering sharps and flats X3) But Computer Science... I'm not too sure on that one. I know I'm no computer aficionado, but I barely know how computers exist...

I'm never good with that. But Nerima Daikon Brothers is one of the funniest animes I've ever seen. Just putting it out there.
This reminds me of myself after seeing Wolf Children. I think I was crying on the plane.

Fun Fact #2: The name for said smell is "Petrichor", which comes from the Greek "Petra", meaning "Stone", and "Ichor", meaning the blood of the Gods and Goddesses. (Thank you mental_floss and John Green)

And personally, Petrichor is one of the many things I love about living in the Northwest. :3

So that must be where petrified comes from. I bet it derived from Medusa's stories. Just adding on, ichor is the golden blood of the gods, said to be that color from their holy diet of ambrosia and nectar. It's toxic to mortals.

But I've been studying it since the 5th Grade.

I've seen your pictures as well, and I'm sooooo jealous. Ancient architecture fascinates me~ It never ceases to amaze me what was accomplished before the conveniences of modern technology. In a purely American way, it's like comparing wooden rollercoasters to steel rollercoasters.

I was in 7th or 8th Grade when I started reading these books, so that was probably at the same time. And, hehe... that on top is actually not a book at all. It's a DVD of my 2nd favorite anime, Nerima Daikon Brothers (it's a musical.) I had nowhere else to put it

Does studying The Beatles history count as educational?

My county barely respects itself. And the teachers aren't very good at their jobs. Some are so strict that I can't respect them... which to a regular person wouldn't make sense, but it's in my nature. I do the best in things that I do by myself. Group projects always end bad for me.

Very educational!

Nah, I think once you put pressure on someone with what you want, it's natural for them to oppose. You can't make your relationship with a student simply about what you want. You have to direct them on the path to education by coming to means with their style of doing things.

Didn't mean to get all serious, but I just hate people who try to encage your thoughts and add their own. Individuals are individuals and the world would be a lot healthier if we let that be..

I think my dorm is going to set a record for most times that the fire alarm was set off. The count is already up to 4 and it's only been 2 months.

This time somebody put Tupperware in the stove and then turned it on. When I walked out of my room, the entire hallway was filled with smoke. Nobody's hurt, but it's annoying when you're forced to leave the building when it's cold and raining outside.

Why does chemistry have such tedious homework, and why does life have to get in the way each time I sit down to do it?

Now I'm tired, and that leads to me being tired tomorrow and wanting to fall asleep before doing my homework. Unfortunately my stubborn self won't allow that to happen, so the chain just keep happening until I'm a day behind on my hw.

Senior year can be a ton of fun, so definitely learn to embrace how well you know the system now. I'm a couple months into my first year of college can get a sort of nostalgia for the days of high school, which I rather enjoyed. Have a lot of fun and kick some butt.

Freakin' college apps are taking over my life. Come January I quit school, nothing but relaxation time. Oh but trust me, I still have my fun in quite a number of ways... not all of which would be smiled upon by responsible adults. But I get what you mean, I'm now finding it very easy to balance social and school life.

I wish I had somethink interesting to talk about, but I don't. I bought a bunch of candy of Target yesterday for really cheap. School's been alright, but I just feel like I'm constantly forgetting things. My dad yelled at me this morning for not answering my phone, and then I found out that I have a dentist appointment after school. Oh well, I'll deal with it...

I hope that candy doesn't bite me back at the dentist's.

I've went and got myself a new set of over-the-ear headphones - a Sennheiser HD 439, to be exact.

I really miss that comfy headphones feeling, and now I'm getting that back. Over-the-ear headphones can be... surprisingly comfortable. I guess first-time experience with a particularly poor Philips over-the-ear headphones must have tainted my opinion.

Also, nothing sounds like mud.

Got a new phone this weekend: the Samsung Brightside. It's overall pretty decent, but unfortunately pretty laggy when it comes to the games and apps. It's still a pretty cool phone though, with all of the features that it has. It's a lot better than my old phone, too. I'll probably be using this until I decide to upgrade for a smartphone(That'll probably be a while, I'm not a huge fan of most of them as they are right now).

Look at the bright side: you now have a usable phone!

What's the Samsung Brightside, though?

Today was a good day~ Two teachers were missing so that means half a day of playing HeartGold (which I had to restart twice since I lost the Nuzlocke X3) Then we had a drug quiz which was really easy since I know a looooot about drugs. 100%~ After school was over I went to our AP Comp Sci classwork to mess with it a little. I wrote my first class AND a tester program. It's a simple program that calculates different things about a cardboard box, but it's so exciting that it works because I made it work~!

I even made the Principal's Honor Roll despite my 85%, for the first time in my life~<3

I had a great day too! Quite a bit happened! I started my morning by Wonder Trading an entire box as I got ready. Morning is the best time for that, because you get the ridiculously awesome Japanese rejects. I got a Japanese 5 perfect IV great natured Pokémon that I was planning to use on my competitive team. How lucky is that?! Then I did the stupidest thing ever and tried to check its summary while in Wonder Trade and accepted to trade it... So I just turned off my game! PSA: Adjust your settings to prompt a save before every Wonder Trade if you're planning on doing it a whole bunch (and not planning on focusing your attention on the game)! Then I drove to school, which is always a luxury because I don't need to get up early to catch the school bus. Then I started my day off with physics class. According to my teacher, we're racing through the course! We're halfway through the semester, and already 2/3 through the curriculum. So we wasted this class by watching Firefly. Next was math, and math was pretty good. I'm pretty confident in my math abilities this year, which is great! I had spare next, and I mostly worked on my presentation for Japanese class (which I have over the regular lunch hour). I also studied some kanji in preparation for our retest quiz, but not a whole bunch. Fast forward to Japanese class, we did the retest and it was the exact same test! So I did better than last time. Then we got to see our marks, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't do well on the first test, but it didn't actually harm my mark that much, so that's good! Aaaand then instead of doing our presentations, we talked about the IB Japanese exams. Scary stuff, man... But I'm excited! During French and English class we really didn't do a whole lot, just working on projects and question on the computers. Then I drove over to the bank, deposited my check and headed off to the mall where I walked around with my best friend and bought absolutely nothing. We had fun hanging out though! And then I went to Staples to buy whiteout and batteries for my graphing calculator. After that, I met my family at a restaurant and we had supper together, which was tasty! And now we're up to date. I'm currently Wonder Trading my remaining 3 boxes of unwanted Pokémon (of mine, I keep all the Pokémon from others because lotto). So yes, great day!

November sucks, I've been sick for the entire month. >_>

I got a bad fever with strep throat in the beginning, then I got an ear infection. Once I took an antibiotic, strep throat went away, but then I had to deal with my ear. Now I'm on a different antibiotic and my ear is feeling better, but now I'm showing symptoms of strep throat again.

I'm just going to come out and say this: I'm pissed. This happened already, but I hope I don't take my anger out on my friends.

I'm trying to avoid my mom learning anything about me being sick in college, she would freak out. It's a pain that my dorm and health center are practically on opposite sides of the campus. It's a 20 minute walk just to get a bottle of pills.

Today was nice. We saw Sequelitis in anime club and I was reminded of why I loved Egoraptor so much. Even though that's old it still makes me laugh as much as when I first saw it. Also, one of my favorite keepsakes from Las Vegas was hilariously a box of cheese flavored cup noodles since they didn't sell them here. Until now! Now I can finally let go~

But then it was also a tad bit unfortunate. After some research I realized I can't get an iPod touch 5th Gen because they use the stupid new dock and that would mess me up in all sorts of ways. I guess I'll just admire iOS7 from afar... I even finally decided to quit marching band, though the season's practically over anyway. I get no benefit or enjoyment out of it, and no one appreciates me being there so it only made sense.

It's getting better all the time~ I can't believe it, but after 10 or 9 months I'm finally getting the hang of the bass guitar. I think picking up the double bass had some help in there somehow. Happy Thanksgiving to all you VRians!

My Thanksgiving started off good, and slowly got worse and worse as I got hungrier and hungrier.. I'm pretty sure I would've been more full if I followed my 1650 calorie nutrition plan.

It started off with a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, then we went to the city to see the parade. That was great and btw;

Spoiler Alert:
Embedded image

I got my picture of Pikachu! But after that, it just sucked. We went to flushing to eat lunch and I ordered Chicken Teriyaki. My dad only let me have about 25% of the dish so I was still so hungry. My next meal wasn't until 6 when my dad only let me have a plate of a turkey thigh, a bit of sweet potato, and spinach. Then I haven't eaten since. AND I'M STILL SOOO HUNGRY. That's me while I watch the rest of my family members stuff their face with everything possible. It was terrible. I'm still so hungry and i'm about to eat my arm off if I don't get food soon. but yeah that's thanksgiving for me (leaving out minor details), worst one in awhile..

Tl;dr: Boring and Hunger are two words that summarize the above.

anywho happy turkey day

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I sure had a great day.

Doing nothing for the good first half of the day, then going to see the Mythbusters "Behind the Myths Tour" was amazing. Got a signed poster, talking bobbleheads and a T-shirt. The show itself was really entertaining. Simulating the sound of explosions, exploiting high speed cameras, good Q&A, Audience engaged showings and even shooting 500 rounds of paintballs from a modified anti-aircraft paintball gun at some guy wearing medieval armor...

Oh it was good...

Soccer's more my thing, but only when I play it. I can't watch sports at all, but participating is fun~ I'm very competitive.

I've done that before, seeing as there's no general conversation about strictly video games (And I really have a thing against creating threads.)

Sometimes, in an RPG, it's not the difficulty of the game, but just your equipment being underpowered.

I learned that the hard way in Wizardry 8, but going back to the last full save fixed things up.

Good thing I'm getting a PS3 instead of a PS4 for Christmas, this way I'll have a bunch of games I can/need to play right out of the box, heck before I even open the box. Too bad most PS3s can't play PS2 and some can't even play PSX games aside from download.
