Ooh, you know what I love at the cafeteria? TRICK QUESTION! School food sucks, I have to take my lunch with me every day just to ensure that I will eat something. Even then I still enjoy bringing strange items to school; like a family sized bag of chips (all for me of course), an entire apple pie, trays of cookies, etc. I usually finish everything in class before lunch because I'm always hungry, even though it's against the rules to eat in class. Wow, I just really dislike rules, don't I?

I like how the emoji symbols are standardized. I think the iPhone is what popularized them outside of Japan.

🌏 Even comes with the Earthbound icon.

So, I try to withdraw money from my savings' account, and I get a "I'm sorry, but you have exceeded your daily withdrawal limit" message. Wat. How can this be possible if I hadn't of withdrew anything earlier today? My only guess is that maybe there is a certain amount you are allowed to withdraw from your savings (say, no more than $200), but even with that said, I was only trying to withdraw a little over $150. I'm confus.

Typically you're set at a base withdrawl/spending limit of $100 a day. I encountered that issue the day I went to go buy my 3DS. I had it picked out with an eShop card and it was bagged and I was prepared to pay, (and I had literally just deposited more than enough money into my chequeing account) and I received an error. Needless to say, I drove back to the bank (10 minutes before it closed), withdrew money and changed my limit to something more feasible: $500. Anyways, being it's a savings account, there may be some restrictions you can't change, but just go to your bank and check with a teller.

What sucks now is that I have to wait until Monday for any chance to speak to a teller, since the bank is closed weekends. But I'll definitely do that, might ask about opening a checking account if the limit is higher in a checking...or just ask if there's any way to make the limit higher in my savings.

Personally, I'd encourage you to open a chequeing account. A savings account is called a savings account for a reason. It's important to put at least 10% of every sum of money you receive into your savings account, but you can keep the other 90% if you like (though I'm putting 30% minumum away at the moment). This may be coming from a 16-year-old (nearly 17), but I plan to begin living independant of my parents about a year from now, so I've spent more time researching about finances and stuff than I have for some of my classes.

A lot of places waive the annoying fees when you connect a checking account with a savings account, but you'll still want to put money you won't use into your savings account. When you're ready to use it for whatever you saved up to get, you can then withdraw it. You can also use a debit card at checkout time when paying for things to directly pay with your checking account funds.

What I've found about most savings accounts is that they either have an odd withdrawal limit, a minimum amount that has to remain in the account, or both. I can withdraw up to $500 from my savings account, but if I go below $100 in the account, there's a $8/month fee until it goes back above $100.

What I have set up is a transfer of $15 from my checking into my savings each week [basically part of my paycheck goes into my savings]. Maybe something similar would work for you Cy [like maybe have all your earnings go into a checking account, and have around 10% of your earnings go into your savings?]

It's sort of a joking stab at Chrome for not letting me see the little faces. Honestly, I couldn't care less about being able to see them; it just makes it easier for me to dislike IE on yet another basis.

Speaking of movies, I saw what might just be the worst street racing movie ever made yesterday. Not much of a plot, not that much street racing (most of it was gratuitous stripping and talking complete BS about cars, which no one knew anything about), terrible acting, CGI not even worthy of the Playstation 2... It needs to be seen to be believed. [NSFW language, btw.] And that clip barely does it justice.

I've got the amazing time traveling package. At 1:33 am (Eastern) today, it departed the Phoenix, AZ, FedEx location, but at 12:00 am, it arrived at a US Postal Service location. People, please try to use the same time zone when tracking a shipment...at least when it's not crossing a time zone border. >_>
Sounds like when I ordered something from Ontario, then halfway across Saskatchewan it went NOPE, and just went back to Ontario for a week... I'm serious, I saw it on a tracking thing slowly going back.

So just yesterday, my AP Lit teacher told the class about the most important lesson we'll ever have in an English class. "The best way to punctuate a sentence is with 'b****s.'"

She's my new favorite~<3

How fitting for Friday the 13th. Though it'd be better with one less digit.

I thought it was going to be hard, but coding is actually fun. AP Computer Science and AP Italian 4 are surprisingly my favorite classes. I hate new year's resolutions, but I guess my new school year resolutions are to be fluent in Italian and to be 5x as flexible as I am now (Yup, already know which one's gonna be a struggle.) Wish me luck~

This senior year of high school's already tiring me out. Bleh. My classes are, for the most part, not too bad (with the exception of Calculus, because the teacher is literally too smart to be teaching a high school class) as I'm getting an A in all those classes so far (with the aforementioned exception...) but still...

But yeah, my Calculus teacher is waaay too smart, so we pretty much have to teach ourselves, and that hasn't turned out so well for me for the first test of the year. At least integrals are pretty simple...

A lot of states in the Northeast have pretty crazy weather. In upstate New York it's 80 F right now. Two days ago it was 50 F. In September. Most of August this year was colder than it is right now.

Sounds like normal Michigan weather to me. You really never know what you're gonna get here.

Been there, done that. I've been sick since Monday, but I started feeling better yesterday. Aside from this random cough, I'm feeling a lot better right now.

I also feel like half of the times I got sick last year were because of my parents.

My nose is clogged almost year round because Canadian winter stuffs your nose and my allergy to pollen keeps summer and spring decently stuffy

My nose is clogged year round due to my nasal problems and my asthma. No matter where I'm at I always have a pack of tissue in my pocket because it's a constant problem that will most likely never go away... without surgery, at least. And I will never have surgery unless it's life or death.

Hey, don't forget the mess that happens with landlines. When you move, unless you say you want it transferred, the phone number often stays with the house (or at least, that's how it used to be). That means that the new homeowner can get a lot of calls intended for you. We used to get a few of those every month, always from the same people. They never got the hint that the person moved.

At least it doesn't involve people involved with less savoury acts usually. That... It gives the new owner a lot of trouble.

I've heard some phone horror stories (all kinds of phones, and both over calling and texting) where the wrong people got involved in illegal transactions because of changed numbers.

I've had calls from a student loan collection agency asking for someone else who had owned my cell number before. It goes to show that cell companies recycle numbers way too much.

*sigh* It's finally October again. The one month out of the year I dread the most. Funny, it comes directly after my happiest month of September. It's just I can tie so much misfortune to October...

Oh well, I'll be busy with college early applications anyway. The Beatles released enough sad music to keep me company.

I have Fall Break when X and Y come out. I'll be off from October 12th to the 15th. :3 I'll also be home at that time, so I'll be able to trade or battle.

I'll probably be too busy reading The House of Hades or practicing for marching band showcase to play X and Y.

It's going to be a Round Robin tournament. It's going to be the 1st floor vs. the 3rd floor. (I'm on the first floor by the way) So far there are 2 teams of 7 people, so there will be a total of around 49 battles. I already battled against a few of my friends. One of them actually has a lot of experience with competitive battling. I'm glad I found a group of people to train my battling skills. :3

Also...my roommate locked me out of my room. D:
